What an amazing property !! I leased here a year ago and again this weekend . Wow! Upgrades galore ! The entire kitchen has been decked out with sub zero and wolf appliance and the HVAC was super cold .. I usually prefer the casita and let my friends take the main house as it's secluded and I got the best sleep ever . Water pressure was great and the 16 car garage kept my car out of the sun .. the pool was perfect too.. 5 Star from me. I've never had a better rental that compares to this one .. oh: another bonus - the view of the mountains from the casita in the AM is awesome - see pic. read more

we live just 20 miles away and finally spent time here. The mineral pools are warm to hot, you choose, and are pristine. it's an older resort, but well maintained. A nice pool to relax by, surrounded by palm trees. Steam room is available, as well as showers and changing area. And you can't beat the price for a day pass!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. This property management company is an absolute SCAM. They take highly edited marketing photos of their properties which lead the public to believing they are a top notch management company. I assure you this is not the case. My family stayed at one of their properties recently and prior to check in inquired to make sure all AC units were working due to the high extreme heat and the fact we had infant children with us. They confirmed all units were working and we came to find out the AC wasn't working on 100 degree heat. Not to mention a broken bed as well as mouse and rat droppings throughout the house. The place hasn't been cleaned or well maintained in months. We called the maintenance and office several times asking to remedy the situation and all they were capable of providing was a fan. Even when staff showed up to try and repair the place they stated the issues are all due to illegal wiring of additional units and too much power being drawn. The living conditions were inhumane. We several times for assistance due to the fact we had traveled far and paid an arm and a leg for the place and no solution was ever provided or offered. After being forced to stay we asked for a refund and they said cause we ended up staying that we are required to pay for the stay. The company is completely unprofessional and unethical. I would never trust anyone from this company and or business. read more

What a special little house! The design is sharp and fun. The house just is fun to walk up to and to be in. You feel that you're living in a piece of well-curated art. The back yard is clean and private. The pool is great! Four of us enjoyed our Palm Springs days so much we really didn't want to leave Jacques Soleil. We will definitely be back. We booked through Airbnb, so we didn't deal too much with the management, DLE. When we did have to, they were a bit slow to respond and said something about not providing liquid hand soap refills, despite every sink in the (expensive) house having (nearly empty, on arrival) matching liquid soap dispensers. Bit weird. But, they came by early the next day with new soap dispensers and turned up the pool. Satisfied. Thank you. read more

Toilets were clogged, AC didn't work, power went out and the place was infested with ants. The hosts did absolutely nothing to help resolve these issues and Tim the property owner didn't even have the decency to respond at all. They even unlawfully charged me for my service animal and I had to go through Vrbo to get a refund. Save yourself a headache and don't even deal with desert luxury estates. Plenty of room for family and friends. All bedrooms have their own bathroom and the detached casita was superb. The WiFi was excellent throughout the entire property and the kids loved the watching movies on the bean bag chairs. The billiards table provided hours of fun too. The house is well stocked with everything you need from pool towels, to toys to a very well stocked kitchen. The backyard and pool is a private oasis and was very relaxing and beautiful. This is a ridiculous scheme to get extra money out of people. I'll be disputing this frivolous charge with my bank. Again, please refrain from booking with them and get a hotel if needed. You don't want a shady charge weeks after your stay. Scheming for an extra $1,000 is shady, unprofessional, and racist--- we were the only people of color during our weekend stay. read more

We booked the Mountain View Retreat after being given a list of homes to chose from based on our party size. Seemed perfect for us. From the beginning the whole process was very clear and professional. Day we check in very streamline, we got there used our access code to access the house and started getting comfortable, the house was very spacious and clean and well taken care of. Pool and water fall were very big and nice and a BBQ outdoor for grilling. There is also a back house/ game room so lots of fun. Issue started when we got to he house and needed to turn the air condition on and realized its a 2 zone and 1 of the 2 zones which was for the main bedroom area was just blowing hot air. We contacted the office and was told its working, we insisted to get someone to look at it after a few calls back and forth finally they decided to send a handyman over to check it out. The handyman said it needs a part and we wouldn't be able to get fixed until the following day. I mean maintence would of prevented all this and I'm sure it just didn't happen as we checked in. The house showed booked for a few months out day after day so I am certain the previous people renting the house had the same issue. Either way we are in a house with 4 young kids and 4 adults and a new born in 124 weather outside and inside its hitting over 85 degrees. We called the office again asking for a resolution when the guy on the phone said he would gather some portable fans to bring. The night went by very hot and sweaty and very uncomfortable. The next day a ac guy did come out and fixed the unit and from that point on our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. When the employee came to bring us the fans he mentioned to email their customer service to get some sort of compensation. When we returned back home I sent in a email and no one answered back. A few days later I sent a resent of the same email when a man named Tim responded and said "Very sorry to hear about the issues you had. We always strive to have our guests have a great experience. Let me reach out to homeowner and see what we can do as far as compensation. Will get back to you soon. Tim never got back to me and when I sent him another email again following up he ignored it. Up to the point of getting all the phone calls sending handyman and bringing a fan you tell yourself things happen and they are trying to make the best for us but once you start ignoring and not responding that's when all that goes away. I have currently disputed the charge with my credit card and will not be using their service in the future which I felt they were actually a good company to use as we go to the dessert and rent a house 2 times a year at the min. Service business need to provide service, not to just take money and ignore at the end. read more

Our stay over xmas week 2021 was perfect, in no small part to Jessica who is the perfect example of what a customer facing professional should be. We had booked a 5 bedroom, amazing home in La Quinta for our family, father/mother in law, and sister/brother in law. Unfortunately, 2 days prior to game day, sis/brother in law came down with covid and mother in law with bronchitis. While we were in the no refund window for sure, Jessica spent loads of time with us looking at various options including relisting the property and offering us back whatever money came from the relisting. So far above and beyond anything we could have expected. While the place didn't re-rent, there were bites and Jessica kept us informed each time. We ended up going, just our family, and had an amazing time - each bedroom is an ensuite and the master bedroom was just ridiculous - literally 35 ft in width and opening to the pool. Kitchen was huge, as were the tv's (great way to watch football games), and the sunsets were beautiful. This was our first time with Desert Luxury, after more than a dozen Airbnb and private rentals in the area - we will be back for sure. Especially for this house - the one on the golf course, with an island in the middle of the pool, and a putting green! read more

13 of us stayed very comfortably - 8 adults - 4 teenagers - 1 child. Kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you need. Pool and spa were heated and instructions were great. Pool table and many games were there. Large eating area in the dining room and breakfast room. Conveniently located to shopping and golf but very private and secure in gated community. Many of us run in the morning and it is exactly 3/4s of a mile around inside the gate. Also easy to run outside the gate as well. The house had been sold weeks before we were notified. After calling them and speaking to a mostly inept and ill-prepared representative who offered the obligatory "I'm sorry", we were offered a smaller, less attractive home (10 miles outside our desired location), and no discount - just left hung out to dry and pay holiday rates. The property we had originally booked was already being managed by another company and had been booked to new clients two weeks prior to our cancelation notice!!! Of course, they shifted blame to the new home owner saying they were misled into believing they still managed the property. The amount of STRESS caused by the cancelation going into a holiday weekend, with grandparents flying in, and the LACK of accountability displayed by Deserted Luxury Estates is infuriating. Avoid. Amazing home for a weekend getaway! This home is really beautiful with fantastic outdoor space, plenty of privacy and fully stocked with every amenity. The pool area is really wonderful, with tons of seating and perfect maintained. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the casita is great for extra privacy. The kitchen is large and great for groups, and fully stocked with every appliance and amenity you need - I have stayed at many wonderful Palm Springs homes over the years and this is definitely one of the best stocked and organized, which made the weekend easy and relaxing. There are clear directions for everything from the spa to fire pit to televisions... Hosts were incredibly communicative and helpful when it came to my questions around arrival and parking. Everyone in our group agreed that we would stay at this property again - Looking forward to our next visit! read more

I feel robbed/cheated out of my money. I would not recommend this company. Because of the length of our stay and the large size of the home, we agreed to prepay utilities for the home - approx $10,000. After some questionable unexpected bills from this company (by way of Tim, the manager at the time), our trust in their accounting and business practices rapidly decreased. As a result, with the home owner's permission, we put the utilities in our name, which meant that the unused funds needed to be refunded to us. This was estimated to be $7,000. It's been almost a YEAR and we still have not gotten those funds OR a response from this company after repeated attempts. Tim, the manager, or the company has not responded to any inquiries - they simply seem to ignore the calls, texts, and emails. Please please look to a local realtor or other services to access these homes - most are available through other services, as many are not exclusive listings to this company. read more

Horrible company to work with! I hired them to manage my vacation home, and they consistently did not follow my wishes. They booked my home for less than the day rate I indicated that I wanted. They put a pet in my cousins home when they were told explicitly that he would not allow pets. Tim, the owner of the company does not respond, and Jessica is rude and never takes responsibility for her mistakes. They owe me $825 that they refuse to pay me. We spent a glorious 10 days at the Camino Alta property in Palm Sprong relaxing in the pool and spa by day, and grilling and chilling by the outdoor fire by night. We enjoyed every moment at Casa Azul. This special gem in the desert was everything we needed and more! The kitchen was well equipped and as foodies, we we had such a nice time cooking and hanging out around the kitchen. The pool, hot tub and fire pit were used daily and the outdoor kitchen was fantastic - especially under the party lights. The rooms were were cozy and warm and we felt right at home. There was ample closet space with a nice sized laundry room. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and easy to get to. We will certainly return. read more

My family stayed here for a month and enjoyed every minute. The location just north of El Paseo was perfect for walking, shopping, and driving to Palm Springs and Indian Wells. Inside, the kitchen is beautiful and well equipped, the beds are amazingly comfortable, and the house has a living room and family room for spreading out. Outside, we loved the pool, hot tub, putting green and ping pong tables. The pool gets sun all day - there are 4-5 umbrellas to escape the heat. This house was clean and beautifully styled and decorated!!!!! The beds were as comfy as any Four Seasons Hotel. The amenities were amazing with 7 TVS and a beautiful pool! We had the best family trip and didn't want to leave! We normally stay at La Quinta Waldorf and this was much better!!!!!! We will def. return! We also stayed at another Desert Luxury house and although the pool and waterslide was amazing, the interior of this house was WAY BETTER! Rented "Lagoon at PGA" for special family birthday - 5 nights for over $6000. Several upkeep and maintenance problems with house which is large with a good layout but pretty tired. Cold and rainy weekend but fireplace broken, fire pit broken, and many more issues with house - most importantly the broken and uncovered large suction hole in spa which is very dangerous for kids and anyone. Desert Luxury Estates finally called back and sent repair guys and electrician for fireplace but it never got fixed. Very dismissive of our concerns and didn't even care about dirty ladies underwear in cabinet, broken lounge chairs etc. This place is spacious and maybe good for a group of 20-30 year olds but is certainly not a "luxury estate". read more

By far the best place we have ever rented for our Annual Extended Family Reunion. What we loved most was the extra large, comfortable family room, extending off of the kitchen and large casual dinning area, very conducive to visiting. The bedrooms were big and each had a private bath. There were over 30 of us and we all slept very comfortably with complete privacy when desired.
