He instructed me to bring a Bluetooth speaker so I can play my music and it really helped with my comfort in finding my flow when in front of his lens. He made sure that I stayed hydrated and did frequent check ins, also his studio is centrally located, but has all the privacy. We were shooting for hours and each look gave new excitement. When I first got on set I've requested a mirror, and he just looked at me and asked if I could trust him a bit first, and let me tell you I'm glad I did. As he was shooting, he was conscious of the lighting, the drapery, and didn't just click away, studied me as a subject and guided me on poses to consider. His instructions were clear and there was absolutely no guesswork. And after each session, he would let me take a peek at the viewfinder, and I can still recall the squeals of excitement As I was finding a hard time recognizing the super model in frame! She was impressively responsive, extremely personable, and exquisitely professional. I had so many qualms and anxieties headed into the shoot that quickly dispersed once I met her in person and we got started. Melanie opened up her beautiful home to me and made me feel at ease. She gave me plenty of direction while still allowing me to share my creative suggestions. She kept to her word on when the initial proofs were to be delivered and I was blown away by what I saw. (My husband was too!) Melanie has a genuine knack for capturing the most beautiful aspects of any woman and putting them on film. My pictures came out so much nicer, more polished, and definitely more professional looking than the pictures I saw on the other photographer's website.
