Right on the dot, Trip (not what the circuit was doing but the electrician) was very friendly, fast, efficient, informative, and did exactly what we asked him to do. Refreshing! We're impressed with the company's service, price, efficiency, and friendliness. Perfect recommendation from us. He fixed a pool light issues, checked and replaced a suspected faulty GFI, and installed an additional outlet in the house. Didn't leave a bit of dust or evidence of his work other than expected. Jay Clark owner of Desert Mountain Electric. Was Great We had an Electric Switch under the sink which controls the Garbage Disposiable . The Switch starting burning and sparking we could not turn it off So I had to turn off the hole house electric which meant i had no air conduction Fridge or freezer. I called Jay at Desert Mountain Electric and he came right over replace the switch and told me the builder did not install the switch correctly . We could have had a hole house fire. Owner came to give me a estimate for adding some recessed lights in my kitchen. He showed up an hour late. Im not an expert on someone who uses drugs but he was definitely on something. He kept repeating himself and sniffing. His eyes were glossy. He also smelled like alcohol. I quickly got an estimate and got him out of my house. Will not use. read more

I was referred this company from the person I bought some LED bulbs from so I didn't bother to ask the cost to install the new LEDs. I had 9 lights converted over to LED and they charged me $550. The person I purchased the LEDs agreed that was too much to pay. The guy installing the lights spoke to me (owner of the business) in a very condescending manner, and seemed to be bothered that he had to install the lights. I feel like I got ripped off and spoken to in a disrespectful manner. I will not use them again. I already let the person who referred me to Desert Mountain Electric, and they will no longer be referring this company as well. read more

Had them come out for a small electrical job. The company seemed totally uninterested in my business and I had to call them several times to even get them to send me my estimate. Once I finally received it, their price was actually slightly cheaper than the company I went with but picked a company that seemed interested in my business. read more

Troy of Desert Mountain Electric recently installed a new LED light as well as multiple switches, timers and dimmers throughout our home. He arrived on time, was extremely professional, efficient and was able to answer all of my questions. Even though the work involved cutting through dry wall and pulling wires, he was very neat and swept up the debris after the work was done. He even demonstrated how to install the various switches and dimmers just in case I might need to install one on my own in the future. Prices seemed very fair and reasonable to me. Awesome service to start off. I requested a quote via Yelp and the owner Jay responded immediately and came out to my house within an hour to get a visual of what I was trying to accomplish. He gave me a quote, once I moved forward they send out a technician a few days later to knock it out. While going through my electrical panel, the electrician found a few electrical lugs used on my main wires coming into the house. Due to they are a safety hazard and could burn the house down he told me what we need and went to get the parts. It all worked out great in the end, the extra parts made the total go up but I utilized the $150 for $200 deal through Yelp and ended up right at my quote price.
