UPDATED Review: The…read moreteam reached out to me previously and offered to fix the issues. In our conversation, Rubi assured me that they will fix whatever is wrong with the project. I was hesitant because she said that one day would be enough to do it. When Gilbert arrived, he was by himself (unlike previously when he had an assistant) and said he would take care of the issues. I asked him if he can sand and stain the areas instead of painting in one day and he said it would take more than a day to do that. Given other circumstances, I really needed to reclaim the room that was being worked on and more than a couple of days of renos is something I couldn't do anymore. So I reached a compromise of him smoothing out some of the surfaces and painting instead of staining. Not what I wanted 100% but it is growing on me. I want to highlight that Rubi and Gilbert are genuinely nice people that would be willing to work with you regarding your project. Generally speaking, closing the loop in communication probably would have prevented mishaps. I can't give the 5 stars just because it is not what I had envisioned, but had the circumstances had been different and I had the ability to give their team more time to do exactly what I wanted, I truly believe they would have delivered a 5-star service. Thank you.

Charging $285 for a fix that took literally two minutes, without ever disclosing that minimum charge upfront, is the kind of business practice that makes me want to warn every homeowner I know. I want to share my full experience so others can make an informed decision before booking with this company. I had a bathroom outlet in my rental home that wasn't providing power -- it was newly installed about a year ago and this was the first time I tested it. I called to schedule an appointment, and the person I spoke with walked me through scheduling and availability but at no point mentioned that they have a $285 minimum service charge, regardless of how simple the job turns out to be. The electrician arrived and diagnosed the issue almost immediately: a switch/breaker in the main panel had simply been left off. He flipped it back on, tested the outlet, and confirmed it was working -- the entire fix took just a few minutes. Despite the simplicity of the issue, I was charged the full $285 minimum. I understand service calls have overhead, but I feel strongly that a charge this significant should be communicated clearly at the time of scheduling, not after the technician has already been to my home and the work is done. Had I known about the $285 minimum in advance, I would have asked more questions or looked elsewhere. I'm not disputing the technician's professionalism. My issue is entirely with the lack of upfront pricing transparency.

They had 2 sales people there aimlessly walking around. I was the only person in the store. One approached me and gave a dry pitch stating that if I saw something I really wanted, to let him know and we could work out a price. I felt like I was buying a used car. I didn't' know what to think of this place. At first I thought they sold used or open box products because nothing was showcased and everything looked picked through. It was like being in an empty warehouse. I inquired about the lack of selection. The man said the strip mall had been bought out and they would be moving in a few months. They looked ready to close tomorrow. I liked 1 fan in the whole place. When I inquired about it, they said it was broken so I couldn't buy it. No thank you! Skip it- not worth your time. Everything was overpriced anyway even with them saying they were closing.
