I had elbow surgery performed.He took out chips of bone straightened my arm in my tendon. He referred me to the cardinal's training facility for rehab. Two weeks after the surgery the rehab placed asked why he put me in a sling. They said now that i'm in a sling that the tendons have shrunk. They attempted to straighten my arm by having one of the football players.Sit on my arm and get it straight. After three days of trying to deal with the pain i finally had to give in and let the elbow stay bent. The most disturbing thing about this is when I asked him why he put me in a sling.He left the room went into another room.I heard him on the phone telling the rehab place that if they ever questioned his work.He would never send anybody back as far as a referral. I now realize that he has a god complex, just like most doctors and doesn't want to admit when things are done improperly. I also recently spoke to a registered nurse in orthopedics, and she said that that is one hundred percent the way Donald Sheridan is!

Wish folks would find the name of the Surgical Center and rate that center or their staff---NOT add it to Dr. Bertrand Kaper's review. He does NOT deserve to receive a low rating because of staff issues or scheduling issues out of his control! The Surgical Center deserves those low ratings--written separately! Dr. Kaper is a WONDERFUL, HIGHLY SKILLED SURGEON and deserves nothing less than the highest ratings. He came recommended to me by several individuals in and around Prescott, Arizona. I started out seeing a Banner Orthopedic surgeon for evaluation of bilateral knee pain. I immediately knew this Banner surgeon was not someone I felt comfortable performing two knee replacements on me. I then took the advise of others and made a visit to Dr. Kaper's office in Scottsdale (from Prescott). I felt an immediate sense of calm in his presence. With my knee MRI pulled up on a computer, he showed me and explained exactly what was wrong with my right knee (the first knee to be replaced). He made several recommendations. He wasn't pushing surgery but giving me all options available. I respected this as the Banner surgeon merely walked into the exam room and said, "You need both knees replaced." No other discuss. The BEST decision I made was to have Dr. Kaper replace both knees (2025 and 2026). My recoveries were unremarkable and I was pain free almost from day one! During my rehab and physical therapy I can't begin to count the number of people I met that had joint replacements done by Dr. Kaper. I've never hear one negative remark about him or his perceived skills from anyone who had surgeries done by him. Nothing but praise from so many others. He IS simply the BEST!!!! Before my last visit to the office to get my prescribed medication and records to begin my search for a new physician (been there for a year now) I wrote a review in regards to my multiple poor experiences with his staff on google lol. Bad idea. When I came in I instantly knew they had seen my review just from the way I was handled requesting a copy of my records. They processed me immediately to see the PA, which is a first (usually takes 20 to 30 oh and btw u only have a 10min window to be there even if you call in you'll have to reschedule ), probably bc they wanted me out and she truly was the worst. She was extremely petty & aggressive as she processed her basic routine check up and interrogation of what happened. I did not respond to her rude and indirect references to the situation but overall It was a very uncomfortable experience bc the service she provided was . Would hate to have to see her for medical help if I was on her bad side. Think I made the right choice to find a new primary care facility . The only reason this office in my opinion would be three stars is because its centrally located and Dr. Dicke is a great guy and was professional servicing me even though he knew. My recommendation to Dr. Dicke from a patients perspective is that I want more engagement from a physician. I don't want the basic here ya go this is what you came for type of physician. I want a physician who will be there with me for the long haul, know me, my future family, and give me advice on how to live healthier and avoid serious issues down the road. Today I went back and saw Dr. Martin because my MRI determined I need surgery. Totally different person. He informed me of the issue and what needed to be done. I could not be more thankful to Spooner Scotsdale and its employees. It's a long story, but something I feel worth telling incase any one else has the same hesitance or is scared. I'm a young man, and I'm not very open to physical therapy with the preconceived notion that it's only for old people, and isn't for debilitating issues like I have, more for stretching and general pain. I was extremely self conscious about coming in, and I am not comfortable with people touching me at all. I also delayed coming in for far too long, which I regret, because it was honestly, I feel, the only thing that can and did help me. I herniated a disk, and couldn't move after lifting something far too heavy. I couldn't move, I couldn't lay down, I couldn't sit or do anything without complete agony in my lower back and leg. I was unable to put on my socks, or do any normal daily tasks. This continued for about 3 days not getting better until my partner forced me to go to Spooner Scotsdale. I was very, very scared that they might tell me it's unfixable, because at the time, I didn't know what the issue was. The drive up was incredibly painful, but so worth it. I came in for an initial evaluation with Geoff, and cried pretty much the second he started talking because the pain was just unbearable, and also worried that this is something I will have to live with for the rest of my life, but Geoff was incredibly reassuring. He closed the curtain to give me some privacy, and calmed me down. He evaluated me, and after some movements and assessing, he explained what's happened. He had some spine models he pulled out to show me what's happened and helped me visualize the issue, and he kept talking to me until I fully understood what was wrong and how it happened. That was incredibly valuable to me, since up until this point, I didn't know anything except I couldn't walk or do anything really. He then helped me do some stretches and exercises, which before his explanation seemed incredibly counterintuitive to me since it just aggravated the issue more, but he explained it in such a way that I could see how it would help and was incredibly appreciative for showing me. I then explained that my schedule is very fluctuating due to work, and it would be very difficult to schedule additional follow ups, which was another big fear for me since I always thought you needed to come in consistently for a month for physical therapy, but he was extremely accommodating and showed me some home exercises and stretches to do, and printed out a sheet to take with me incase I forgot. I am genuinely impressed, that only after an hour with him, that the pain had been relived that much to the point I was able to get a ride home without much issue. Which is saying something, because before my only solution was to take enough ibuprofen to make a pharmacist queasy, which didn't even help the issue, just lessens the symptoms temporarily. I cannot put into words how phenomenal he, and every single person in that clinic was, at every step of the way. I am genuinely thankful to everyone in that clinic, and I will be every single time in the future I'm able to bend over without gritting my teeth. I will be recommending Spooner to all of my coworkers and friends. Thank you:)

They won't even this VERY simple question answer in the portal. I have NEVER ever had a clinic or health care clinic do this. So I was not able to talk to the nurse or doc or fill my prescription.
