We paid $2,000 to this company for them to service our pool as well as fix our pool filter and bring our new filters. Not only did they not show up appointment after appointment but they didn't feel like responding consistently to calls or texts after we paid them the money. Robert showed up for only 1 appointment and made an excuse for missing every other appointment. Trinity just ignored messages or gave me the same excuses as to why they wouldn't be out. (We were told our item was in stock then back ordered them in stock then back ordered again.) After almost a month of little to no communication and no servicing, we got an email this morning saying they would no longer be servicing our pool or fixing our pump. read more

I'm not sure what happened but it's been weeks and I haven't heard from anyone. The phone number is disconnected. If they are going through a change and need to pause the service that's fine but I paid for the month of august and no one has shown up. Our pool is now green and I don't even know how to get our money back. I'm so disappointed and honestly sad that a company could take our money and then just ditch their customers. Things were going good with this company until the last month or so. If you are a current customer then you probably experienced the same thing I did which is missed appointments and ignored phone calls, emails, texts, etc. I paid my August bill and just had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I hope to get my money back. If you are a current customer don't pay any more invoices with them! read more

I'm reporting DPC to the BBB. I established maintenance service with them in June, they serviced a few times, replaced my pool pump and then they went radio silent. I purchased new pentair LED lights from DPC in full but they failed to install. I've been unable to get in touch with them via phone or email for weeks. The most concerning is that the last 4 digits of the CC on my invoice don't match the last 4 digits on my CC. Pool cleaners are a dime a dozen in Vegas, find a reputable company even if you have to pay a little more. DPC isn't worth the hassle. read more

As the others said, was good for about a month and then they didn't show, the first time they said it was staff issues so we were very patient, but then after still not showing they never communicated again, we called, we emailed, we texted, absolutely no reply, and this was right after we paid them in full for the upcoming month. So our pool turned dark green, had to get a new place that worked their butts off to correct the problems this company left us with. After a good month of fighting to get our money back from them thru our bank, we were awarded it. Definitely would not ever recommend them. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this business. Johnny came and replaced all the pipes less than a week from when he gave me an estimate. He walked me through all the knobs and functions of every piece and even suggested I take a video of him explaining it all. 5 stars across the board for me! read more

Nope I didn't get my refund and also notification to regular customers should've been sent out prior to take auto payment not month after closing the business and after complaint. I however do understand it's never fun to close a business so don't bother with refund at this point it's been 6 months and I've moved on from this situation and wanna forget about it not being upset anymore read more

My pool pump all of a sudden just stopped running. I found a company at yelp "Desert Pool Co" so I called them up to schedule an appointment. The repair man came to replace the pump with a brand new one. The following day I noticed there's a leak so I called them up to fix the leak. I checked the pump the next day and it's still leaking so I called again to tell them about it. I was told that this time they will charge me to fix the leak which is absurd. It's more than 3 weeks now since "Desert Pool" installed the pump and they just totally abandoned the project and never heard from them. I made a big mistake picking that company to do business with. read more

Johnny came to my home to evaluate the issues that I had been having. he looked at my solar pool system and ruled that out. he did little testing and asked probing questions. came to realize it was my filter cartridges being bad even though they are not as old. he even stated he put money on it. I ended up putting new filter cartridges, and sure enough, it solved my problems that i couldn't figure out. i was so glad I chose this company because other companies would charge me for a service call just to come out and evaluate. Took days to respond to messages, broke multiple deadline promises for repair, pool cleaners just stopped showing up entirely, and finally canceled our order entirely after weeks of dragging us along, all the while our pool has fallen further into disrepair. Is now refusing to compensate us for the additional costs that we will now have to pay to fix our pool that is a direct result of waiting for them to fix it. They're currently under going a "temporary halt in operations", their website is taken offline, and I could not find a business license for them either. Pretty sure we got scammed. read more

Amazing level of service provided. I'm new to pool ownership and had a simple problem getting my pump restarted. Johnny took time out of his Sunday morning to walk me through it over the phone and when I still couldn't get it going he showed up asap and fixed my problem. Shoddy workmanship, poor business practices and customer care. I know this is long review but well worth the read. I had Johnny, the owner of Desert Pool Co, do a quote on a repair of my pool equipment. I needed non-functional equipment removed and inline cleaner added. He told me the cleaner equipment would not fit due to space constraints but he would remove the obsolete equipment and replace my heat sensor for $450. I asked what would it be to just have my heat sensor replaced and he quoted $100. On the day of repair we found the heat sensor was functional and would not require replacement. I pointed out by reading the instructions and looking at photos of the cleaner installation, the cleaner would in fact fit my equipment if the instructions were actually followed. He agreed to install the cleaner but we did not discuss the additional cost at that time. I had checked on him prior to installation of the cleaner equipment when I had a call I needed to take. The call lasted less than 30 minutes. I promptly went back to check of Johnny and the work. He had already finished the installation, cleaned up and left the site. On initial inspection the work appeared to be complete other than a few things did not quite meet expectations. The pool deck he had left my cover off to the water fill valve and he did not adjust back my pool fill float. He had also removed a silicone cap over a conduit line for repairs and during the course of his repairs let it fill up with water. They emailed my bill for $600 later that evening. It seemed high given the numbers we had previously discussed. I figured the quoted $100 dollars should have been deducted for the heat sensor that was not repaired. I called the owner to discuss the bill and to pay the appropriate amount owed. I asked about how much the installation of the pool cleaner added to the bill. He told me $150 and that added to his bid of $450 equaled the $600 bill. I than reminded him that the bid included the removal and replacement of the water heat sensor and that I wanted that subtracted from the overall bill as that work was not done. I reminded him of his quote $100 for that repair and his $600 bill minus the $100 for work not completed should be $500. He did not agree with that and told me that he could not go that low for his repairs. I asked what he thought was fair and he told me the full $600. He stated the cost of the part and time required for the heat sensor repair was low and that just because he said it would be $100 for that repair that did not equal $100 of his overall quote. I offered what I thought was more than fair, meeting me halfway between the discrepancy at $550. He said no way and that if I insisted he would be willing to deduct $10, his cost, for the part that was not installed but that was all he was willing to do. We ended the conversation at odds in our positions on what was a fair payment. Within an hour Desert Pool Co texted me 5 times, called twice and emailed me. The calls were followed with text threatening civil action and additional fees if I did not pay in full immediately. I responded that I would mail in my payment. They answered they do not accept payments in the mail. Shortly after this rapid escalation of payment demands the owner texted that he would be willing to meet me at the $550 amount that I had previously offered and that this 'isn't cool'. I agreed to terms and promptly paid him. The next day I checked the operation of the pool equipment. Upon closer inspection of repairs I noticed that the replaced valve was not in the same location as the previous one and now was higher as well as too close to an adjacent valve. Due to the improper placement, the actuators could not properly reseat next to one another. He has one actuator leaning on the other in a cockeye fashion. Due to the ill placement of the actuator, he had to bypass the 2 of the mounting screws and did not attach them to the actuator frame as they were designed. Due to his high valve placement he compensated for this mistake by cutting and raising 3 addition pipes to match his poor placement of the valve. One of his plumbing joint leaks due to the poor alignment. I notified Desert Pool Co of the misaligned actuators which he clearly would have known about (Might explain the disappearing act and rapid escalation on demand of payment). And how they were not fitted per manufacturer's recommendation (I called the manufacturer). I also notified them of the leak. They answered 'we've opted to no longer do business with you of any kind after the events that occurred yesterday.' In a follow up text he said 'If you're feeling up to doing it yourself, you can get a handsaw, PVC primer, and a 2" coupler at Home Deport for around $50.' My pool equipment is worse than before he 'worked' on it. I've paid him $550 and Desert Pool Co refuses to stand by Johnny, the owner's work citing the previous payment escalation/discrepancy. read more

I'm a first time homeowner and at the time of closing, the pool of the home I purchased accumulated a lot of algae. I've been using Desert Pool Company to help me revive the pool and they're doing a great job; they're able to not drain the pool and waste all that water, after two weeks of chemical treatments and filtering, the pool is almost back to being blue. They have been very responsive with their communication, and timely with every visit so far. Johnny was super helpful with explaining to me everything that they were doing and explained to me my equipment; as a first time homeowner who never had a pool before, that's invaluable. Johnny also took a look at my filters and other equipment, and just demonstrated a lot of care for my pool as if it were his own. I also met Dash and he's very knowledgeable as well, I'm glad to have him as my regular pool guy. He cancelled the service after taking the money and never refunded the money back. That is STEALING! They are no different than a SCAMMER!
