It won't let me download the video but water is coming from the pipe horizontally and from the base

We were recently told by pool era that they could no longer service our pool due to price increases. Which we completely understand. I am extremely disappointed in the fact that they left us with faulty equipment. I have been asking for over a month to get a leak fixed that has been occurring I was told it wasn't to serious and that the filters needed to be cleaned. Filters are cleaned and the equipment is still not working properly. I reached out to Jonathan a few days ago asking if they could please fix the equipment that was meant to be fixed prior to them ending our services. Just to be ignored. Now I am being told from a different person that the plumbing needs to be replaced. This equipment was just installed less than 6 months ago! Are there any honest people left in this city! Update on review: Another pool company rebel pool just finished fixing the plumbing. He told me that the system that was put in by Pool Era is not even zoned for our area! Also, it should have never been installed because we do not have a back wash hook up. When the system needs to be back washed our entire side yard will be full of water. Now we are out even more money because the right system was not installed.

This was and is a service that was free to me as a renter that I now will gladly pay to have done by someone else. This is how bad this company is. It all started with me walking outside to find the hot tub empty on the one night in recent months I wanted to soak. after that issue resolved. found algae in all sectors of the pool in and my heater turned on by them (pool was shut down for winter) causing my gas bill to jump to $400. When called to talk to the owner about this and the fact that we again the following week still had algae. He blamed everything on me. I know for a fact that I had not touched anything and yet he was both rude and condescending. I was not asking for my money back on the gas. just competent service I/E someone else that he had. It was unbelievable the level of unprofessionalism this "Owner" displayed to me.

Jonathan has been really honest and reliable from when he first started to service our pool. From small repairs to acid washing, they do it all. It looks amazing and we will always recommend him to our friends and family members.

And the dirt didn't seem to be taken up no matter how much I swept it to the intakes. I was able to book an appointment with Excellent Pool Services and I explained I have the filters, o ring, and lube, just need the muscle to put the filter container back together again. Anderson was my technician and you'll see the old and new filters. Gross doesn't even come close. He cleaned out the bottom half and I got the top half. He pulled the drain plug and cleared all the assembly pieces. He totally cleared where the o ring sits. Recommended that I replace the 2 piece valve that sits on top and which piece uses plumbers tape and which doesn't and why. And that's for starters! My pool test strips-nope. Get the test that uses the liquids. Chlorine tablets-nope. Use the liquid type made for pools. Not household stuff for those who are new to pools. He told me how to clear the calcium ring around my pool from using chemicals that a chain pool place told me to use. A pumice stone. He told me where I can go to get parts and supplies. I feel like I am in class and I surely needed to take notes! He recommended that I not cover the pool in winter. I have tried so many ways to do so and now I know to not use chlorine and just keep the pool clean. I know I have the right company when their technician takes the time to explain the how's and why's to take care of your pool. I'm not good at the difference in the acids but i have the wrong kind at the moment. I'll get the right kind for sure. I found out mine is a fiberglass pool. I knew it wasn't vinyl but I would've guessed concrete. My pool water is circulating with power now. Its got new chlorine liquid working its magic right now. I'm going out to scrub my walls again and get this pool cleaned up fully so I can test it and get IN it!!! Its hot out here!!! Anyone who takes the time to explain whats what to help you maintain this wonderful yard accessory is A OK in my book. Thank y'all so much. I now have a company to help me when I need it!!! Thank you Yelpers for recommending!!!

The young man who came out was polite and explained everything. I told him another pool company wasn't able to get me in until late Sunday. This was Friday evening 6pm and his response was: "Sunday? I was relieved that we didn't have to worry about the pool having no filter for over 2 days!!

The main thing is the rock wall. The job they did started rusting in under a month. Then the attempt to water seal the concrete left an eye sore and also dripped into the pool and on the tiles. I had to fix all of that myself because the more they tried to fix things the worse it got. The pipes for the waterfall leak inside and behind the wall causing white streaks everywhere. And in terms of time to complete, it was not great. Took nearly a month and a half because they would sometimes not come for a week at a time often without communication for days on end. The overall construction of the rock wall is not good or what was advertised in the quote. It looks very amateur and the structural issues will ensure that I will have issues now and down the line. I had to intervene several times and it still missed the mark. On the good side their prices are competitive and basic plastering and tiling seems to be alright so far, but I wouldn't use or reach out to them again. Nobody should expect their pool to look like this weeks after paying for a remodel.

Several of our neighbors have started using them as well after seeing the results, and everyone has been very happy. If you're looking for a reliable pool service, save yourself the time and frustration and have them come out for a quote. I think you'll find their pricing to be fair, affordable, and completely transparent. One thing I especially appreciate is that they don't leave your pool pump running for eight hours a day to make their job easier and increase your electricity bill. They do the job the right way and genuinely look out for their customers. I highly recommend Priority Pool Service to anyone looking for honest, dependable, high quality pool service.

In that time: * The heater has failed twice (and is currently not working again) * The chlorinator has been replaced * The pool lights have been replaced twice * The silver quartz finish already looks stained and bleached Maybe some of this is poor Hayward Industries equipment, but it's hard to know because the service tech changes constantly -- about every 6 weeks -- so there's zero accountability or continuity. This is a saltwater pool, yet instead of properly diagnosing or maintaining the chlorinator system, they routinely dump gallons of liquid chlorine into the pool every week. Actual "service" often feels limited to: * Emptying the leaf basket * Lightly brushing the pool * Adding chemicals And nearly everything beyond that becomes an extra charge: * Chemicals? Extra. * Filter cleaning? Extra. * Repairs? Extra. * Someone coming out because the system they maintain stopped working? Extra. Worse, many of the techs seemed unfamiliar with how the equipment even operates, making service calls frustrating and unproductive. What really bothered me was adding up the actual cost over three years. Once you include all the side charges, repair calls, chemical add-ons, and maintenance fees, the true cost is easily several times higher than the advertised "weekly service" price. The marketing and online reputation look polished, but our real-world experience has been expensive, inconsistent, and lacking accountability.

-- Extremely Disappointed and Frustrated…read more I rarely write reviews, but I feel a responsibility to warn other homeowners about my experience with Big George's Pool Care. After a detailed and explicit conversation with the owner about not cleaning the filters on the road (due to HOA rules and the mess it leaves behind for me and my neighbors), they completely disregarded my request and did it anyway. This was not only disrespectful but also a clear violation of our community guidelines--something I made very clear upfront. On top of that, my spa was clogged for over a month, which I had to constantly bring to their attention. The clog caused a severe calcium buildup that destroyed the look of my tile. Instead of taking accountability, the owner brushed it off with, "Calcium builds up over time," and said I would need to pay another companymore to remove it. That's not just poor service--it's negligent. I've lived in my home for 7 years and never had buildup like this. My previous pool service would catch early signs and make recommendations before it got out of hand. Big George's took no such proactive care. Now I'm left with a spa that's downright ugly and embarrassing, and frankly, I feel taken advantage of. What was supposed to be regular pool maintenance turned into a costly headache. This is not professional service. This is a warning to anyone considering Big George's Pool Care: look elsewhere unless you want to clean up after them--literally and financially.
