I contracted with this company recently and primarily worked with Alex. The scope of work consisted of pavers, preparing the yard for seeding, assessing the existing sprinklers and adjusting as needed, and finally seeding and irrigating controls. Once the scope of work was confirmed and pricing settled, entering into a contract was made simple, as well making the deposit and residual payment. The company finished ahead of the anticipated schedule and actually went above and beyond by addressing other aesthetic items that I originally did not include in my scope, just to made the yard look complete. I wanted to leave a quick review about a recent project completed by Paloma's: I had asked for a quote to create a dog run, I had a specific budget in mind and Alex not only met my expectations but exceeded them. What I asked for: remove existing plants and install grass What he delivered: removed plants and installed sod but also added a beautiful river rock border and repurposed stepping stones to make a paver patio with crushed rock. And he did this all for the same price as the plant removal and sod! He also had his crew remove several large items that I needed to send to the dump. Wow, is the only word I have for what Paloma's Water & Dirt did on my front, side, and back yards. From the moment I met Alex, to the final day of work, I was beyond impressed with him. I don't know if he is an owner of the company, but his personal ownership of the job made me think he was, or if he isn't he should be. He was thoughtful, creative, customer-focused, professional, and kind throughout the entire project. He pulled me off the ceiling a few times with grace and professionalism. He took my vision and made it a reality. On more than one occasion he went "above and beyond" to meet my expectations. He is an impressive young man and I think Paloma's is fortunate to have such an outstanding representative of the company, in Alex. He wasn't above getting in there with the crew and work hard along side of them, which just reinforced for me his commitment to the project and to Paloma's. I've already given his name out to several neighbors. Thank you again, Alex. All the crews were hard-working and competent. However, there are a few notable standouts; for one, supervisor Greg, who came after hours on multiple occasions to water the cement and to ensure the work level was thorough and of high-quality. On several occasions, Greg would knock on my door and he would explain to me what was happening and what I could expect to see. He too was professional and kind. In addition, I'd like to give a huge shoutout to Christian and Gabriel. What a couple of hard-workers these two are!! Seriously, I observed them on multiple occasions and they never let up. Whether they were digging holes, putting in irrigation pipes, shoveling and moving rock, they just kept working. They would take a minimal break to eat lunch, but then went right back to working hard. A couple of weeks during the project, the temperatures were in the 90s and/or 100 degree temperatures, but they seemed to have one mode and that was "beast" mode. Haha! And, they were professional, thoughtful, and kind as well. Every Monday they would move my trash bins so they wouldn't be missed by the trash vehicles, which I appreciated so much. Lastly, I am just so impressed by the whole Paloma's team. They do good work for a reasonable price. Sure, it was a lot of money, but I can say with absolute certainty, I don't regret spending one penny on it. I am beyond pleased with the final result. They scheduled me and completed the work right on time - arrived, mobilized and cleaned up in about an hour. No excuses, no delays. The guys were professional and left everything better than when they started. Alex provided options to give me maximum flexibility between cost and benefit. He even told me that the palm trees in our area don't survive well, if we wanted to remove it. And the pricing was very competitive. It was the lowest among the folks that responded to the request. My wife and I experienced a lot of damage from the recent hurricane and our front yard was just a mess! I contacted the business and spoke with Alex who immediately showed the amazing customer service. It wasnt long after that he arrived to take a look and see what types of ideas we had. Not only did he see our vision but he also helped us to make better choices for the future as well. Our yard has a steep slope which flushes a large amount of our dirt away whenever it rains. He came up with a brilliant suggestion to install drain pipes in the problem areas to prevent that from happening again. They installed a few of them and they look so professionally done you would think it came with the house. In addition to that, he helped us to really freshen up our landscape. He made great recommendations for different types of plants and flowers that not only look great but would survive in our hot environment. We loved how beautiful the Bougainvillea was along the walls of the backyard, but they were just high maintenance. Sadly, it was time to let them go. I don't understand why this company doesn't have more reviews. We had a great experience! We moved into a new development and our backyard was one big dirt lot. Without having experience in landscape design we needed someone that would walk through the design process with us. Alex and Greg did just that. We gave them an idea of what we wanted and they guided us by making suggestions and working with our budget. They even helped us fill out the HOA application and worked (successfully) on a tight deadline (caused by the HOA's delayed approval). They were prompt in their responses and always provided samples of the materials. The line of communication was always open on what was next and the men that worked for them were kind, respectful, and kept our property clean after their work was completed for the day. The work they completed for us was: pavers (3rd driveway, side yard, and back patio), installed artificial grass, planted trees and shrubs, and built a shade structure. I have to add that on the very last day/task I came home right as the patio guys were about to leave. Oscar asked if I wanted to check out the patio before they left so I did. As we walked back to the front of the house, we could hear the air seeping out of my tire. I wanted to quickly drive to the nearest repair shop but Oscar insisted I wouldn't make it. He stayed to change my tire so I could safely make it to a repair shop. It was not his job nor his responsibility and yet he did it. That is a reflection of the company. I'll end with this... we have cameras in the front and often catch people checking out their work. We even had a neighbor stop by to ask for their information. It's that good! read more

About four months ago I reached out to a contractor to do some pavers for my backyard, and being so busy he told me that he can do it in August. When I called him back he never returned my calls or my texts. I was a little upset because now I was back to square one and trying to find a contractor who is reliable. One morning I was returning back from the dog park and I saw a truck across the street with his business name on his truck. He introduced himself & he came to my backyard and gave me an estimate of what it would cost. It was a little bit more than my first quote but knew he was trust worthy. He came the next day to lay out everything and within three days the work was complete. I am very happy with Paloma's water and dirt. I'm so glad that I met Greg who is the contractor.
