There was plenty of parking right out front, and the facility itself was very clean and well-organized. The staff were all friendly, professional, and made the check-in process easy. My appointment was at 12:30, and I arrived around 12:00, but I didn't get called back until a little after 1:00. The wait was longer than I expected, especially since I came early. However, once I was taken back, the tech made me feel comfortable and explained everything clearly, which I really appreciated. It has taken three phone calls for staff to actually find my ultrasound referral. Once it was found, I was asked (forced) to give an explanation or would not be able to receive the ultrasound. I've been using this facility for approximately 10yrs, and this is the first time I have encountered an issue. First, they could not find the referral for the ultrasound, then (while on hold) was hung up on, then I had to fully explain why the ultrasound was necessary. After all of this nonsense, the only appointment was an appointment 4 days before my schedule Dr appointment. I'm sorry, but what world do you live in and expect any doctor to receive the accurate results in less than 4 days. Shame on you. read more

Surprisingly I was called in just 2 minutes after I turned in my paperwork, which wasnt much to fill out. I was not a patient with them, but I did walk in to inquire a little more on the hiring process on how to become a tech with them . It can be scary trying to pick a school & not knowing if that schools accreditation will get accepted by certain facilites . Two managers , the tech manager (I think. Her name is Christy. Short for Christina? ) WAS WONDERFUL !!!!! That beautiful human being decided to take time out of her day to talk to me a little bit more about becoming a tech . Which left me pleasantly surprised given the fact that waiting rooms are notorious for having their patients wait seemingly never ending lengths of time. This was my first time getting a MRI. So I expressed that to the staff members on shift and they display perfect bedside manner. And made the experience as pleasant as humanly possible, which I am greatly appreciative of. read more

It took me 38 mins to just schedule an appointment. That is absolutely ridiculous and very frustrating

I scheduled an appointment visit using their scheduling center which was probably outsourced from a different country. They asked for the usual personal information, insurance information, etc. I asked if they accept my insurance and I was told, "yes". They gave me the appointment. I showed up to my appointment a few weeks later to find out that the DO NOT accept my insurance. I appreciate the fact that told me that but they could have done that before my actual appointment. This is not a review for this specific location. This review is for the call enter that you have to deal with when you make appointments. It's probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Reading off of a script, not paying attention to what you are actually saying; and then if you ask them a question they don't understand, they suddenly will be "unable to hear you". They always claim that they don't have the referral for the order, and then they try to blame the physicians office. I would rather go in person , to make the appointment, but they don't allow that, so you are literally stuck dealing with this call center. read more

Brought my grandmother for a check up. I was worried because she has trouble by herself and they made me wait out in the waiting room. Staff are very helpful, they even came back out to notify me of what was going on and how much time it would take. Parking is easy with many handicap parking and easy access inside. Waiting room is well kept and for having around 25 patients in the waiting room it was quiet. They follow Covid protocol and require masks to be warn. They are polite and offer masks to patients without one upon entry. read more

This review does not apply the techs at this location, they were professional and efficient. The third party scheduling and billing folks are absolutely atrocious. You can spend up to half an hour trying to schedule an appt, struggling with someone who can barely speak or understand English. Same goes for billing. I was overcharged for my exam and when I called billing to get a refund they tell me it has to go for review and will take 45 days. What review is needed? It's called an Explanation of Benefits, says clearly on it what you have to pay! Don't bother to email, there will be no response from that at all. Never again. read more

My 2nd time here. Its the annual mammogram. Ladies get it done and dont put it off. Easy check-in process. You are escorted to the changing room, and you can lock up your belongings while you take your exam. Friendly staff. Hard working. Keep it up ladies! read more

I brought my 90 year old friend here from an X-ray on her knee. My concern is she is on a walker and there was no handicap parking and no place without a curb that she could use and she had great difficulty getting up on curb. Excellent care. I am a retired radiologist from Michigan who has retired in Las Vegas. I had ultrasound procedures performed by a personable and knowledgeable Ultrasound tech , Melissa at the Cimarron facility. If I'm still working as a radiologist, I would hire this very professional person. She's an asset to her company. My only negative criticism about Desert Radiology is the difficulty making appointments. Nobody answers the phone to take the appointments. It's not the closest location to me, as they have a few locations, but it was the only one I could get an appt early enough. My appt was at 12:40pm on a Friday. I got there a bit early at 12:10pm and checked in. I'm scheduled for a mammogram. I was called in about 10mins back to process additional items for my check-in. There was some notes on my referral that may require additional diagnostic which I did not require. I shared where I had my last mammogram in California so they can call and get additional info. I was asked to wait a bit more. I didn't realized as I waited, the technician called the location for the last mammogram and got the detailed result and additional information. Joan wanted to be very thorough to provide me the correct imagining the referral needed. When I was called back by Joan, she explained everything she did to get past result. And she thoroughly told me how she'll take all the images and why. She was gentle and very understanding. I so appreciate it. By that evening, I received an email of my result already. Definitely will be keeping this location in my contact as my go -to if I or my family ever need it. read more

I used Desert Radiology last year and was very happy with their services. This year, I tried making an appointment and they have a new system. I have tried several times to make an appointment, and the three times I did connect with someone, there was at least a 25 minute wait (as seen in the screen shots). Once, after a 25 minute wait, the gentleman said he couldn't hear me and hung up on me. I finally was able to make an appointment and the day of, it was cancelled due to the machine being down. Understandable, but I had to call again and wait for 30 minutes before being told the next available in one month. I tried walking in to the office for help and there is a big sign on the door saying they can't make appointments in person and to call. Well, I called again and hung up after 10 minutes, without being helped. So, I got online to order my records so I can be seen somewhere else and that was a very confusing process. Avoid this place at all cost! We waited for an hour and a half to get called back for service, even though we were on time for our arrival. In addition, the place is severely overcrowded and filthy! My experience at the office is always great. Making my co payment before I receive a treatment is always the protocol each time, which is given. But now I have a real big issue with the billing department for the desert radiology who I believe is called the radiology partners. They have sent me a bill for the last 5 months, for the same bill that I paid for on the time of service. Even though I called to let them know 3 times, that it was paid with the Amex including the posting code. Each time I got the same response, it will get escalated. Now I received a final notice bill!! Desert Radiology should fire this new billing department because they are doing a very poor job. read more

This location was good they were friendly staff and since it was early morning they had no other patient. The staff was friendly in the back office too. I felt they are knowledgeable of what they are doing. From the check in to bring to the back. The support staff is also helpful knowing when a parent needs help. I have been getting mammograms here for about 3 years now. I actually like the staff and facility itself, but I am going somewhere else this year. When my doctor's office asked if I would like to continue going here for my next appointment, I said actually no. Reason being is I remembered their nightmare of process in making an appointment. I recalled the struggle I had last year and previous years trying to make an appointment and its a very long and stressful ordeal. Getting through to someone takes an extremely long time with long holds, and when you finally do get through, the language barrier with the customer service agents is a challenge. I remember also being asked a million questions by the agent. So with that and not being able to easily understand each other, it was beyond frustrating. The process of making an appointment should be fairly swift and easy, but unfortunately here it is a disaster. I was on the phone for over an hour last time just for a simple appointment and I did not want to deal with that again. So for this reason alone I am going somewhere else this time. I strongly urge this company to figure out a better way for clients to make their appointments. read more

I guess it depends on which one you go to. The one on Smoke Ranch Road told my doctor that there was blood on my brain causing great consternation with my doctor telling me to go immediately to ER. Turns out it was the MRI tech's report, not a doctor at DR. The one on S. Cinnamon is ten miles from my house and my appointment is during Friday evening rush hour on 215. I think I'll try to find a new place to go. (Like Virginia where I was stupid and moved from.) read more
