Red Rock Radiology is without a doubt the best imaging center I have gone to since I moved here 4 years ago from CA. This imaging center is part of Mountain View hospital, an HCA hospital. The staff is wonderful! Very nice and professional, from scheduling, to checking in, to the technician, medical staff and the radiologist that read the imaging, which are very detailed in their readings. After trying other imaging places, I have decided to only go there. They also show compassion in how they treat their patients. read more

Their office is horrible. They are impossible to pay. They send a bill and then don't give any information on how to properly pay it. I scanned the mobile pay QR code. I went to the website directly. I called the number on the statement. I tried to pay directly through my bank. I used multiple different cards when I was able to actually reach a place to enter a card. Nothing worked. I finally took time to be transferred all around the world (multiple countries outside the US) to get transferred back to MV Hospital who gave me the number I was receiving texts from. (This was after I had already been transferred there twice previously). Skeptical - I tried. Another country outside the US. They took my payment. There is a good chance the funds will never be applied to my balance - but I am leaving it be for now - other than some reviews. I have a few more places to visit to leave the same review. Maybe they can read scans and x-rays - who knows. But they need a new administrative service. Or maybe none of them even realize their patients are having difficulty paying - because of their own problems. Not the patients'. read more

I cannot emphasize enough what a good experience we had at this place. I brought my mom in for an MRI and the lady who checked us in Maria heard me speaking Spanish to my mom, so she immediately took it upon herself to address her directly in Spanish, which was wonderful because the admin part is normally the most difficult for me to translate. The nurses, Kelly, and Liz were very sweet to my mom and extremely patient. Very clean and spacious. The changing rooms have a locker so you can put all of your stuff and secure it. As someone who has had to visit a lot of medical facilities as of late , I left feeling very grateful for how well my mom was treated. read more

NEVER received a bill, a call, a text, an email EVER!! When I asked for a bill, a signature or what I was 'supposed' to have been seen for, I received NOTHING. What they did do? I'm sure the actual radiology part is fine, but all the thumbs down for the billing department. Received a bill via TEXT even though they have my email address and home address. I tried contacting them. It took several phone calls but finally got someone to at least send me a paper bill. The company is called Red Rock Radiology. The return address on the bill is Radiology Partners based out of California, the actual bill is from Radiology Specialists Ltd. based in Las Vegas. No payment envelope. Went in for a cat scan. When to bathroom. Came out and technician berated me for breaking the rules and cancelled the procedure. Im 70 years old and she scoulded me like a child. Evidently my bladder was supposed to be full. I showed her 3 notifications for my appt and nowhere was that stated. The girls at the front desk were giggling about outfits and said nothing. Red Rock Radiology continuously sends us large bills for items that are covered by insurance, such as annual mammograms. I'm going to report for deceptive billing practices. They make the patient do extra time consuming and stressful work in order to correct their erroneous billing or they will report to collections and mess up credit as they did with my husband. Imagine the many people who do not advocate for themselves, elderly or less experienced patients who just get their incorrect, bloated bills and just pay them. This is very disturbing in these days of increased inflation. read more

My review addresses my experience with the inept office staff. If you are in required to use the services of this organization, be aware that the back office staff is incompetent. In particular, I am addressing the accounting and billing office whom I don't believe understand how their billing system actually work. Here is my experience. My wife received their services and underwent two procedures (on the same visit). As you would expect, we received a bill in the mail showing our account number and balance due. Since the amount due was rather large, I choose to make payments. After a few months of sending in checks, whereby they apportioned the payments across the two procedures (mind you they were the same day, same account number and reflected on the same invoices). I later decided to log into their payment system and set up an automatic monthly charge to pay off the remaining balance. For some reason, they decided to only apply the payment to one procedure and reflected the other as past due, eventually sending it to collection. I found out only after receiving a letter from collection. I called the billing office and spent over an hour explaining to the incompetent staff what happened and why it was their fault. They had no idea why the allocation of payments was changed nor could they explain why they treated my one account as if it were two accounts. They would not provide any allowance for the inconvenience or negative credit hit I will now receive. My recommendation if you are required to use their services is not to trust the billing. Review everything, keep all your records of payments and any conversations you have with the back office. Also, note you can be on an automatic payment plan and they may still send your account to collection as they did with mine. read more

I've been coming to Red Rock radiology on and off this year for x-rays and MRIs. People are too easy to write a bad review when they're mad or in pain, but many forget to write a positive review. Stacie, front desk, was warm, friendly, and professional. I had noticed in my health portal that an MRI result is missing, so she printed it out for me. Liz was the MRI technician who took me back. She was extremely professional and also friendly. I had called the day before explaining to the staff that laying on my stomach with my shoulder overhead had previously exacerbated some neck and arm issues. She explained an alternative position, but also brought it to my attention that the MRI results won't be nearly as clear as laying on my stomach. I ended up laying on my stomach and she provided additional support. She obviously is very knowledgeable about positioning and the body. After the MRI she noticed I had never had an x-ray of my hand, so she put a verbal order in and did an x-ray of my hand for the hand surgeon and insurance. Liz had me wait while she downloaded the disc of the MRI so I can bring it to my hand surgeon. My overall experience was a very pleasant one. I highly recommend Red Rock Radiology. read more

My wife went to Red Rock Radiology to have blood drawn for a procedure at Mountainview Hospital. I was not permitted in with her. I can understand that, . However,I waited in the car for over two hours??? I normally have blood drawn at CPL Labs and I am in and out in less than 15 minutes. I am not promoting CPL Labs, but complaining about Red Rock Radiology for terrible service. I tried calling Red Rock Radiology and was put on a hold that was never answered. On Aug 22, 2023 at 10:15 AM, Red Rock Radiology Technician Elizabeth Licea that front desk did not give me the copies of the work 4 pages. MRI Brain contest again. Why I have to sign in front of you. She said due to my age, they wanted to do blood test to check my kidneys. At MRI desk, inside with technician Elizabeth Licea that MRI test suddenly I must sign 4 pages and X-Ray from Spine lumber 2PAGES OF DR Thalgott. I asked why for IV, they she said so the machine can read with contrast. I have done several MRIs before (5 times). I never had to do contrast injection several times 5 different times all. On August 24, 2023, they did not give me copies of the paperwork I filed out on Aug 22, 2023. Eizabeth Licea instead gave me blank papers which is not what I requested. Then they said they do not have my paperwork and I would have to call medical records but phone number did not work. I kept trying but one hours later, they found my paperwork and gave them to me. On Aug 2, 2023, at 9:10 AM, Red Rock Radiology front desk messed up my CT scan of brain by sending it to my old doctor Edward Clark which I only saw one time. Front desk said you paid $100 with discount to front desk. I am suspicious why they wanted me to suddenly sign paperwork right before the MRI test. I do not know why front desk gave me injection during the MRI test. I also do not know why they give to me suddenly in front of the MRI machine. Last, other companies signed with an M.D. doctor. I wonder why Red Rock Radiology report was signed by Ronald F. Sauer D.O. and not an M.D doctor. On Oct 10, 2023, I went to Red Rock Radiology to ask for copies of the four pages of paperwork I filled out and signed on August 22, 2023. They said they do not have them anymore and they told to go to MountainView Hospital. I went to MountainView Hospital medical records office and the staff told me they do not have my paperwork I filled out at Red Rock Radiology either, only images and final reports of my MRI and CT scan. The MountainView Hospital staff explained to me that Red Rock Radiology has all my paperwork I filled out and they were surprised that Red Rock Radiology staff does not have any of my paperwork, that I filled out. They should have all my paperwork that I filled out. I have done several MRIs before (5 times). I never had to do contrast injection at all. I am missing 4 pages of my paperwork I filled out at Red Rock: 1. Diagnostic Imaging History Sheet 2. Consent MR Contrast Mod-severe Kidney Disease consent form (two pages). 3. Magnetic Resonance (MRI Procedure Screening Form for Patients. (Front and back)). I believed That Red Rock Radiology of Elizabeth Licea came to front desk steps with them all together record. I told them another radiology office kept my records for 7 years long time, and that other radiology office gave them to me. I am suspicious that they're hiding records for something. After Elizabeth Licea did 2 injection shots in my arm, my spine lumber is very bad and hurting. Elizabeth Licea must be injection and MRI cannot read my brain properly. She said one is kidney and other is during inside MRI test when I laid down. Kidney test is within normal limits at PMI in Dec 5, 2022. My brain MRI test to injection cover up that St.Rose Hospital in 2016, to stop speaking English. I cannot speak English since 2016. I believe the injection by Elizabeth Licea made my health worse and I believe she is affiliated with St Rose hospital. I will never ever recommend Red Rock Radiology to anyone. read more

Red Rock Radiology told me 30 minutes into me being there for my appointment that they couldn't take me for my scheduled CT scan because they forgot to submit pre-approval paperwork to my insurance. They are only allowed to take you if your insurance agrees, and the scan would've costed over $2,000. I walked over to Las Vegas Radiology nearby who scheduled me in for the next morning. Same scan costed $150 not using insurance. The Red Rock Radiology staff were pleasant at least. read more

Their billing department is useless. They have been billing for payments they received from the insurance company since October of 2023. I have provided them with proof from the insurance comany that they were already paid and their response was to turn the bill over to collections. It took six months for the collection agency to remove the bill from collection but they still want me to pay them. As far as I can determine the problem is that they double billed blue cross blue shield in both Texas and Nevada and bc/bs of Texas recouped their payment and because of that they decided they were not paid even though they were paid twice. The collection agency deleted the bill after six months of trashing my credit record but they still insist they want their miney. Their answer to the proof I provided them from the insurance company was its wrong, no explanation, since it disagrees with our bogus billing it must be wrong. If you happen to get x-rays at Mountain View Hospital check your bill from them very carefully. read more

was admitted ICU at Mt View Hospital, during my emergency, Red Rock Radiology did some tests. About 2 yrs later, I received a bill from Plus Four, INC for $1100.75. I called collection, gave me run around, called RedRock Radiology- couldn't explain much! Called United Healthcare- never received this claim. Went to Mt View Hosp. which houses RedRock Radiology/they don't do billing for them, no support there! Employee at Plus Four told me the name of healthcare claim was submitted to Sierra Senior Dimensions, no wonder claim was denied! Hospital had my insurance info since UHC paid over $90 grand for my stay! Got address for RRRadiology to submit claim, UHC said claim was never submitted, this is outrageous. Now my good credit is blemished. I believe this was a scam to get more $ than what insurance co. would pay for allowable amt. I am not giving in to this, until I found the help i need! Red Rock Radiology used to be my go-to whenever I needed an x-ray. I was always treated well, and the staff was great, and the technicians uber competent. I stopped using them only as a protest. After they were taken over by Mountain View Hospital, the price of a simple x-ray, which previously had cost $47, skyrocketed by over 800%! I am very fortunate to be covered by several health insurance plans. The x-ray cost me nothing, but I nearly fainted when I got the EOBs from my insurance companies. Naturally, they didn't collect anywhere near what they billed, but they did get much more than before. Ergo, my protest. When insurance has to pay out overly-inflated prices, everyone suffers. But fast forward a couple of years. I had some unpleasant experiences with three of the other nearby radiology places, mostly due to incompetent technicians who made me wait after taking an x-ray, then had to re-take it because it didn't come out right. So when it came time for my yearly boob-crusher, I bit the bullet and went back to Red Rock. And I'm happy to report that it was a breeze: quick, efficient registration, friendly staff, technician who completed the job in one take - no waiting afterward. In and out quickly and on my way. I would love to give them five stars. But, even though I don't think they charge uninsured patients as much as those of us with insurance, the hospital ownership makes me believe that they are priced much higher than other places. I'd love to be able to compare, but since I can't, I'm taking off that extra star. On the other hand, sometimes you get what you pay for. If you are insured, they're a winner. read more

After being diagnosed with a serious illness in May of 2019, my mom needed to find a radiology center to get further testing. I can count on two hands double the number of visits she's had at Red Rock Radiology- everything from simple blood draws to CT scans and even abdominal fluid removal. This journey hasn't been easy but I can say the team here has always been professional, friendly, and great at putting my momat ease with great bedside manners and light humor. Recently had my first appointment here for an MRI. I was truly nervous at first because of this whole COVID but they definitely take extra precautions when you first walk in. They have flipped seats over so you can be distant from others. When I was there, I had to wait by the door and they asked me to sanitized my hands. I did have gloves on because of cuts I had. She kindly asked me to take them off and I showed her my hands then she gave me new ones to protect them. I love that! I didn't wait to long to go in to get my procedure done. They took me into another waiting area in the back where they had HDTV on which was another plus for me lol! The tech came and took me into another room to put an IV line in me. That took awhile because she couldn't get my veins which got me nervous but it happens. While I was waiting, I seen one of the other rooms being heavily cleaned for the next person which made me feel more comfortable. They do take care of their patients and make sure their facility is clean. I would recommend this place! Everyone is nice and it was better then I expected. The procedure was a SUCCESS, kidney's working fine, just had my yearly scans. My appointment was early in the morning, in the middle of the week and I was greeted by friendly staff and my wait time was about 5 minutes. As a cash paying client, I was required to pay up front before I had my x-rays done. Because this company is somehow affiliated with a hospital I had to complete a copious amount of unnecessary documents covering the Hospitals butt (not mine) and for that reason they lost a star for wasting my time. As a side note, I learned that they offer Mammograms to cash paying customers in May & October for only $75.00. I found the Radiology Technician lovely to deal with and would happily do business with her again. read more

ttis place needs another person that handles PIC lines. a week, cant get an appointment, cant get in contact with anyone since the same person that does the procedure also answers the phone and makes appointments. the "appointments" is her calling you and leaving a voice mail to come in at "blank" time, whether youre available or not. when you call to change the appointment all you get is voice mail. 4 days and still havent spoken to anyone that handles this area of services. if you call the speciality scheduling phone #, you get transferred back to the one person that does the procedure and thats a voice mail. im dealing with 7 doctors, not just you. looking for new service. read more

If you need a mammogram with an ultrasound, do not go to Red Rock Radiology. The mammogram is free, but they will charge you $500 for the ultrasound. If you go to other stand-alone imaging places, it will cost you $25 for the same procedure. I have had two prior ultrasounds at Red Rock Radiology and each one cost me $25. Today I went to have a third, and when my insurance company told them I have a $25 copay, the Red Rock representative told my insurance company that they are a division of MountainView Hospital, and so, therefore, I must meet my $500 copay and pay 20 percent, costing me $566 for a procedure that Steinberg, Desert Radiologists, Pueblo Imaging, etc., will do for a $25 copay. So beware people. MVH must need money badly if they're willing to overcharge their patients in this way I went on the Secretary of State website and checked the state business license listing, and Red Rock Radiology has a business license as a separate entity. If they were truly a part of MountainView Hospital, they would not need a separate business license. So this is just another way for a big corporation to take advantage of people who are already having medical problems. Make sure to find out what they're going to charge you before you go and be aware that under most insurance policies, a lot of these radiology tests are diagnostic and are treated the same as an X-ray, and all you will owe is your copay of $25 or whatever yours happens to be. Be proactive because trying to contact anyone of importance after you've been treated unfairly is virtually impossible. read more
