Josh and his crew showed up at 7:30 AM. Josh went over everything while his crew was putting down protective coverings and building their work station. I let them do their work and I stayed out of their way. They took my double 8' doors off their hinges and brought then to their work station. They put plastic over the door opening, so bugs would not fly in & air conditioning would no go out. They chemically stripped off all the old urethane and stain. They got to bare wood and began to sand, patch and repair. What they do is very labor intensive besides having the right knowledge and tools. Josh kept everyone working, while he was working. They were like a drill team, each doing their own job. I had to wait 5 weeks in order to get them, but the time went by and the results were worth the wait. I could not have done what they did and I am mechanically minded. They were not cheap, but worth it. They asked for no money up front, just a payment in full when the job was done. I called to set up an estimate. They asked for pictures both inside and out of the door. Within 12 hours I received an estimate with stain colors and a time frame for the work. We scheduled the work for a few days later. The work crew of 3 showed up on time, we discussed color and finish type. They removed the door and closed the opening the plastic. They set up a work area under a canopy in the street in front of my house. While the crew leader stripped the finish off the door the other two stripped and sanded the frame and side lights in the door way. It took shout 6 hours total and the end result is amazing. After a visit from Bill, he took pictures back and, three days later I had a quote (not an estimate). I accepted the quote and scheduled the service.
