Incredible ambiance and super strong drinks! Also, great happy hour and late night happy hour deals. Will definitely be coming back.

@desertsocialdenver is such a great spot to enjoy drinks and cool off in this Denver heatwave. I used my Denver @passportprogram for buy 1, get 1 Agua de Casas along with an Aloe Margarita and a Pocket Change. Agua De Casa (Refreshing like a spa water, Cooling like a cucumber. Think: spa water meets ranch water; bubbles. Mezcal Derrumbes San Luis Potosí, Chareau, lime, Topo Chico) Aloe Margarita (We combine house-made hibiscus tea with an aloe plant based spirit. Add tequila and you've got a perfectly fresh, sweet, and tart margarita; Chareau, Ocho tequila blanco, hibiscus, lime) Pocket Change (A layered, velvety pineapple daiquiri. You'll get it all: smooth, sweet, tart ;Hamilton White 'Stache rum, elderflower, pineapple, lemon)

We were first time patrons and sat at the bar, but a peek at the patio area means we will definitely be back for that. We talked to Ivan and Patrick at the bar, and they were super welcoming. Ivan is a savant of mezcal, and my husband is also a huge fan of mezcal and its facts and history. Ivan was a wealth of new mezcal information, which we really loved. Also, the cocktails were tasty and unique!

While the decor here is very pretty, I doubt I will come back for drinks. We came here for drinks and the drinks were just about okay, they did not even look pretty. Service is just about alright. They have no food at all. Not appealing enough for me to come back.

Desert Social will take you to the beautiful, warm, desert while staying on S Broadway. The drinks are delicious and unique. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Clear margarita? Clearly! I had the mezcal version and it was great--not too sweet and not too bitter. And even though it was mezcal based not too smoky. And oh yeah, the vibe of the patio makes you feel like you are in Mexico or New Mexico or Arizona. Service is spot on. And even though it was 90 degrees it was comfortable. Love the misters, mister.

Desert Social is a little oasis on South Broadway. We arrived shortly after happy hour ended so it was pretty chill. The bar is stocked with excellent top shelf tequila brands with friendly bartenders. Their version of an espresso martini, Adelita's Espresso De Olla, is excellent. It's a rich blend of Chairman's Reserve Spiced Rum, Atőst Coffee Liquer, and Little Owl coffee with cinnamon, whole cane sugar, and egg white. Cool vibe and a great place to relax with friends.

Super charming cocktail lounge off of S Broadway. We got there at 4:30pm and it quickly filled up. The outside is completely unassuming, but when you walk in, it feels like you're transported to a boho desert chic resort. I had the Aloe Margarita and then the Agua Fresca. Both were well balanced and incredibly tasty. I'm not a huge mezcal fan yet I seem to get something with mezcal every time I go out. Maybe I'm trying to be cooler than I am? While the Agua Fresca has mezcal, it's a smooth mezcal so it tastes more like toasted vanilla rather than campfire. If you're looking for something unique, definitely give this place a try!

Loved the vibe here! Went on a Saturday night around 8pm and was able to find a place to sit right away. The menu looked great-- we started with the aloe margarita which according to our waitress is a crowd favorite. I loved it, super refreshing. I also had a Mexican Coke tequila drink that was really tasty if you're a Coca Cola lover. At one point the music got a lot louder but it was still easy to have a conversation. And our waitress was great!

This little bar has a really chic/hip vibe, but it is really hard to hear because of how it is built. Maybe I'm getting old, but I was practically yelling to my friend. I tried to get a dirty martini, but they didn't have it so they suggested something else which tasted more like mezcal to me, so I got a glass of wine instead. I should have looked at the menu because the glass was $20! The servers were friendly and didn't charge me for my first drink. I want to go back and try a reasonably priced margarita outside next time. I haven't given up on it yet!

    Yummy Marg!

The inside of the restaurant had a mid-century modern feel that reminded me of my childhood home. After sitting down and reviewing the menu, my friends decided on the frozen rosé, while I stuck with a Coke since I was driving. The soda hit the spot, but my friends found the frozen rosé a bit bitter and weren't fans. For starters, we highly recommend the garlic bread and pepperoni rolls. The sauces served with them tasted fresh and were packed with flavor. After appetizers, we ordered three pizzas and a Caesar salad. The restaurant got busier after we sat down, and our food took a little over 30 minutes to arrive. When the pizzas finally came out, they were absolutely worth the wait. They were visually appealing, and we couldn't wait to dive in. I ordered the veggie pizza, and it was so good. Our friends got the White Tiger pizza and added prosciutto, while my husband ordered the mushroom pizza with added sausage. It took us a few years to finally try Joy, but I can confidently say they make an awesome pizza in a relaxed, chill atmosphere.

I got the side salad with house vinegrette and the prosciutto, burrata, and arugula- it was absolutely amazing. My mouth is watering thinking about how tasty it was. I especially enjoyed the sourdough crust. We will definitely be back for more!

Had the melo cocktail which features avua cachaca, a rum but sure tasted like the strongest tequila fun decision of the night. Babe had the Zona Rosa which is basically a fruit salad with tequila and rum. We ordered the ceviche de chicharrone that has such great flavors with crispy pork belly.
