Such a fun spot! Brandon, the bartender, is the shit! Definitely come by and tell him what's up He recommended the mezcal cocktail with juiced bell pepper and it was incredible! My friend ordered the ube horchata and that was also fantastic. I don't think you can order a bad drink at Desert Social Come by and visit! The patio is nice and has fans and there are different seating areas inside. My one critique is that the music was rather loud both inside and outside and it made having our conversations a little harder but otherwise perfection!!

Cute, fun drinks. Nice menu selection. Bit on the high end for pricing. Nice ambiance for a girls night!

Cozy comfortable bar on South Broadway. They have a large shaded patio with plenty of hanging bucket chairs and adobe benches. Sorry, no smoking or dogs. Full bar service with only 2 food options (Corn nuts or Ceviche from sister restaurant Adelitas de Cocina & Cantina). I arrived at Happy Hour. I got a Pisco Sour served in a coupe glass for only $9. I later met the owner Victor. His mother owns and operates Adelitas de Cocina & Cantina in the next block north. I happened to be one of the first customers who signed up for the rewards program thru Toast that Victor activated today. I will be back to try another cocktail and the Ceviche.

@desertsocialdenver is such a great spot to enjoy drinks and cool off in this Denver heatwave. I used my Denver @passportprogram for buy 1, get 1 Agua de Casas along with an Aloe Margarita and a Pocket Change. Agua De Casa (Refreshing like a spa water, Cooling like a cucumber. Think: spa water meets ranch water; bubbles. Mezcal Derrumbes San Luis Potosí, Chareau, lime, Topo Chico) Aloe Margarita (We combine house-made hibiscus tea with an aloe plant based spirit. Add tequila and you've got a perfectly fresh, sweet, and tart margarita; Chareau, Ocho tequila blanco, hibiscus, lime) Pocket Change (A layered, velvety pineapple daiquiri. You'll get it all: smooth, sweet, tart ;Hamilton White 'Stache rum, elderflower, pineapple, lemon)

We were first time patrons and sat at the bar, but a peek at the patio area means we will definitely be back for that. We talked to Ivan and Patrick at the bar, and they were super welcoming. Ivan is a savant of mezcal, and my husband is also a huge fan of mezcal and its facts and history. Ivan was a wealth of new mezcal information, which we really loved. Also, the cocktails were tasty and unique!

While the decor here is very pretty, I doubt I will come back for drinks. We came here for drinks and the drinks were just about okay, they did not even look pretty. Service is just about alright. They have no food at all. Not appealing enough for me to come back.

Desert Social will take you to the beautiful, warm, desert while staying on S Broadway. The drinks are delicious and unique. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Patio with fans and misters. Is this the desert? Yes!

Clear margarita? Clearly! I had the mezcal version and it was great--not too sweet and not too bitter. And even though it was mezcal based not too smoky. And oh yeah, the vibe of the patio makes you feel like you are in Mexico or New Mexico or Arizona. Service is spot on. And even though it was 90 degrees it was comfortable. Love the misters, mister.

Desert Social is a little oasis on South Broadway. We arrived shortly after happy hour ended so it was pretty chill. The bar is stocked with excellent top shelf tequila brands with friendly bartenders. Their version of an espresso martini, Adelita's Espresso De Olla, is excellent. It's a rich blend of Chairman's Reserve Spiced Rum, Atőst Coffee Liquer, and Little Owl coffee with cinnamon, whole cane sugar, and egg white. Cool vibe and a great place to relax with friends.

Super charming cocktail lounge off of S Broadway. We got there at 4:30pm and it quickly filled up. The outside is completely unassuming, but when you walk in, it feels like you're transported to a boho desert chic resort. I had the Aloe Margarita and then the Agua Fresca. Both were well balanced and incredibly tasty. I'm not a huge mezcal fan yet I seem to get something with mezcal every time I go out. Maybe I'm trying to be cooler than I am? While the Agua Fresca has mezcal, it's a smooth mezcal so it tastes more like toasted vanilla rather than campfire. If you're looking for something unique, definitely give this place a try!

The inside of the restaurant had a mid-century modern feel that reminded me of my childhood home. After sitting down and reviewing the menu, my friends decided on the frozen rosé, while I stuck with a Coke since I was driving. The soda hit the spot, but my friends found the frozen rosé a bit bitter and weren't fans. For starters, we highly recommend the garlic bread and pepperoni rolls. The sauces served with them tasted fresh and were packed with flavor. After appetizers, we ordered three pizzas and a Caesar salad. The restaurant got busier after we sat down, and our food took a little over 30 minutes to arrive. When the pizzas finally came out, they were absolutely worth the wait. They were visually appealing, and we couldn't wait to dive in. I ordered the veggie pizza, and it was so good. Our friends got the White Tiger pizza and added prosciutto, while my husband ordered the mushroom pizza with added sausage. It took us a few years to finally try Joy, but I can confidently say they make an awesome pizza in a relaxed, chill atmosphere.

The hostess said let me see what I can do. My wife and I looked at one another because the inside was totally empty with the exception of 2 people at the bar? She led us to the outside deck. She tried putting us on the back rail and it was spitting rain. We asked for a covered table. Her reply was those are reserved. We were the only people out there. I laughed thinking she was joking. I said ok, I'll go online and book a reservation. Oh no was her reply! We don't take same day reservations? In a time where restaurants are struggling. These clowns are doing everything in their power to drive away customers. Usually the pizza is good, however, this time the crust was burned. I actually showed it to the waitress and she shrugged her shoulders and walked away? I was a waiter in my younger days and it wouldn't have been an issue. It would've been remade on the spot. I had to go find our waitress to ask for another round of drinks because she hadn't been to our table in 20 minutes. She was inside talking to the kitchen staff? The second time, we witnessed another man come up the back stairs and seat he and his wife at the table next to us. He was told the hostess would have to seat him. He told his wife he would go let the hostess know. The waitress replied, these are all reserved? He laughed and said there are only two other couples here? They placed him at the bar stool area looking out at the patio. He was flabbergasted. And when he was getting up to leave they moved him to his original table. When we left, I patted his shoulder and told him we saw and could not believe how they treated you! I told him we won't be coming back -

I grabbed a seat at the bar where the bartender was friendly and engaging. On a recent Wednesday at 7:15, the restaurant was packed. When I left around 8:30, it was still busy. That's usually the best review a restaurant can get. Loyal customers don't keep coming back out of habit. They come back because it feels like home. The all-day happy hour margarita for $9 certainly doesn't hurt. The second one arrives before you've had time to argue yourself out of it. I ordered the enchiladas with carne asada and their house mole. If you're expecting one of those intensely complex moles with enough ingredients to fill a pantry, this isn't that. Adelitas' version is comforting, approachable, and deeply homey. It tastes less like a culinary experiment and more like something your abuela has been making for decades. The carne asada was tender, the rice and beans were exactly what they should be, and every bite reminded me why comfort food never goes out of style. Before leaving, I made the smartest decision of the evening. Tres leches to go. I devoured it later at home while Netflix asked if I was still watching. The cake somehow manages to be light while completely satisfying. Don't skip it. Better yet, don't pretend you're saving it for tomorrow. Adelitas isn't trying to impress you. It's trying to feed you well, welcome you warmly, and send you home happier than when you arrived. Whether your abuela was Mexican...or Greek...you'll understand exactly what they're serving here.
