Returned to Pretty Neat during another holiday season and the cocktails were fantastic! The Oaxcanite had bold flavors of Mezcal and tequila with a perfect amount of lime, honey, and bitters to make the cocktail a smooth sip. My second cocktail was the Blackberry Margarita, a beautiful purple-hued take on the traditional cocktail. Bartenders, as usual, were amazing. We also tried the charcuterie board that said serves 2 (it was plenty) and was a steal at $12!

Cool cocktail bar south of downtown Denver. It was a slow night for the bar, but there was a variety patrons upstairs and next to me at the bar. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable about spirits. The place is clean and well decorated.

We had a birthday party here & they set up a nice private area for us that was the perfect size & intimate. The bartender was awesome but he was the only one working the entire bar and making the charcuterie boards. The drinks took a bit of a wait but no complaints other than that.

I decided to try out this place after some recommendations from friends when I asked for a bar that's not as divey like the bars I usually go for. I am really glad I stepped out of my comfort zone because Pretty Neat is... well... pretty neat lol. First off, the ambiance there is perfect for a quiet night out with friends or to impress a date. It's dark and moody with the music level at a point where conversation can easily be had. Service is amazing. All the bartenders there were super knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. Shout out to them! Last but not least, the drink menu is impressive with many different craft cocktails. I tried a few there and they were all amazing but my favorite was the blackberry margarita. They're also reasonably priced at $12/cocktails. I've had cocktails of this quality and easily paid $20+. I can't wait to go back here!

I'm sure I've walked past this place a bunch of times because it definitely blends into the background (and has a tiny sign). But I wanted a new spot to check out for my birthday last week and was so happy we came by. For about an hour, it was just my husband and I and the bartender Asa who was awesome to chat with. His drink, the Mary Robinson, was the featured cocktail and was all ingredients I liked and I was not disappointed. The drink blended perfectly and I liked the little lemon twist on the side. Presentation and flavors were great. Asa knows his stuff! Eventually some other people came in as the evening wore on, but we loved this place, the drinks, the vibes. Again it's easy to walk right by and not even notice it but this will definitely be one of our new go-tos for cocktail nights. I would say this place is small and not great for groups over 4 but terrific for date night or a few friends.

On a mission to find Denver's best whiskey sour. I would rate theirs as a 6/10. The flavor was decent but there was something off about it. It would have been better over an ice cub. The presentation was 10/10 though and the staff here is lovely. Atmosphere is also super cool with a prohibition vibe. I would come back and try something else for sure!

Wedged between a vape shop and liquor store, you'll find this quaint bar-look for the pink neon light. It has been open for a year and they seem to be thriving. As was recently pointed out in this year's edition of Westwood's 100 Bars You Can't Live Without, it is actually pretty neat! Great cocktail selections that are all priced at $12 (except for speciality holiday drinks) as well as great service makes this one of the newest go tos for a drink along Broadway. Pretty Neat has two sets of bars and both come with regulars that are easy going and fun. I chose the Gingerbread Espresso Martini- and it definitely hit the spot! Will be back!

We sought out this cozy little bar after seeing such great reviews about this place. They craft such unique and delicious cocktails. I really enjoyed their pumpkin spice espresso martini. Our bartender was very kind and efficient, despite him being the only one working. I would definitely return here!

This is probably the only bar in Denver that offers well-made, classic cocktails for under $15. The space is cozy and inviting, they have books you can read, and the bartender Rooster is very friendly. It's more of a cocktail/spirits focused bar but they do have some beer and wine options.

New cocktail bar alert! Serving up classic cocktails in a super cute neighborhood spot is Pretty Neat. Kismet, to have been able to come during their grand opening without even knowing due to some local friends. Out of LA and into Denver, we're winning with traditional cocktails but of course the ability to make drinks based on their library. I wish this spot was in my 'hood because I would be here a lot. Instead, it'll be a staple when on Broadway. Highly recommend if you're looking for a spot that serves up solid cocktails in a casual bar. There's also a speakeasy aspect bar hidden upstairs in the back. Visit! Cheers!

The ambiance and quality of cocktails puts Pretty Neat on the map for being one of the best drink stops in Denver. What really sets them apart is having a selection of cocktails for under $15. At $12 each, they have my vote for keeping it chill and affordable to have a night out without dropping a week's pay on a cocktail experience. You can upgrade your drink from well to one of the selections on the wall and my husband did that with his bourbon/rye for an extra $3. Still not bad considering most places are charging $20+ for a cocktail these days. They have a pretty straightforward menu with some interesting ingredients and we tried 4 cocktails - Old Fashioned, Manhattan, Clover Club, and the Eastside. All of the drinks were great - our faves were the OF and Eastside. The vibe is relaxed and clean and comfortable. The bartender was friendly, welcoming, and made a great cocktail. What I really loved was that it didn't feel stuffy or pretentious at all. More like a local hangout. 10/10 will be back.

I looked online and found that they were hosting an all Vinyl 80's dance party with no cover charge on Saturday night... how cool is that!! So, we took a rideshare from Downtown to The Delorean. I am not familiar with that area of town, but there looked to be several bars and restaurants nearby. Anyway, upon entering, we were immediately greeted with a library of cassette tapes. Then, we wandered further to see lots of neon lights and neon carpeting, cases of nostalgia featuring various toys and games from the 80's, as well as lot's of music posters. The cocktail menu was super cool, with drinks named after 80's songs and movies. There was a fun little photo booth in back. I ordered a Pretty in Pink cocktail, which featured jasmine and rose gin with champagne and elderflower liquor with a huge champagne bubble. My friend ordered the She-Ra Colada because it came it a really cute Tiki cup. I think she enjoyed it because she ordered a second. That night, there was an Ape (yes a man in an ape suit) playing 80's vinyl all night. Also, he was giving away records. If you enjoyed a song, you could ask and he would give you the record after it finished playing. I brought home a single by the Klymaxx (Meeting in the Ladies' Room). My friend and I had an absolute blast. We danced the night away and made 80's music-loving friends who we shared stories with about various 80's bands. A server wearing Strawberry Shortcake served us drinks at our table all night. The only bummer is that the dance night went from 9- midnight. After the Ape DJ left, the music was a bit on the quiet side, so we left rather than staying to dance, as the dance party had ended and it was still early. All in all, though I was disappointed, as I wanted to dance until 2AM, The Delorean was still one of my absolute favorite experiences during my Denver weekend stay.

We walked in without reservations and managed to grab one of the last open tables, so I'd definitely recommend booking ahead. The space has a great atmosphere with low lighting, candles on the tables, and that lively dinner buzz that makes a restaurant feel exciting without being overwhelming. Our server, who I think may have also been a manager, was fantastic and brought such a fun energy to the experience. The house focaccia immediately changed my opinion of the place. Honestly the best focaccia I've ever had. Perfectly crisp on the outside, soft inside, salty, flavorful, and good enough to eat completely on its own. The spring greens were light and fresh, and both pasta dishes were excellent with perfectly al dente pasta and great seasoning. I ordered the chimaera alla vodka, but my friend's no waste gnocchi ended up being my favorite bite of the night. We finished with lattes and tiramisu, and somehow the meal kept getting better. The coffee was genuinely better than what you get at a lot of coffee shops, and the tiramisu was light, balanced, and not overly sweet or soggy like it sometimes can be. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu.

I'm not familiar with Colombian cuisine, so I wanted to try something traditional. The presentation was sizable and I really like color on a plate. Then, it was flavorful and filling?! YUM. The inside of the restaurant had a mid-century modern feel that reminded me of my childhood home. After sitting down and reviewing the menu, my friends decided on the frozen rosé, while I stuck with a Coke since I was driving. The soda hit the spot, but my friends found the frozen rosé a bit bitter and weren't fans. For starters, we highly recommend the garlic bread and pepperoni rolls. The sauces served with them tasted fresh and were packed with flavor. After appetizers, we ordered three pizzas and a Caesar salad. The restaurant got busier after we sat down, and our food took a little over 30 minutes to arrive. When the pizzas finally came out, they were absolutely worth the wait. They were visually appealing, and we couldn't wait to dive in. I ordered the veggie pizza, and it was so good. Our friends got the White Tiger pizza and added prosciutto, while my husband ordered the mushroom pizza with added sausage. There were 2 parties ahead of us when we walked in, and we didn't even talk to the host for about 15 mins. I had time to go down to the bathroom, take a call, and come back, and my fiance was still waiting, and nobody had even acknowledged him or said it'll be just a minute or anything. The restaurant was freezing cold inside, unbearably cold, so we asked to sit outside and were told there was a wait, fine not a huge deal. Except for the wait again at the host stand after we got our text, it took forever to get seated. We got the text, went back, and 2 parties ahead of us who were just walking in and weren't on the list or anything were seated outside, and finally they got to us. The host had absolutely no sense of urgency or hospitality, she was just leisurely walking around and took forever to come back after seating someone. Honestly super frustrating. I'd be less frustrated if we had gotten a "hi, I'll be with you in just a second", or even any sort of acknowledgment, but no such luck. We felt like an annoyance being there. The patio is gorgeous, such a nice spot, but it is insanely loud. I don't know what it is about it but the noise is so amplified we could barely hear other talk. And there were quite a few open tables so it wasn't packed or anything. Service was good, our waiter was on top of it and quick, but the food was fairly mediocre. We ordered the stracciatella and sourdough and it came with 6 of the absolute tiniest spears of sourdough I've ever seen...for $16. We finished it in about a minute. The pizza was good but nothing to write home about, I expected a bit of a bigger pizza for the price just based on other places we've been to in town. Good but really nothing special. Neither of us ordered a drink but we saw them walking out with cocktails and they had to be some of the smallest cocktails I've ever seen. Overall I feel like this place is pretty overpriced for what you get, and the service at the host stand kind of ruined the experience off the bat for us. We've had much better dinners for less lately, so unfortunately this just didn't do it for us.
