This business has so few reviews, because they keep paying yelp to remove the bad ones. Here is my LEGIT review that yelp keeps removing. People need to know, that this company removed their "Mesa office" from yelp in order to remove this 100% HONEST review. So I posted it on their corporate site on yelp, which they removed 3 times. So now that the Mesa Office is back on Yelp, this review should not be removed. Yelp has completely disappointed me, and is not allowing this honest review to stick to this company. How much money they are paying yelp is beyond me. But this review is 100% Honest, Truthful, and Factual! "First of all, the receptionist is rude! I thought maybe she was just having an off day, but after multiple visits it turns out shes just an incredibly rude person. I went here with my doctors recommendation for lower back pain, and a four year old MRI. Immediately the doctor sold me on an Epidural, and did not want to order an up to date MRI. This was my first red flag. But whatever, doctors know best right? Second, I went in for my first ever procedure, and my mom flew all the way out to be with me during this time. They REFUSED to let her be by my side in the waiting area. Kept going on about HIPAA, yet the receptionist was clearly talking very loudly to people about their personal issues in the waiting area. So basically, there were about 10 people in the waiting room, they bring them all back to the waiting area at once! And boom, into the procedure room, one after another. Like sheep getting castrated. Third, they rush! I was having an epidural, and first time they took their time and explained everything as they did it. Second time I went, they were quite a bit behind on their schedule and RUSHED my epidural. They didn't say a word to me, just did their thing very very quickly and this was the worst experience of my life. They hit the nerve really hard, my leg jumped on the table. I immediately went flush, got the chills and almost fainted. Doctors chit chatting with the nurse about his "egg white delight" he got from McDonald and how it fits into his nutritional diet... Fourth, they treat you as a number. You are simply another method of revenue for these people. They tried to charge me $80 for 1ml of Iodine? Pretty sure I can get a couple ounces of Iodine from Walgreens for a few bucks. Is this magical unicorn piss Iodine? Why $80 for 1 ml, or 1cc... $10 for a single pair of latex gloves? Are you serious? After my procedure, I went to CA to be with my mom during my recovery. They sent me to collections after 1 month... Not a phone call, nothing. I simply flew back home, got the mail and BAM a collections notice. I went down there in person and the receptionist said they could not do anything as its already in collections! Fifth, Two epidurals in 5 months and my pain is already back... It did subside for about 2 months, then came back gradually and the pain is 100% back after just 5 months. So not only did I have to experience additional pain from them rushing, their assessment of the epidural lasting about a year was false. I am now stuck with a medical collections account on my credit report because of a greedy doctors office. Stay far far away, at the very least get a 2nd or 3rd recommendation. And make sure your MRI is up to date, regardless of what they tell you. A lot could of changed during that time."" read more

Dr. Hatch and his team are AMAZING to say the least. Every single time I have had a flare up with my back, they fit me in the same day and today they even squeezed me in for an epidural to get me out of pain. I have now had 4 epidurals since I have been going there and every time I go, the staff/dr's have taken their time with me, explained procedures throughly, and have been SO incredibly kind. As far as my epidurals, I have had 2 from Dr. Arthur Hatch and 2 from Dr. Brad Sorosky. I can see why these Dr's are rated Top Docs in Phoenix, their bedside manner makes me feel calm and I have 100% trust in them. They have MY best interest and that's what's important to me. I love how each appointment they take their time with me and they are never in a rush. I will continue to tell everyone I know about this practice, as I am very confident in them and they have been nothing but amazing with me. I'm so thankful my PCP first told me about Dr. Hatch last year. They really have gotten me out of pain and I LOVE everyone that works there!! My PCP had nothing but great things to say about Dr. Hatch, but meeting him in person was better than I imagined, as I have never had a dr not rush through the appointment and squeeze me in the same day. Parking is extremely difficult particularly if you're handicapped or if you've recently had surgery and you're in pain and/or using prosthetic equipment. Your professional staff make the diagnostic and treatment process extremely well worth the effort. I was tested for carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands and when I came in I was already in a great deal of pain and fearful of the tests and in just a few minutes into testing I was close to panicking, however Dr. Ayyad immediately sensed my level of pain and fear and calmed me by allowing me to determine the extent of the testing basing it on MY tolerance. I was given the opportunity and confidence to halt the testing at any point of the process and for that I am not only grateful but definitely now a fan of Dr. Ayyad and of Desert Spine and Sports Physicians Clinic. Kudos go to Christopher for his professional and extremely friendly approach as the first medical staff face I would encounter! I have been going to pain management for at least four years now. My mother-in-law had meet with Dr. Brad Sorosky at the east Mesa location and immensely enjoyed the results that had received. I called Desert Spine to make an appointment which was scheduled promptly within two weeks (previous pain management facilities take 4-6 weeks on avg. for an appt.). So, by referral of my mother-in-law,I met with Dr. Sorosky for a second opinion and was told the same steps for back pain relief as other facilities mentioned. Dr. Brad Sorosky seems to have a great bed side manner, caring and wants to know a little about me. I received dual-lumbar epidurals today and his precision was accurate! Dr. Brad Sorosky and medical staff, you all have been very polite and cheerful! I thank you! Dr. Joy Andrew's provides exceptional care. She personally called me to follow up on a phone message I left She took care of my needs and then made the next appointment for me; and she was able to see me the very next day. At the appointment she made me her total focus, intently listening, and made sure she understood my concerns and came up with a plan that really works for me. She definitely knows what she is doing. I've seen her a few times and every time she makes me feel like I'm her first priority, she has a calming and caring demeanor. She personally takes you to her medical assistant Katie (who is also very proficient) to schedule next steps, which makes it a warm handoff and i know exactly what will happen next. I was very impressed with the diagonals. I have had back pain for the last 30 years. About 10 years ago I had surgery leaving me with nerve damage. Dr Lo looked at my mri and immediately diagnosed what needed to be done first. She gave me medicine to help me sleep at night. It has been 10 Years since I had a full night sleep. Pain would wake me up. After the first procedure I felt 80% better. In 2 weeks I go in for another procedure. I highly recommend them. They take the time to explain in detail the problem, if you have any questions later they take the time to explain and while you are in the office everyone is very friendly. I went to Desert Spine for an EMG and nerve conduction study and was seen by Kyle Wentz, DO. He is the most kind, caring, knowledgeable physician I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. His assistant was the same way. He answered every question I had and took the time to explain everything. His kindness was out of this world. I almost felt he was going through what I was going through. Whenever I was having a shock he would pat me on the arm and say "It's almost over." I would never go to anyone else. The best care from Dr. Susan Sorosky and her team. I go to the 8670 E Shea Blvd location, and it's always easy in and out. They are caring and take time to listen and advise. Without getting into all of my bone issues, I can tell you that they solved a year-long problem that no other physician I had seen could address, and for that, I am grateful. The facility is clean and neat. The front desk staff are friendly. There is ample parking, too. Dr. Sorosky and her PA, Susana Leyva, are very responsive when you send messages through the patient portal. Both are consummate professionals. Referral for MRI and X-rays are seamless. Yes, I would definitely recommend Desert Spine and Sports Physicians, Mesa location and Dr. Brad Sorosky. I have been a patient there for several years. However, Dr. Brad now has 5 clinics and had to spread himself too thin. I cannot go to the clinics where he will be now, as they are too far for me to travel. I have been in terrific pain the last two days and although I can get around, very carefully and with a walker, I still need help. I have tried and tried to contact the medical assistant there, but to no avail. I need help with this pain. I hope I can continue with this clinic, but right now my frustration level is very high. I had a good feeling walking in the door and a better feeling walking out the door the professionalism was extreme the doctor was knowledgeable and explained everything in terms that I could understand gave me my choices we both agreed to try PT first and a month and a half later two months I have full recovery without any restrictions . Dr. Brad Sorosky has helped me get to a place where I can do mosts things that I did before my accident. I cannot say enough about him and his staff. They do care. I was in Germany in a lot of pain and called his office. I talked to one of his staff and they said they would let him know. I have been seeing Dr Le for about three years now. I have a messed up psiatic nerve, back and neck problems, shoulder and knee issues, and all of those exacerbated by moderate to severe osteoarthritis. Dr Le is up to the challenge. She rotates what she can treat so as not to use too much cortisone but enough to keep me walking. I will forever be grateful to her for her empathy and skilled treatment of my pain issues! read more
