I will start by saying that I am SUPER picky when it comes to house cleaning. When I do it myself,…read moreI wash the tile on my hands and knees because I feel like it's the only way to get ALL the dirt off - so that's how crazy I am. I've had other companies/individuals clean my house and I am always frustrated because inevitably there are spots left on the shower chrome or fingerprints on the banister or some other detail that I think they should have done better. Amy and her team (with the cleaning authority) have cleaned my house 4 times now. I have them come bi-weekly. They are reliable and consistent. I am always relieved when I get home from work and she and her team have been there. They do an absolute fantastic job. They don't miss the finer details that many people overlook (like ceiling fan dust, or the front and sides of stairs carpet). I'm very glad I hired this company...it saves me the time and frustration of having to spend a portion of my precious time off cleaning the house... I just hope they always have Amy come out - I don't want to try another team because I don't think they could possibly do a better job. :)

I also can see when the cleaners were working and when they were not . After 1 hour and 37 minutes the ladies decided they were finished. I could see on the camera that they had not mopped the floor. I called the agency, and they directed the ladies to mop the floors, which they did. There is no quality control with this business, I had to be the quality control. I feel the cleaners just do the minimum to get by I would not recommend this cleaning company. There is always additional work when cleaning a house, for $120 and hour with a two hour minimum they should be working the entire time. Blinds can be cleaned, window sills, there are endless things to do to fill out the two hours. This cleaning service was a complete disappointment. I hired The Cleaning Authority to clean my vacation home, paying $240 for a two-hour minimum at $120 per hour. My home is equipped with cameras and smart locks, allowing me to monitor the cleaners' activity. At 1 hour and 37 minutes the cleaners stood by the door and discussed how long they should stand there before they leave the house. my cameras revealed they hadn't mopped the floors. I had to call the agency to direct them back to complete this basic task. This lack of quality control is unacceptable. It's clear the cleaners are simply trying to do the bare minimum and leave as quickly as possible. I feel completely taken advantage of by this company. There are always additional tasks that could be done in a two-hour cleaning slot, such as cleaning blinds, window sills, or other details. Instead, they tried to leave before the agreed-upon time. My concerns were not adequately addressed by management. I would absolutely not recommend The Cleaning Authority. Their poor management, lack of quality control, and apparent disregard for customer satisfaction make them a company to avoid

The Cleaning Authority came to my home on 6/28/24 to give me a quote for monthly home cleaning…read moreservices. The plan was to book an "Initial Deep Clean A" for 7/12/24 at $236. Following that would be "inital deep clean B" at $236 and then regular monthly cleanings at $186, areas cleaned would rotate. What actually happened and the service I received: 1. Told me I could see my appointment and take care of everything in the app. 2. In order to get into the app, I needed the account number. Which I had to request from them. Very little communication to set that up. I can imagine it would be very confusing for older folks, I'm 34, it was confusing for me and I'm tech savvy. 3. When the cleaners showed up to my house, the communication they had was to do a regular maintenance cleaning at $186. I said well this is the very first appointment, it's supposed to be a deep clean. They tried reaching out to their boss, supervisor, whatever, via phone. No answer. So they did the $186 cleaning as scheduled. 4. Therefore I did not receive the service I wanted and that we had planned when they sent whoever to come to my house for the quote! 5. When looking at the paper left at service, it says areas for "next rotational clean" and so this tells me I will never get my initial deep cleans. 6. The actual cleaning performed was subpar. Many missed spots, but the most glaring was all the dust left under the dresser in our master bedroom. They didn't even touch under there. Layers of dust and piles of dust bunnies / hair / pet hair that I cannot get myself and hence why I hired and was willing to pay good money for a cleaning service. Attached are screenshots of communication with this company, the original paperwork scheduling the deep clean and then the post-cleaning paper showing them giving the wrong service. Also, this company is so incompetent they never took payment information from me (customers set that up themselves in the app) before rendering service. Poor service. Poor communication. Poor quality of work. STAY AWAY AND GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE! UPDATE: The company got back to me, argued with me, try gaslighting me and then exposed and admitted even more shitty business practices. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE FOOLS.

The house was completely empty and I wanted the floors, cabinets, and kitchen to be cleaned. When I got home the floors were still dirty, used a swifter to clean the tile and it was turning the pads black. I called them to see if they could issue a refund or come back out. They told me only a manager could decide on a refund, called a couple of times, they never did anything. Claimed they sent people back out, they did not send anyone. I figure if they cant even clean a empty house, good luck if you are living in the home! I just got a flyer from this company and they claim that they are reliable, affordable, guarantee work, and thorough. I would not agree. Maybe affordable, but whats the point if the service is trash. I continued using them for a long time because they were reliable enough, and I understand accidents happen in any business. Over the years, small things have broken here and there during cleans, but I've always been understanding about it because mistakes happen and no one is perfect. Recently though, we had brand new carpet installed that was literally only four days old. During the cleaning, something happened that left marks on the carpet that honestly looked like burn marks. I was able to lessen some of it myself, but the carpet is still damaged. What disappointed me most was not necessarily the accident itself. It was the response afterward. Someone did reach out fairly quickly, but instead of trying to understand what happened or discuss a solution, the immediate response felt focused on proving it could not have been caused by their vacuum. I really just wanted honesty, accountability, and to know if they were willing to help make it right. After looking through other reviews, I realized this seems to be a recurring issue. Defensiveness instead of accountability when problems happen. One of the main reasons I originally chose this company years ago was because they were insured and bonded, which gave me peace of mind if accidents ever occurred. When I explained that I wanted to cancel services because our brand new carpet had been damaged and there didn't seem to be any resolution, I never heard back at all. I completely understand accidents happen. That was never the biggest issue for me. It was the lack of accountability and communication afterward that left a bad impression.

BEWARE! I used Perfectionist Cleaning for window cleaning in April 2023 and had a great experience,…read morewhich is why I hired them again in April 2026. Unfortunately, this second experience was completely different. I was told they would arrive between 9:00am-10:00am, but after multiple calls throughout the day, they didn't show up until 3:00pm. The crew that arrived did not speak English, rushed through the job, and the quality of the cleaning was poor. I had to go back and clean numerous streaks myself, and there was still bird droppings left on several windows afterward. The worst part, however, was the damage they caused to four of my window screens. One worker even knocked on my door to ask my husband to help bend a damaged screen back into shape and force it back into the window frame. (You can clearly see their cleaning supplies in the background of the attached photo of window #1.) The screens are now bent and damaged to the point that several windows can no longer be properly opened because the gaps are so large that bugs and debris can get inside. One window will not open at all because the damaged screen is obstructing it. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue and request reimbursement, Perfectionist Cleaning claimed the screens were already damaged before they arrived. That makes absolutely no sense considering we could open all of our windows before the cleaning, and now we cannot. My husband also sent photos of the damage, and they responded by claiming the photos were of "different windows." We are honest Christian people who simply wanted our windows cleaned and instead ended up with damaged property and a company refusing to take responsibility. With a baby on the way, we cannot afford the unexpected cost to replace multiple window screens ourselves. After reading other recent reviews, it appears this may be becoming a pattern for this company -- damage customers' property and refuse to fix it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

The customer care/routing managers I spoke with over the phone all very polite. However I would never use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone. I was quoted $300 to clean two area rugs. I had a giftcard that covered the amount. The technician that came into my home took maybe 10 minutes to clean both rugs and complimented on how clean they already were. He left and that evening my dining area rug had brown dirt spots running down about 1/4 of the rug. My rug was cleaner and white BEFORE he got there. The next day the company called and asked how my service went I explained that my white rug is now brown and they quickly wanted to make it right. I sent them pics and they got me in the schedule the next day. Great right?! I was impressed. My appt was scheduled the next day between 10 and 12. By 11:45am I called and they informed me the tech was finished and on their way. 30 minutes later I called again and they informed me now that he was "finishing up in Chandler and is on his way." I'm like you said he was on his way 30 min ago so is he or is he not? They put me through to the routing manager and he said he's on his way. I asked did you speak to them because no one has called or texted that they are on the way. You said 30 min ago he was finished and on his way but now it's "he's finishing up in Chandler?" I'm in east Gilbert. He said I'll call him now and get an ETA. Great thank you. Gets back on the phone and now he's coming from Mesa? Like what the heck?! You said he was in Chandler and now it's Mesa? Routing manager says my appt is being bounced around different techs. I have never heard of that? It's almost like if I hadn't called no one was going to show up because literally no one showed up until I called twice. It's now 12:45pm. Tech shows up-again super nice young man. Spent maybe 8-10 minutes on the rug focused on one specific area. That area is clean now and white again but he neglected the other 1/2 of that strip that was still brown. Ugh. I will never use this company again. And I'd encourage anyone thinking about using them to run! They will ruin your carpets and leave jobs 1/2 finished with brown dirt splotches all over. If I'm gifted a gift card again it's going in the trash.
