Place is a joke never once heard nor witness a dispatcher scream at customers on the phone and then hang up very and I mean very unprofessional and I'm a repo agent, & was just like wow ‍ and then had to call the cops to get my stolen unit back, after the cops told them the day before I was coming to release it but didn't add that to the notes in their system wow how sad and they make everything hell to get released and then the miss informed employee claims you can get a pink slip while something is financed ugh definitely not, and it is pretty bad when a shop right next door even claimed they are shady af and to watch out long story short very unprofessional, make everything hell, price is so high that even the cops had me walking out for around 1,000 vs the 1,500 they wanted to charge me for just 3 says of storage/recovery fee DONT LET THEM WALK ALL OVER YOU STAND YOUR GROUND, & HAVE PD PUT THEM IN THEIR PLACE.... read more

Awesome tow! I was in Ludlow on an off road trail, and my car got stuck on the dirt. I called Desert Valley Towing, and they pulled me out with excellent service and a great rate. They charged $175/hour with $150 hold on a credit card. They charge for the time they leave the yard until when they return. My tow was 2.5 hours, as I was 1 hour away from them with a total of $437.50. Prior to calling Desert Valley Towing, I called All Desert Towing, and they said my tow would be a flat $600. I give them 4 stars because I called at 6:15PM and did not leave their yard until 7:28PM as my start, which can be scary alone in the desert. read more

The reason for not giving 5 stars is because there was a communication problem. I was told to call back after the intitial call to advise whether there was a spare tire so AAA could send out a tow truck or someone to change the tire/spare. There was no spare and I did call back to advise however they still dispatched a driver who thought he was going to repair/change a tire. When he realized this he had to drop us off at a gas station to have a tow truck pick up the vehicle to take me to a tire shop. Everyone involved was polite and all though the time it took to do all this was longer than expected I got my tire repaired in time so that I could make it to work the next day. A driver came out to assist me within 10 mins. Super friendly, made sure everyone was ok, and went out of his way to check my car for any damage I may have missed. My car was still drivable, and was not leaking any fluids so we opted not to have it towed. The driver followed me as far as he could, to make sure we were safe. We had to pull over once to check a noise I heard and the driver jumped out of his truck to assist me immediately. I felt safe, and was exceedingly appreciative of how above and beyond he went to help us out. read more

Never thought I'd leave a review for a towing company but here I go... my car wouldn't start so it was just sitting in my driveway. My tow-guy got to my house right at the ETA that they texted me. He tried to start my car and told me right away what he thought was the issue. He was polite, friendly and very patient with me. Maybe he knew I was having a crappy day due to this stupid car not starting. He got the car down the driveway smoothly, took his time and did an excellent job doing it. It was kinda fun watching him and all the patience he has to do this job. He did a great job and got my car to the right spot (Kia dealership, without me having to go) and he was right, I needed a new starter. The Chino location is who towed my car. They were called out by the police because my car had been stolen and when i arrived the person who was driving my car( that I didn't have charges filed on) was removing their stuff from my vehicle and as the tow truck driver was putting my car on the truck and as the police left the girl came over and tried to assault me . Luckily the tow truck driver stepped in and saved me. He really did take that extra care of me while towing my vehicle and made sure I stayed safe throughout the process. I don't remember the drivers name I only remember him telling me he was 23 years old. But I greatly appreciate his quality customer service and protection he provided me. Thank you again. Very unprofessional company. The driver quoted me one outrageous price then tried flirting with me and when I shut him down he doubled it. Yeah an 8 mile tow he said was $680. I called another company and got the tow for $125. Stupid man had a wedding ring on too. Shame read more

Watch out when they tow your car there after it's been stolen. the CHP and desert valley towing have a cozy agreement not to notify you after ten or more days by then it can add up more than your car is worth Case in point mine $223 for towing $70 for lien process and $55 a day for storage for me it was $440 someone at the CHP is on the take. and it;s not over if you do not pay they will ruin your credit for tha balance due. The DMV is also on their side. It's time to take action and stop this abuse and call the attorney General read more

The driver was great. Ford Roadside assistance scheduled my appointment. I received a text with the info that a driver would be there at 2:30 pm. 2:45 pm came & I called & was told the driver that was to come was dispatched to another call that was an emergency & I would receive a call when driver was on his way. 4:00 came & no driver & no call. I called & was told another driver would be sent to me because the other driver was still at the emergency call & this driver would be at my house within an hour. Needless to say a driver showed up at 5:15. If my car had been picked @ 2:30 I would have had my car back before Sunland closed at 6:00pm. My battery was so badly corroded I couldn't jump it to drive it the 3 miles away from house that Sunland is. If Desert Towing would have just told me it was going to be a 3 1/2 hour wait I could have had Roadside assistance schedule another company. Worst customer service ever, honesty is always best even if you lose out on one tow throughout the day. My one star is for the driver who was very nice & courteous. read more

Yesterday my sister were coming down the cajon pass and her car died, I called AAA they sent out Desert Valley Towing, Desert Towing had a long tow (65 miles)and a lot of traffic going back since the 91 was closed for the weekend. Broke down on the 60 about 19 miles from home and was worried I wouldn't be able to afford a tow. I got their number from a local business. They quoted me $35 for the first 12 miles and $8 a mile there after. A quick tally in my head and I was confident I had enough cash to cover the cost. When the tow guy arrived he was nice and friendly, even bought us a cold drink. When he handed me the bill for $186 I almost fell over. I told him I didn't have the money. He called the office to see if they would accept a check for the balance. They said whatever cash I had was fine and left it at that. I looked at the receipt to try to figure out where the $186 charge came from, but none of the relevant items were filled in (towing charge, mileage, tax, etc) only the total. I thought the service was great, but I'm sure I was over charged, if they could explain the charges they would've been written on the invoice. If the charges were valid they would have taken the check to get the money they were owed. So be very careful when dealing with these guys and make sure these items are listed on the bill and if they aren't ask why they didn't think it was important enough to include them. If they can't justify the charges or won't write them down, you're getting ripped off. read more
