The food was delivered to our home less than five miles away. Upon delivery, several of the containers were still piping hot. Most everything was sealed securely in plastic containers packed in brown paper bags. Upon delivery, the containers had toppled over inside the bags - if one of them had popped open during the trip, it would have been a disaster. My favorite was the Saag Paneer. It's one of my favorite Indian dishes in general. Planet Bombay's version was rich, flavorful, and had its own distinct character. Everything else was tasty as well. There wasn't a single bad item or anything really to criticize. Perhaps we could've ordered more naan, but they packed plenty of white basmati rice for us -- 10 containers worth of rice alone. You have to choose the spice level for the green chilli chicken and mutton. Our first round was ordered mild but it came out quite spicy. The second round was much better after we asked our server to tone it down. Even though the heat was high, the flavors were great. The green chilli chicken is battered and fried, tossed in a bright green chilli sauce and it had a really nice kick. The chicken tikka, malai chicken tikka, and paneer tikka were all soft, juicy, and packed with flavor. For the main dishes we tried the chicken 65 biryani, ghee roast mutton biryani, gongura mutton fry biryani, and dal makhani. I was honestly impressed by how many biryani options they have on the menu. The ghee roast mutton biryani was the clear favorite at our table. The mutton was tender and the rice had a rich buttery aroma from the ghee and spices. The chicken 65 biryani was also great, with crispy fried chicken pieces mixed into the rice. The gongura mutton fry biryani had a tangy flavor from the gongura leaves which made it really unique. The dal makhani was creamy and comforting, and it came with rice so there was already a lot of food on the table. We finished with gulab jamun and rasmalai for dessert, plus coffee and mango lassi. Everything was delicious and there was definitely more than enough food to go around. The food was a hit, but the service was a bit of a miss. They also use a robot to bring food to the table which was fun at first, but it stopped far away from us so someone still had to grab the dishes and load the empty plates back on it since the table was not being cleared. The lemonade was really good, refreshing, and not overly sweet, especially compared to Chipotle's lemonade, which I find to be much sweeter. The ordering process was smooth overall. Cava offers a lot more options than Chipotle, and since it had been a while, I asked a few questions. Unfortunately, the employee helping me seemed pretty irritated. It wasn't a huge deal and it didn't ruin the experience, but the attitude felt a little unnecessary. As for the food, I really enjoyed it. Everything tasted fresh, the salmon was solid, and the variety of ingredients makes it easy to build a bowl exactly how you want it. I've been going to Niramish for a good solid decade and always left full and contented. The service is generally on par, if not flat-out exceptional and obviously, I keep coming back, so the food is well worth it...Party on Niramish!!
