Chicken Kabab Platter

Was in the area and saw this spot with great reviews, so I thought I'd check it out! Ian was such a gem and helped me get the best meal tailored to my likes! He was amazing. I was really excited about trying a bunch of the dips but also wanted to get the shawarma and he helped me make a custom platter. And omg! It was AMAZING! Great value for money, great flavor, great vibe! Can't wait to be back. If you're in the area, check it out!!

I can't really speak on the service or ambiance since my boyfriend picked up the food for us. However, the food itself was the most inauthentic and dry Mediterranean food I've ever eaten. The presentation looks delicious and portions are obviously very well served, but I guess they had to make up for their lackluster taste and quality. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Platter sans hummus, extra rice instead. The chicken was ok. It was barely seasoned, pretty dry, and tasted better when I ate it cold if I'm going to be completely honest. Yes, it LOOKS seasoned, or maybe that's just the char on the chicken, but I promise you, it's not. The rice, I'm pretty sure just had turmeric on it for the color, because it had absolutely no flavor, not even a pinch of salt, and tasted dry and like it had been sitting out for hours. Almost stale. The only saving grace was the warm and soft pita bread and their garlic sauce. That's literally it. Very disappointing and definitely not worth the hype. Maybe their chicken kabob is better? Don't know and will most likely not try it. Have never had Mediterranean food this flavorless and dry. And it definitely did not taste authentic.

Super delicious and freshly made. Met a new friend we made before it was time to catch a flight back to PHX and this place was close and good reviews. So glad we picked it as the seasoning was delicious the space sets the scene and the ingredients are the star. Delicious from start to finish and some unique hot sauce I've never had back home that was very delicious with just the right heat so it complimented the food perfectly if you like some kick.

We needed a meal in route to our house and pointed our GPS toward another local place but decided to try this instead. We were convinced we'd get our food quicker here and that it would be flavorful. We were mostly correct: the service was good, we ordered quickly and our food came out in about 8-10 minutes. The shawarma platter was a good amount of chicken, rice, and hummus but there were only two triangle pita slices. I loved that the pitas were warm! The chicken and rice needed salt; I added some to the portion I ate at the restaurant and other seasonings to the portion I took home and ate the next day. The salt brought the flavor out better. I really loved the spread they brought with it, but my husband didn't like his, so mixed reviews there. The restaurant is designed and decorated really nicely, but it wasn't as clean as it could have been. Also the restroom (one, single use, all gender) was not clean. The toilet seat was full of water and it made me pivot and exit before I even fully entered. Parking is easy. There's a large shared lot.

Great portions and good food. Rice was a little bland and the hummus was ok, but I liked the sides being offered as part of the meal. Lamb was a good flavor and cooked well. I also enjoyed the mint tea.

Decent! Not the best in the world but pretty good, and walkable from a ton of the hotels in the area. The hummus and pita made the platter worth getting. Came to I want to say $22 after getting a bottle of water also, so it's not cheap.

Decided to try something new this Saturday. I ordered my food from Uber eats. I have never eaten lamb before so I decided I was going to give it a shot. I was undecided as to what I wanted so I ordered three different things. 1. Falafel 2. Grilled Veggie Plate 3. Lamb Chops When I open the platters I felt like the colors just jumped out at me. The veggie plate was beautiful. It consisted of grilled tomato bell peppers squash and maybe zucchini I'm not sure. I asked them to add onion because I love onion. It was on top of a bed of yellow rice. It also had I'm assuming was Hummus on the side and pita bread. This was very delicious and much needed today. The lamb chops. I was apprehensive because I was told lamb can have a gamey wild taste, however that was not the case with these chops. They were flavorful, I could taste the Rosemary and the thyme, they will also tender and not overdone. Delicious. It also came with the rice and the hummus and the pita bread and it also came with a sauce. I don't know the name of the sauce but I pretty much didn't use it. In between eating those two different dishes because yes I did try both of them, I also have falafel. Very tasty. I was very pleased with my meal and I will definitely try them again and maybe even stopping to the restaurant.

Just a small place in this newer building in the area. When you walk in the smell hits you and you know you have struck gold! Amazing Mediterranean food! I got the Beef Kafta plate. It was super yummy. The rice was literally some of the best I have ever had! The hummus was good too. Great place if you are in the area. I will be back for sure!

Pros: Delicious lamb chop platter (lamb chops doesn't get any better than this in ATL/ Hapeville ) and tasty hummus plate , grape leaves and baba ganoush. The host Sareef and the entire staff is very friendly and generous with their hospitality. It's also located in a great location with excellent parking. Cons: none Wishing this restaurant gets the recognition it 100% deserves.

Stopped here one afternoon because we were craving Mediterranean cuisine. This was our first time but not our last time here. We ordered lamb chops and falafel platter. The food was delish and plentiful. Good service with a smile. We will be back.

Walked over while staying at La Quinta! Fast, friendly, fresh (and hot!) The veggie sampler is just what this vegetarian needed after traveling in. Thank you!

One of the best Chicken Kabob meals I've ever had. Fresh quality. Perfectly cooked. First stop after arriving to Atlanta. What a hidden gem.

Looking for a cute, classy Turkish restaurant in the heart of Virginia Highlands. This is your…read morespot! I went for happy hour which I highly recommend. It's from 3-6pm Monday through Thursday (I believe). They have $6-8 cocktails and a variety of food in the $5-10 range. The food was all fantastic, as was our waiter. He constantly checked on us, kept the complimentary bread supplied, and gave great recs for both food and cocktails. I love a waiter who explains the menu so you know what you're getting into beforehand. As we were leaving, it was torrentially down-pouring and the host was so kind to let me borrow his umbrella to get to my car. It's rare to find this level of hospitality these days and it made my already great experience here even better.

Spots I would rather recommend for a nice night out are Delbar, Rumi's, and Yalda. My friends and I tried the Muhammara Dip, the Feta Cheese Rolls (reminiscent of spanakopita but no spinach and in roll form), the Truva Dumplings, and the Iskender Kebab. The Iskender Kebab and the Muhammara were the best of the bunch, but overall I think I was expecting more punch from the spices and greater nuance in the flavors of each dish. The thing I honestly enjoyed most was the complimentary bread and sun-dried tomato dip, which has gotten a number of shoutouts of Yelp already. I would come back to this spot to get a handful of appetizers, eat that bread, and hang out for a few hours. It does seem like the restaurant needs more staffing. Everyone we saw was very kind, but it took a long time to get a server's attention whenever we needed something.

This location is really clean you can smell the food when you walk into Walmart. You place your order on the order kiosk. I went for my regular order; chicken shawarma bowl and a chicken shawarma mini pita. And because I love love love their cups, I got a large drink. Because they didn't have options to put my sauce on the side or choose a shawarma bowl (had to order a chicken bowl) I spoke with the gentleman to update my order and make changes. He was professional, attentive, and personable. The gentleman repeated everything I wanted to update on my order and went to making it. I sat down for maybe 10mins and my food was ready. He waved to me and once again repeated everything that I ordered and the adjustments to my order. I left and sped home lol. When I say I was too excited to bite into my mini pita and stuff my face... I was ready ready lol. Now onto the food...... that mini pita didn't stand a chance. It is mini, but its flavor is HUGE!! The perfect combination of meat, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and that special sauce. Three or four bites and it was GONE lol. My bowl is always amazing. I get my sauce on the side because I usually eat mine in two different portions. Let's just say.... If you're a "Pita" fan like I am.... Run down to College Park Walmart and get some!!!! Staff is friendly, establishment is clean, and the food is WONDERFUL!!!

It was the kind of starter that could easily be a meal on its own. Fresh pita made it even better. The lamb was unforgettable. Perfectly cooked. Tender enough to cut with a fork. Moist. Well-marinated. Grilled with a beautiful char that added a subtle smokiness without overpowering the herbs and spices. Simple done exceptionally well. The salmon was another standout. Flaky.
