What a great experience! Let me just admit it... this was my first visit to Cava. *shame* As much as I have heard about Cava and their greatness, I usually run into one when I'm on the way out of the area. But on this day, I found myself starving and less than 10 minutes away from Cava so I figured, "Why not?!" I have visited this plaza before but on this day it was such a pain to find a parking spot! I ended up parking in front of another restaurant and I was lazy and hungry enough to consider going there instead of walking across the parking lot, lol. BUT, I stuck to my guns and went for the food I came there for. Upon entry, Cava was buzzing with customers but not overwhelming regarding the sound or crowd. Cava is one of those assembly-line, build your own kinda restaurants that I, personally, am a fan of. But it's Mediterranean style. Before visiting, I had heard so many great things about them so I was ready to dig in, but I wasn't ready for all of the great options! You have the choice of grains, greens or both for your base, various dips, proteins, veggies and more into your bowl or wrap, or you can opt for the house specialties. I decided to build my own with a combo of greens/grains, braised lamb and almost all of the veggies because they all looked SO good. My bowl ended up being so delicious. I wish I would have asked for a few more spoonfuls of veggies and lamb, but I know to do so next time. It wasn't that they skimped, but they were just so good, I wanted more. The combination of everything just meshed so well together, I thought I was taking my bowl to go but after sitting to take a few bites, I looked up and had eaten like 75% of it. Oops! Service was also exceptional. The young lady who started my bowl was so patient with me as I am always so indecisive, especially at a new place. She told me what her favorite dips were and I immediately went with those (and loved them all). When I went to the ladies room, the cashier even let me leave my food and drink near her (because who wants their food tainted by the bathroom?!) The restaurant was clean, not incredibly loud and filled with natural light. It was a great place to enjoy a peaceful solo lunch after a self care appointment. Now I see what all the hype is about!

I had a really uncomfortable experience here that completely ruined what should've been a normal visit. The manager " Kay Jay" approached me in a hostile, aggressive manner that felt totally uncalled for. Instead of calmly addressing the situation, they came at me with an attitude that was confrontational and disrespectful, making me feel talked down to and unwelcome. As a customer, you expect professionalism, especially from management, but this was the exact opposite. The way I was spoken to made me feel embarrassed and stressed, and it was clear there was no interest in resolving anything respectfully. Because of this interaction alone, I won't be returning, and I'd caution others to be prepared for how you will be treated by Kay Jay the manager if there's any issue. If I could rate my experience a negative one, I would.

Outside of the Cava. I believe the accessible entrance is on the side.

Quin & Samantha were fantastic! I ordered on the app and a few items were out but Quin was super patient and helped me figure out what to replace them with. There was no wait. I appreciate how Quin and Samantha took their time with my order because a different Cava location that won't be named always misses an item (or 2) and hands it to me anyway. Not here! This is my favorite location by far and I plan to come back!

Excellent fast casual restaurant. Very fast service, the food was really good and the portions were quite generous for the price.

Oof really underwhelming--Food and service need improvement. The staff were unkind and mumbling as I was trying to order. Then this is what I got. I paid $14 for this bowl... never again. Very disappointed in this new location.

Food (especially that lamb) is never a disappointment! Oh and that Blueberry Lavender Drink is 10/10 as well! Awesome for lunchtime!

Half empty. No lettuce, even when I paid for extra.

I have given this place so many opportunities to get my orders right. Each time, they fail. The bowl arrives half empty every time, even if you order extra greens and toppings!! Don't order extra avocado, you will never get it. Don't order a drink. You won't get it. Don't order the free pita. You will never receive it. I have ordered from this location countless times because it is close, but I will have to start ordering from other locations. I'm so tired of this. Literally NEVER. I have ordered at LEAST 10 times from this place. If you can't read the tickets at least put enough greens to have a full bite. Hate to be the spiteful guest, I work in food and bev. But over 10x is insane. Get it together. Plz

The service has always been really great, and the owner is genuinely nice and always ready for a pleasant conversation. But sometimes the food comes out... average at best? I really only come here when I have the taste for mediterranean fare but don't feel like cooking it since it's so nearby. There are some things they do well. I like their baba ganoush, hummus, and beet salad. But other things are a bit lackluster and the meats can be a hit or miss. Sometimes it's dry, other times it's succulent. The pita is toasted, but you can surely tell it isn't made fresh. My husband is obsessed with wings and even he said the wings served here are a BIG no. Also cannot recommend the fries, as they've been notoriously dry and cold. Perhaps we should not have expected good wings given that it's primarily mediterranean fare lol. The parking situation is also abysmal. They share a really small lot and the individual spots are poorly marked. This place is off of Briarcliff and the traffic is notorious for being bad, so that makes coming and going that much harder in a lot that's already a little treacherous. When the parking lot is full, it is like playing 2-ton Tetris. I'll also note that the hours can sometimes be a suggestion, and they unexpectedly close earlier than indicated (but will leave a handwritten note). This place seems to be a local favorite. The prices are nice. I just wish it was more reliable with taste and quality.

Worst of all, even if the restaurant says it accepts OpenTable dining credits, the dining credits actually could not be used in the restaurant! Or at least, the staff did not know how to use it. I ordered a simple Bombay martini and one of the specialty cocktails for my wife. The bartender made my martini in a shaker and I remember hearing him asking someone else to stir it for him. For the next ten minutes or more, the bartender proceeded to make drinks for the waiters, I remember him spilling out two drinks and remaking them while my martini continued diluting in the melting Ice. Ten minutes or more later, he pours my martini into more of a champagne coup glass than a martini glass, and I waited another five minutes or more for my wife to get her drink. When I tasted the upmartini, It tasted so diluted, just bad, almost commical to me. I just laughed to myself because i've tended bar for a living and that was about the worst martini i've ever had in my life. Either Rumi is watering down his booze or the ice melted so much that there was barely a gin taste in the glass. I think their gig is rather than give you a real martini level pour they dilute you with so much melted Ice that you think you're getting a full pour martini, when, in fact, what you're getting is half gin and half melted ice. And believe ME, you are charged as though it was a real martini. The place was pretty busy, so a lot of people must not have a clue... or just like busy places. If everybody says, this is such a great place, I guess it's gotta be. Unfortunately, that's just Atlanta-if it's popular everyone just assumes it's good or pretends it is. I don't do well with pretend. Next after being seated at the table, i tried to order wine least expensive wines (so overpriced)-they were out of all of the lower-end overpriced wines I tried to order. It just bugs me to overpay so much for bottles of table wine. They're barely twenty dollars charging, 60-80 for them. But of course, ten minutes after I ordered the wine, this happened twice, the waiter told me they were out of the ones i was trying to order ( everyone must have had the same idea). Oh well. Right before the table was served the main course, the waiter and manager came to tell me that they had run out of the dish I ordered. I ended up replacing it with their duck dish that I had never heard of before but what the hell I'll try it (maybe I deserve it, because I remember my father always told me you never ordered duck in a strange restaurant you don't know) Everyone else at the table of 8 were served their meals ten minutes before my plate arrived. i'm like, please go ahead and start without me. Then, the duck arrives. I mean, if you're such a Rumi's, fan, try the duck and tell me what you think. First of all, it was lukewarm for something that apparently had just been made. The lukewarm duck comes 'in" this purple sauce, I mean, it wasn't even swimming in the purple sauce-It was submerged in the purple sauce. The waiter, of course, later brought me the wrong type of rice than the one i oredered..That's okay they brought me a new one right away. I was really starving at the time, but if I hadn't been, I don't think I would have eaten any of the duck. Being submerged in a kind of a sickening, putple sweet sauce it just wasn't appetizing at all. Challenge: if you're a big Rumi's fan, go ahead and please try the duck, but you have to try it like I did- lukewarm temptation. Then tell me if you remain an unconditionalRumi's fan. The bread is delicious though. To their credit when I tried to order 2 glasses of red wine after my meal was served, they did give us the vin de table for free. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

My girlfriend has a very strict diet due to food sensitivities, so before ordering she specifically asked about the dough, bread, and flours used in the food. Unfortunately, instead of receiving details about the ingredients, she was simply told that she could eat it. Based on that information, she ordered the meal, but later had a reaction to the dough that was used. This was frustrating because the situation likely could have been avoided if we had been given accurate information about the ingredients from the beginning. We completely understand that not every restaurant can accommodate every dietary restriction, but being transparent about what is used in the food allows customers to make informed decisions for themselves. The food itself was good, which is why we're giving 3 stars, but the service on this particular issue left us disappointed. We hope the restaurant can do a better job of providing ingredient information when customers ask, especially for those with dietary restrictions or sensitivities.
