A hidden Indian restaurant. I decided to try this restaurant one day, and it totally surprised me with quality and quantity of food. They have plenty of menu choices. Price range $12-20. They also have vegan options. The service was fast. I felt really welcomed. The restaurant has plenty of seats and well decorated with Indian theme. Even though I got togo, their food was amazing. Highly recommended.

Butter Chicken lunch special w complimentary Naan or Rice and a Mixed Tandoori Platter.

Quite busy at lunch time, clean and friendly environment. Ordered to go the lunch curry special of butter chicken which comes with either a serving of complimentary rice or naan $14.99. Flavor was up to par for butter chicken. The Mixed Tandoori Platter which comprises of all Tandoori Flavored Chicken Meats - quite a lot of bursting flavors in this platter and received a couple tandoori shrimp as well. Only suggestion is a side of complimentary rice would be a nice touch. $16.39

OMG!!! The best Mandi I've ever had in Houston, literally reminded me of India. I've also tried their Apollo fish, it's a must try if you are a fan of Apollo fish ! The customer service was great and their ambience is lovely. I just wish it was closer to my place.

Finally a combo of Indian fast food plus eatery opened up in Westheimer and we are here for it!! We thoroughly enjoyed our first time over there, and we were please to see that they have a good mix of Indian fast food, Indian entrees like your rice and curries, and also chaat corner which is always a plus! We did order kids meal of cheese dosa but turns out it's not kids portion at all, it's a full size masala dosa which can be too much for kiddos and you'll be eating the left overs if not most of it. The biryani was on point, chicken was perfectly seasoned and I ordered Dahi puri chaat as well which was nicely prepared and was sweet and savory. We will definitely be coming back for more and to try other items from the menu.

the level of business they have speaks for itself - food is so so good! fun stuff like chicken tikka pasta and a live pani puri station. i think my favorites were the pani puri, curry leaf paneer, and onion samosa! service is quick but it was really hard to get a table. would recommend coming at an off time or weekday.

The crowd kept coming, and by the time we were done, the line appears to have grown to 1+ hour. Tip: Come early, especially on weekends! There was a sign saying that dining time is limited to 1 hour - completely understandable. Most of the clientele are South Asian - a good sign. The interior is clean and pleasant. The weekend buffet doesn't come cheap. We paid around $27 per person before tax or tips. But you get what you pay for - probably around 40 items, more than any other Indian buffet we have been to. This includes vegetarian items, meat dishes (chicken/lamb/fish), dessert, and drinks - including chai tea and rose milk. The quality is very good. We left absolutely stuffed.

I visited Naga's with a group of friends for their unlimited buffet and left with mixed feelings…read more The buffet is priced at $25 per person for both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, with drinks charged separately. The spread includes a good variety of South Indian dishes, mainly Tamil and Telugu cuisine, with plenty of vegetarian and non-vegetarian curries, rice, dosas, and other traditional favorites. The food was definitely on the spicier side. While there was a decent selection, I found the overall taste to be fairly average. Nothing was particularly memorable, and I didn't feel it justified the price. The restaurant itself was clean, the ambience was pleasant, and the staff was courteous. The biggest downside for me was being handed the bill while we were still eating. At an unlimited buffet where you're paying a fixed price, it made the experience feel rushed and took away from the relaxed dining atmosphere. Overall, it's an okay spot if you're specifically looking for an unlimited South Indian buffet, but for $25 per person, I expected a more memorable meal and a better dining experience.

Waiting to get on with my to go order…read more Maharaja Bhog is the best example of North West side of food- Gujarat and Rajasthan states of India mainly and the 'guest is special' treatment, and the best part, its 100% vegetarian! It is a thali ofcourse. The best experience is dining in. Where you even get to wash your hands at the table and use the napkin the server holds to wipe of. Then the flow of dishes start- first with chass ( buttermilk)and one more beverage - lemonade, or shikanji , all good for digestive purpose traditional Indian drinks you take with meals.... ( not in the modern kitchens...not anymore... like most food habits around all cultures across the globe ) Then chats, sabzi and piping hot any two types of bread. Its unlimited. When I go, the starve the whole day and go for dinner ... lol... its just not fair to the delicious experience otherwise... There is a huge spread. And lastly followed by ghee khichidi or either rice or millet and one more rice item, sometimes even plain rice. After u r really totally done and plates cleared. They come around with coffee or tea! If only you were sitting in a garden with 100's of tables overlooking the mountains and had noone waiting for u to clear so their can occupy the seats.... remember even those people waiting would have starved the whole day .... That day got a to-go order. Its not an experience under any comparison but food is still great. Can't wait to do my dine in again sometime.

Service started right away, Granted, this was a new experience for me - I can't speak to authenticity or even tell you what we ate or if we ate it correctl. . I can tell you that I LOVED IT. I was mixing things & trying flavor combinations. Perhaps the most impressive thing was that, for the first time I ever, I did get seconds on tofu! I didn't have to guess on what to order. Fantastic! I waved off the never-ending ladles many times or I'd probably still be there eating from bottomless bowls. It came to $112 for our party of 4 adults, which we thought was reasonable. The service was fantastic. The manager/owner (?) stopped by several times to check-in & encouraged us to eat more & skip work. Ha - staff were friendly & welcoming. If you leave here hungry, it's on you! The food starts the moment you are seated & doesn't stop until you call it. We are thrilled with our first stop after landing.

The shopping center is fairly small with limited parking, and unfortunately there isn't much shade, so it can get extremely hot. One thing to note is that they're closed on Tuesdays. Ordering was simple. You grab a menu, place your order at the register, and our food arrived in about five minutes. Before ordering, I clearly requested no cilantro on everything because I have a cilantro allergy. Unfortunately, the complimentary papdi chaat came out covered in cilantro. I had to send it back to be remade, which was frustrating since food allergies should be taken seriously. The thali itself was good. It had a nice level of spice, came with three chapatis, rice, and a good variety of curries. At $11.99, I thought it was a good value. As for the papdi chaat, I still prefer Shiv Sagar's version. It has a more generous portion of potatoes and chickpeas, and if I remember correctly, it's also about a dollar cheaper. My only other disappointment was the loyalty program. I asked to join when paying, but was told that I should pay first. Once paid, the transaction had already been completed and it won't let me join. Perhaps they think we are a one time customer, so why join the program? Overall, I'm glad I gave this place a try and found another Indian restaurant in the Gandhi District. I'd definitely come back for the thali, but I hope they improve their attention to food allergies and make the loyalty program process more welcoming.
