Glasses that I bought at the Jamison store were scratched and I brought them back understanding I would need to pay for new lenses. The person I met with explained that the frames purchased in 2022 were not something they would be comfortable using and I would need to pay new frames. These are metal flexible frames in good condition. My wife and I have used this store for multiple glasses over the years. Apparently they are more concerned about making a sale over doing what is right for their customers. I will not use them again and recommend finding another eyeglass option. Who does this? This is my first Yelp review! I'm new to Bucks County and having to find all new "go to" places. Eye exam, new frames etcetera where low on my list of things to tackle until I scratched my current lenses in a place that was not ideal to function daily. So, off I went to Yelp! to find help! Based on reviews, location and insurance coverage compatibility, I gave Design for Vision a ring. From the moment I called to moment I left today, the experience was inviting, super helpful and down-to-earth. An awesome bonus was after working with Jo to order new lenses, she quickly helped me address a few other eye care accessory needs after I curiously asked a few questions. I can now confidently cross this "to do" off my list. I'll continue to work with Design for Vision as long as I'm in the area (never know if might flee back Jersey!). I cannot believe what an incredible experience I had here. I was walking by, not expecting to be even remotely interested in their inventory. Boy was I wrong. Huge selection of styles and manufacturers to choose from. First of all, the three sales associates, Elle, Kate, and another I did not catch her name, were so friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and on point. From beginning to end of the transaction, they guided me through it with the utmost professionalism and lively personalities to boot. Helping me with frames, working with the on site optometrist, measuring my frames, to handling my insurance and store discounts--they offered me absolutely excellent and seamless customer service. (If I were to open a similar business in the area, I would swoop in to hire them in a second) Secondly, I have had numerous appointments with optometrists over the span of my life--Dr. Gorduke is by far the best I have ever been treated by. Her manner is unparalleled. I am so happy to have discovered this little gem of a place in Bucks County. I'll be a customer forever. read more

Not an ideal experience. I will keep this short. I wear (and have been wearing) progressive lenses. I was surprised that there are multiple levels of progressive lenses from inexpensive to very expensive at Design for Vision. I chose the mid level design lenses. Very expensive even with my insurance but they would have costed more had I chosen the top tier. The frames I chose with the assistance of Elizabeth were nice. All in all a nice combination of lenses and frames. Here's where it gets interesting. The right lenses developed some cloudy spots after about 2 weeks. No issue Elizabeth helped me get them replaced. I also had issues adjusting to these lenses which was surprising since I have been wearing progressives for years. After another week that same lenses developed scratches. These were supposed to have the scratch resistant coating and not scratch so easily. I am very anal about using the proper cleaning cloth for my lenses. Not critical at the time but proves this will become an issue over a short period of time. I brought them back again. They were replaced but after another week when the glasses came back from their lab, Elizabeth phoned me and stated they did not pass their inspection. They had to go back again. My patience has run out. These glasses have been in their shop longer than I owned them. What's extremely frustrating is this was the most expensive pair of glasses I ever paid for. I went back to my old optometrist and had a really nice pair of glasses for less than half what I paid to Design for Vision. I want to thank Elizabeth for her tireless efforts to make this right and I know she tried and this was not her fault. Elizabeth did provide a full refund and reinstated my eye insurance immediately. Maybe this company should take a long hard look at their lab. The 3 stars are based solely on Elizabeth's excellent customer service efforts. read more

I don't write reviews, so while I share my experience, please know that it is most definitely noteworthy. My experience at Design for Vision was one that exceeded my expectations with the personal level of customer service, (which is becoming a lost art), professionalism, talent and a passion that shows in every facet of what they do. They strive, achieve and exceed perfection. Adam and his entire staff are phenomenal!. They have a magnificent selection of frames at all different price points. For the first time, it was one stop shopping, my daughter had her exam and fell in love with the designer frames. Then I also needed glasses and Adam and his staff ever so patiently and never rushed us (we were there a several hours) trying to find the perfect frame for my daughter and then myself. We have since been returning customers and I would NEVER think about going anywhere else. We have purchased 6 pairs of prescription eyewear from Design for Vision and every one was made flawlessly and without having to have lenses remade! They are truly precisely skilled and I get so many compliments on my glasses and refer many friends to Adam at Design for Vision. They have the BEST selection of frames compared to their competitors COMBINED and are reasonable priced. You will be most impressed and you'll be telling your friends. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. In all my years, I have never encountered such a committed, genuinely compassionate, professional staff and an amazing selection of frames. Honestly, they give you all the time you need and offer honest feedback in terms of helping you select frames based on your facial features. As a side note- before learning of Design for Vision, we had a horrible experience at a different provider and always had to go "frame shopping" until my daughter could find what she liked, this took 4 or more stores, more time than I had to invest in selecting the perfect choice for my daughter, but as picky as teenagers are, I knew if she didn't love them, she wouldn't wear them. Design for Vision eliminates all that and provides 1 stop shopping with an amazing selection of frames to die for time and time again and a staff that are invested in the business and EVERYONE goes the extra mile. read more
