Said request was quickly denied. However, once I was ready to move forward they, then began driving the price up with "extras/add-ons" it was pathetic to say the least. The lady that runs the front office has the worst customer service, I have ever seen to date. Not to mention the fact that they force you to pay 50% upfront. However, in Pennsylvania the law only requires a contractor to request 1/3 payment upfront. They're not allowed to take any more than that and then essentially, You pay the other 2/3rds "30 days after the install is complete". I brought this information to the attention of the lady who runs the front office, after doing so, she went to her office and called the owner "Dennis Bates" and informed him of the information I passed about the law. Apparently his answer was, "I've always done business this way"! So basically he admitted that he's been breaking the law since he's been in business??? Makes you want to think huh??? Honestly, I would steer clear of this place! Sometimes you just have to take a step back and think... Is getting something cheap really worth it? Or what's the catch? I was actually going to go through and purchase countertops through these people but the last straw was drawn when they sent me an invoice via PayPal in which the owner " Dennis Bates" has it set up as a cash advance.
