I have left a prior review with all the bad things that happened to me by employing Task Flooring…read moreand dealing with the owner Steve Moore. this week I had to have all my flooring that were laid by Task Flooring removed from my home. I asked him to put moisture barrier under the vinyl floors and he told me it was not needed and the rep from the company told him it wasn't needed.(I have text messages showing this conversation between us). I had well over 1000 feet of flooring done. they peeled, curled and sunk all because he did not do them right. The company with the flooring said that he would not have been told that.Right on their web sight it says use moisture barrier.I have a report from an independent inspector that states the cause is due to the installer not doing the job right. I am now paying to put new floors in my house by another contractor who has showed me underneath each vinyl board he picks up is water and moisture.This was all due to the bad job Task Flooring did. I was told it all could been avoided if Task Flooring would have done it right. Steve Moore the owner who did the floors himself in my home and is not pleasant to talk to . The only thing he has said to me is that he only guarantees his work for one year. this flooring was suppose to last approximately 15 years. It has only been 3 years. I was given a recommendation from Arizona Tile thinking they would have someone good. Not so. Save yourself money and stress by not using this company. I found them to lie and be dishonest. Many more unfavable things happened which would take me forever to write. No I am not happy that this man and his company didn't do the job right and costing me Thousands of Dollars. BEWARE BIG TIME

Todd from Oz Stone & Ceramics is hands down the best contractor we've ever worked with!…read more We had been procrastinating on replacing the original shower in our home that was built in 2007. All of the quotes we got were outrageous - including a $24,000 quote from ReBath we had to suffer through a 3-hour presentation in our home just to hear. And that stuff is just plastic! Anyway, we knew we wanted something custom, which included: 1. Full demo / removal of the old bench seat 2. Floor-to ceiling large tiles (Minimal grout lines) 3. Custom floor (No pre-fab pan) 4. Dual shower head with 3-way valve 5. Frameless door 6. New vent fan (Our old one couldn't keep the mold out) You can see from the video our original shower was just gross. The caulking was worn out, there was water damage on the wall from leaks and mold, the tile was dated and I had to duck under the frame of the door every time I entered the shower. Todd came in for a quote and was super professional right from the start. He gave his honest advice on our design ideas and worked with us to find the right price for the work. I'm old school so these things matter to me - he looks you in the eye when speaking to you, explains things plainly and always shows up on time. He made a great first impression AND his quote was very reasonable. From demo to final product it took about 6 business days. Todd was very tidy and made sure to always pick up his mess at the end of each day. Honestly he was so neat he really didn't have much to pick up since he was always vacuuming and taping things off so well during the process. He was sure to check in with us throughout each day, making sure we liked the progress and asking approval when needed. He did all of the plumbing, electrical and tile work himself! We needed a custom piece of glass to fit our odd-shaped shower frame and he brought in Jose from Nwegen shower doors - he's worked with him for more than 16 years. Jose did an amazing job on (what I consider) a giant piece of custom glass and industrial hinges. First thing the Jose said to me when he got here was "I love working with Todd because I never have to second guess his measurements and things are always level." Seems like simple stuff but you know how they slap houses together now - things are rarely level to begin with. We are absolutely ecstatic about our new shower. There is so much more room inside, the dual shower heads are awesome and easy to adjust and best of all - no more ducking under the bar to get inside! Todd was so great to work with we were already hitting him with ideas for the rest of the bathroom before he was halfway finished with the shower. We have used several different contractors on our home and he has been by FAR the best professional connection we have made. Can't recommend him highly enough.

I just had additional concrete added to my pool deck/patio by Bob. His concrete work is A+ top notch. When I was first looking to get my pool deck/patio installed I was nervous about hiring a concrete contractor as I had heard horror stories and seen horrendous work. I met with several different concrete installers who promised high quality work. (Especially the extremely low-cost installers...UGH! run away from them as fast as you can!). After doing my homework on everyone I hired Bob because his customers spoke highly about him and the photos of his work were fantastic. He stood far above the others based on his reputation and previous work. I was not disappointed. I got a wonderful looking pool deck/patio that drained properly...not one low spot or "bird bath" as they are called. The finish was perfect and the edges were smooth and consistent. I did a curved pool deck and the curves were perfect...not wavy or inconsistent. He even took care of sleeves/futures under the patio for lighting wire and sprinkler lines to the remote planters though I forgot to ask about that. He just did it. He thinks about things you may want in the future and makes sure what he does leaves you access to add those things should you ever want them. There are a lot of people/companies out there who say they do professional quality concrete and general construction work but they don't deliver like Robert Berney Construction. Two of the cabinets installed had to be reset by the granite countertop guy in order to make them level and not look weird. He never finished the trim around the cabinets. Eddie and his plumber replaced the water and drain lines in the kitchen. The kitchen sink would not drain after being reinstalled. Every other drain in the house drained fine other than the drain they worked on and it drained fine before they worked on it. When told about it Eddie would not take responsibility for it. This sink ties into the same drain line as all the other plumbing in the house and everything else drained fine. The quality of work is sub par and then when asked to make it right Eddie becomes argumentative and defensive about his mistakes.
