It's a four color paint to look custom and rustic but modern at the same time. Nate made all mitered cuts and put the frames up perfectly. This was a large project that involved removing the garage door, retrofitting 3 sets of doors, framing and finishing for a custom look, inside and out. They even installed special thresholds so we could be assured of being able to roll equipment in and out of the space easily. After each stage of the job, the crew cleaned up the area and removed all debris. The price quoted us initially was in line with competitors, better than several, who failed to follow up with us. There was no cost-creep, and we finished at the price quoted us. Progress and payment was tracked on their online job project site, which was an added benefit and inspired confidence. After obtaining additional estimates from other contractors, we were advised that several of the smaller handyman-type items included in the proposal appeared to be significantly overpriced. As a result, we requested that those items be removed from the scope of work. However, despite removing multiple services, the overall project cost remained essentially unchanged, which further raised concerns. We ultimately decided to limit the project to repairing our shower pan leak. At that point, Nathan informed that the company could no longer do business with us. Unfortunately, this left us feeling that the focus was more on maximizing the project value than on addressing our actual needs as customers. We value transparency, clear communication, and flexibility when making significant home improvement decisions, and our experience did not reflect those expectations.

The reason for my 1-star rating is because when we were ready to schedule, we called and called and no one ever answered. My husband also tried and left messages that were never returned. I know they are a busy company, but it shouldn't be that hard to schedule once a quote has been provided. Perhaps Doug needs to hire a receptionist to help with phones. We ended up going with another company and I'm so glad we did. They did a wonderful job! They were also Yelp verified and backed by a $2,500 protection by Yelp. We chose a smaller company where we had direct access to the owner and communication was never a problem. The owner was also onsite every day of the job.

My parents ended up getting a beautiful high-end carpet with quality padding, and everything was installed exactly as promised on the scheduled date. After the job was finished and paid for then they were honest about not using the soft memory foam pad we chose and wanted. They never mentioned they were using a different pad, not on the phone or when we went to the showroom and spoke to them in person. They assured us we would be getting the same memory foam as we had purchased before. I still do not believe that the pad, they chose to put in was a memory pad because it is as hard as a cement floor. It is like walking around in the most uncomfortable and painful shoes and you can never take them off. All I wanted was soft padding and they failed me! There is no way to rip it out and replace it at this point. We rented two storage containers and paid a moving company to take everything out of the house and put it all back. Who is going to pay for that?

Not to purchase additional material, but to simply get an exchange since we got sent the wrong shade on accident. If the communication was there we would have reached out to this business directly, but it hasn't been, so we saved ourselves the headache and contacted the manufacturer. We never gave permission for our property to be shared publicly. When we addressed everything, ownership told us we could pay $1,000 and take our business elsewhere. That response speaks volumes.

They did not have the product we wanted but were able to special order it. The price was extremely competitive vs o the local flooring companies. There was a slight delay but Sherry kept us informed the entire time. Highly recommend and can't wait to do our stairs and 2nd floor with Murrieta Flooring.
