Four years ago, Designers Touch put in all our Landscaping. Today we were getting ready to leave on a weekend long trip and our sprinkler system would not shut off something went wrong with it. My neighbor had his front yard landscaped by Designer's Touch Landscape. It was so beautiful, I knew I wanted to contact them to see what they could do with my backyard. This is a family run business, their son Philip met with me to go over what I wanted. I had a budget I needed to try and stay within, Philip and his father worked with me through out the project. Additional things needed to be added along the way, but they explained everything, were very patient, and had every addition in writing so I knew what I was spending. I asked them to come out and give me a quote on a small French drain project. They promptly came out, inspected and quoted me which other companies failed to do do as they said they would. Their quote was much better then other companies and their expertise was quickly noticeable. I would STRONGLY recommend you at least give them a call and let them give you a quote. I am a happy repeat customer of Designer's Touch Landscaping. They redesigned my entire front yard, my entire backyard, including a Koi Pond, and this time around they raised and enclosed my olive tree to provide additional backyard seating next to our grill. They are definitely not the cheapest around, but their work is definitely worth it. I called three different companies to get quotes to have my front yard completely re-landscaped. Designer's Touch was one of them, but they were the most responsive to me and never let me think I was just another number (unlike one or two other companies did). The other companies I called for estimates either stopped responding to me when I asked for more info (like asking for things to be broken down in the estimate so I could decide if I wanted to do some parts of the project in stages because the total estimate they gave me was a budget stretcher), or they never got me an estimate at all. One company boasted how busy they were, and the message I got from our conversation was that they didn't really need my business (they were the ones who never responded to my requests for more info after they gave me an initial estimate). Everyone at Designer's Touch was friendly, responsive, and worked hard to give me a yard that would make me smile every time I came home and saw it. From beginning to end I felt as though they really did want me to be happy with the outcome, and they treated me like a friend. Phone calls and emails were returned promptly, and I was never left hanging for an answer to any of my questions. The day the project was done I met neighbors I'd never seen before because they stopped by to have a look and compliment me on the new yard, and also asked to get the number of the company who did it. I don't think it's too much to say that I now have the best front yard on the block, which is exactly what I wanted. To start we choose not to use Camarena landscape. They were extremely helpful and professional on the phone. One of the sons come out and gave us a quote and went through some designs. They were fast with giving us a quote and breakdown. Up to that point everything was great. Thing fell apart when I tried to change some of the design to lower the cost. They would not listen and were not flexible. After I told them I would go with their company if they cut the items I wanted to save some money they completely ghosted me. I got ripped off from another landscaper that won an award from AV newspaper so I thought I was in good hands. Waited 3 months didn't do anything, they were very rude lost my deposit. I however, believe in CARMA. If your crocked people it will come back on you 10 times more. However, if your are kind, trustworthy and treat you like family it will come back to greet you on a silver platter and Designers Touch Landscaping is just this my yards are beautiful I feel like I'm in another world. We contacted them for a quote to landscape our backyard after the pool was installed. When they came out to look at the space my wife told Todd she wanted a backyard paradise. The quote came in higher than we had anticipated so we looked at getting other quotes but after seeing pictures of their work online we decided to go with them. We were kept informed of all progress from design to start date, they are a family run business and we could call them with questions any time and we did. After seeing the design they created for our yard we were very excited, it was about 6 weeks before they could start our project and took 6-7 days to complete. Danny and Tina were very pleasant to work with from beginning to end. Great customer service! They went out of their way to pick up and assemble the playset for our kids and for that, we are truly grateful! They even hauled away old furniture and electronics we no longer use for free. Danny has a lot of great landscape design ideas. The one Danny picked for us works well for our family.  We love the bike path for our kids. The sod they put in is of excellent quality. We constantly get compliments on it. It's so green! The trees they planted are great as well. The flowers on the trees and wisteria are in bloom. They are beautiful! They also planted plants in the front and back and they look great! We also love the edging they put in the front and the landscape lighting they installed for us. We had a freestanding patio and attached patio cover installed and Danny worked with our patio people. He arranged to get the electrical work done for them and also poured the concrete for our freestanding patio. What we loved the most about working with Designer's Touch is the way they handled the issue we had about the mismatched color of our existing concrete and the concrete they poured. Instead of just brushing us off, Danny addressed our concern and fixed it. He made sure we were satisfied with the work they did. We have so much respect for them for doing that. The stamped concrete and our existing concrete now match flawlessly in design and in color. Designer's touch is a great family owned business. If you want a new yard that is exactly what you want, Designer's Touch is the company to go with. We worked primarily with Todd, who was professional, responsive and easy to work with. Over a couple weeks, Todd worked with us - through text, email, phone calls and coming to our home - to create a design that would exactly fit us; he was also incredibly patient with my numerous revisions. Any time we had a question, he responded right away and explained everything in detail - we never once felt like there would hidden costs or last minute increases (and there weren't any). The end product is even better than what I was hoping for and worth every penny we spent. Plus, once they started construction, the project was done in less than a week. Everyone followed up with us often to make sure we were happy. Honestly, one of the best experiences I have ever had working with any contractor in the AV (and we've worked with quite a few for both indoor and outdoor projects). Contracted with this company to landscape my backyard. After providing an initial down payment, I was told they would start in 2 weeks. After 6 weeks the owner came out to review the yard with his son. He said he would due part of it non 4/29 and would return on Monday to complete the job. They did not return and my yard was left open, after I had explained the criminal element in the neighborhood and that the security of the property was important. When I called to get a rebate on my deposit, I was told by thr "Mrs" there would no rebate, they were keeping the entire sum. Buyer beware with this company. They are unethical and unprofessional. I have since contracted with another company to clean up their mess. read more

I contacted this company after getting a card from an employee who was working in my neighbor's house. I asked how much they charge monthly; the lady said $ 195. I called her back to tell the lady that I would like to have their services to take care of my front yard and back yard. Then she said she would be sending somebody to see what kind of work my house needs because the price she gave me is the basic. Finally, they never came and the lady never called again. Price was decent until they decided they wanted to run a pipe from the main in the front of my house to the back. Cutting thru my brick patio. Price went from $5000 to an estimated $14000 as of this morning. Not to mention I didn't receive a quoted contract from them. I had to get in touch with them a month later. Nice family, but questionable pricing and practices. Greenbee was willing to work with the water available in the back yard and warranty the irrigation and grass. Just to be fair, this is not the cheap route to go. Called and scheduled an appt for landscaping my front yard with some drought tolerant landscape. Todd came out and he was a nice guy and told me he could design something for $10k. I called him and asked him to come back by to walk the lawn one more time to get a vision of what he's thinking (prior to me signing a contract). He never came back or sent me any sketches/ digital renderings of what he was thinking of doing. I just signed a contract with another company who sent me the digital rendering and a drawing prior to having me sign. I contacted Danny the owner of DT landscape to do a complete clean out of my dated backyard. Danny and his crew removed multiple pine trees, junipers, dead grass and multiple truck loads of lava rock. His crew is hard working, polite and cleaned up at the end of every day. Danny is very flexible and made sure my job was done right. I'm very picky but so is he, which is great. I was very pleased with the work. If i could rate no stars I would. There are no words for the disappointment I feel from this company. I called for a free consultation and the lady Tina was great! I told her my needs and she set an appointment for that same week, so that was good. Idk if the guy that came out was her son, but he was terrible !!!! I kept explaining to him exactly what I wanted but he continued to try and "up-sale" me. He kept on trying to convince me to spend more and more money. At one point he showed me a picture of a palmtree that was over 10k! Is he crazy! The second I told him I was on a budget and only wanted what I was asking for (drains, 20x20 slab,and sawed) he was halfway out the door! Terrible customer service! He told me he would be emailing me with a quote and a blue print but I NEVER got any response back. It's been 3weeks .
