I waited 2 years and 4 months to bring to your attention because I knew that you would only offer excuses because that was how you handled the first large crack that I told you about. I also knew that the only remedy would be to completely tear out the new cement, destroying my new backyard, and then pouring concrete again. Another mess to clean up after your crew. These cracks are because Clifford initially placed the footings in the wrong location. He didn't listen to the paying client, and he had to re-position them. Rather than discussing any potential issues that might arise from repositioning them, or properly moving them to prevent this issue, he just moved them. The cracks are a result. I also figured if I have to look at these failures, so should you, and any potential consumer that is shopping for a cement contractor. When these cracks become a tripping hazard, as they quickly are, I will find a professional cement contractor to fix what your company has installed. CONSUMER BEWARE: Upfront friendly, quick response, and competitive pricing...if conflict or issues arise, don't expect resolution, expect excuses. Expect rudeness and unprofessionalism. Once the bill has been paid, you're on your own. This has been my honest experience.

I wish I can give a review rating of more than 5 stars for this concrete company. Ramon and his crews are truly the gold standard in the concrete business! They just completed a major concrete project for my house totaling over 2,400 sq ft of concrete and done to perfection! I got a bunch of quotes for this concrete project at my house recently and talked to a bunch of different concrete companies and personnel. I found Au's quote to be the most comprehensive and cost-effective out of the six of so quotes that I received. Also, Ramon came across as prompt, pleasant, courteous, top tier, and highly experienced in concrete work (he worked the Sixth Street Bridge project in LA for years - pouring all that concrete!). I figured that I would be in good hands with Au Standard Concrete and Ramon and selected their bid for the concrete work for my house. In hindsight, I was totally correct when all is said and done! The work proceeded without a glitch (well at least from my home owner's perspective anyway). Everything progressed smoothly as promised and finished promptly right on the day Ramon promised it would be done. Ramon and his crew showed up promptly @7am every day to first perform the demolition, excavation, base prep, and forms for the concrete pour. Then on the day that the concrete trucks were scheduled they showed up promptly at 5am to prep the site for the concrete pour then finished the concrete and performed final site cleanup, all done by 2pm in the same day. The resulting concrete was just beautiful and met and exceeded all my wishes and expectations. Ramon added important touches to my concrete project that I did not even think of nor requested/specified in my original bid, such as giving my circular gazebo concrete pad a slight slope from the center of the circle out to the outside perimeter to facilitate water draining in the rains. Ramon and his crews did exceptional work. They made this major concrete project at my house look easy with all their experience, right personnel, and the right equipment. They also had great manners and lots of respect for my house and property while working this concrete project at my house. My house was left in better shape than when they started the work. To my absolute shock, two months later, Sky Ready Mix sent me a notice demanding that I pay for the materials because the contractor failed to pay them. They even threatened to place a Lien on my house! Here is why this company is highly unprofessional:1.Zero Verification: As a material supplier, they failed to verify the contractor's license or collect any valid credit information. They admitted they only had a name and a fake phone number for the guy. How can a professional business extend credit to someone with zero credentials?2.Lack of Documentation: No one in my household ever signed for the delivery. I didn't even know the name of this company until I received the threat. 3.Unfair Business Practices: They allow irresponsible contractors to use their materials and then force the homeowners to pay twice. It feels like a coordinated trap between them and shady contractors. It is incredibly frustrating to be victimized by their negligence. Do not trust them with your project. Their lack of internal management and "pay me or I'll lien your house" tactics are predatory and unacceptable.
