I have been a long-time customer if Destee Nation when I am in Seattle and was satisfied with their shop. I agree with many previous reviews that their mail order has much to be desired. I placed an order for 2 t-shirts that were in stock (according to their website) on 4/5/20. It is now 3 months later and I have still not received them. These are pricier t-shirts. I spent over 70.00 on 2. I have contacted DN numerous times and have been told I'd receive my order in 5-10 business days, each time. I requested my order be cancelled 4 weeks ago and be issued a full refund. This has been ignored. This has nothing to do with COVID, because previous reviews state the same issues. This has to do with a disrespect of their customers. I live in the east coast and love Seattle small businesses. I have been supporting many of them during this time and have received my orders quickly. DN seems to not care about their customers. Avoid mail order at all costs. You may be safe going in to the shop and walking out with your merchandise. read more

Great idea, but they don't pull it off at all. The listed phone # is out of order. You stop by during business hours and it is closed. I even emailed them per the recorded message from the 800# and got no response. Not sure how you can survive by not having inventory online and by not making your wares available during your own listed business hours???? I'm sure there are available business managers out there needing jobs to make yours work. read more

I finally received a replacement shirt in the mail almost a month and a half after I placed the original order. Apparently this company was going through some management changes, so there were hiccups in their operations. Hopefully things will be better now. read more

My friends back in Jacksonville keep telling me to make sure I bring back stuff from Seattle. Now, I hate buying the typical tourist garb, crappy space needle keychains, salmon packed in ice but I love coming here to pick up swag, especially since the shirts have establishments that I can represent. This week, every shirt is 40% off since they are switching to their locally made shirts but I was able to score a sweet Tractor shirt for like 14 bucks!! Sweet deal! I love this place. Tee-shirts from all over Seattle, locally printed. I love to bring out of town friends here cause they can get a piece of Seattle, without having to tool all around town to find the coolest tee. And it's right across from the Red Door!! You should check them out through the year cause they have specials and sales where you can get shirts for a real bargain - makes great Holiday gifts. read more

Great selection of unique T's. Very user-friendly web site too. I've ordered shirts from them 3 times now, and always get a quick confirmation and rapid delivery. Seems like my shirts arrived within 3 days of ordering. I like that shipping is included in the cost of the shirt. read more

Ordered a shirt that was listed as in stock, then got an email that said they didn't have it and would check with production and get back to me and wouldn't charge my account until they had an answer. In the mean time my credit card was hit with fraudulent charges. This was the only time I have used the card, so there was no other vendor that could have left my number open to fraud. Now that Amex has sent me a new card I guess they wont be able to run the old # and send me my shirt. Bottom line, I have no shirt, but a new credit card, and someone in the UK got a pair of airline tickets. read more

Ordered a tee on December 12th, 2017 as a gift. Took my credit card. Shirt never received. Company has not responded to attempts to contact them, and today, Feb. 22nd 2018, mailbox is "full". This is theft as far as I'm concerned. Very disappointed, as there selection is awesome-if they ever deliver. Considering legal action. Will certainly report to the BBB and any other consumer agencies. Such a shame. read more

I found this t-shirt store right before the holidays and just freaked. It's the coolest idea I've seen in a long time. I'm always buying t-shirts from my favorite bars and now I can go get them all in one place. It's brilliant. Whenever I go in the shop, I end up seeing t-shirts from a bunch of places I've been meaning to check out. Whoever's picking these places knows what they're doing. Best part: they give part of the sale back to each of the businesses. I bought all my Christmas gifts from them, and everyone was psyched. read more

The way this store runs a business is a joke! Don't believe what you see when ordering shirts on their site. When it says "limited stock" in a particular size, trust me, they don't have it. Then they will give you the regular answer, "the size you requested in currently out of stock but we will be getting more of them in soon". Then they say they just got them in and your order will be shipped next week. Meanwhile, weeks go by without a word or your shirts. The shirts themselves are nice but the way they do business is frustrating. If you don't have something, say you don't have it, don't mislead consumers by saying it is in limited stock. How hard is that? read more

Last year I was walking past this place and decided I'd check it out. Once inside I started to discover the most amazing selection of shirts from the places that I've been hanging out in Seattle since I moved here in the mid 90's (no I'm not from California). I've been shopping there every month since. I just wish they've create some kind of shirt-of-the-month club so that I could sign up and have the latest stuff sent to me regularly. read more

On two separate occasions I have ordered a t-shirt thru this company's website and BOTH times I have had fraudulent activity on my credit card within 2-3 weeks after ordering. Not sure if their online checkout process is not secure (as they claim it to be) or if someone there is helping themselves to credit card numbers ... but ... once is a coincidence, twice is a red flag that something is wrong. I've NEVER had such an awful customer service experience. It's not that they're being rude, they're just straight up ignoring me. I placed an order back in August for a shirt I wanted to take on trip with me. It didn't arrive in time for my trip (no big deal) and so I took my vacation and forgot about the shirt. Come late November, I remember the shirt again. I look at my bank account and the money has been deducted. I emailed the company twice from the website, called them twice and left messages. Finally I resorted to Facebook. That's the only place I was acknowledged. But barely even so. I reached out to them, they asked for some information, I provided it, and week by week goes by as I never hear anything again. It's obvious they've viewed my message, but apparently they have no time to respond to me. (I've attached a photo of the conversation on my Google review.)
