Only went there for the motor clothes...had to pick up a few gifts. It's easy to find, right off the freeway. I appreciate the hours too...makes it easy to fit into a travelers schedule. They have a nice selection of items, just not a great size selection. And don't bother to ask if they have any more sizes in stock...just save yourself from the rude stare and comment from the sales girl. Seriously, you are bothering her when you ask for help, so fend for yourself. I would have walked away with two other sweatshirts and a jacket if they had anything other than small and medium, but oh well. We drove all the way to Tacoma simply because we got the best treatment. We live less than a block from Cycle Barn in Lynnwood, but they pale in comparison in customer service to Destination. They don't try to "sell you" and they have the cost printed right there on the bike. Awesome. read more

We went to several shops and Destination is by the far the best around here. Big selection and no high pressure sales. They really do make an effort to fit you with something right, and they do not make it just about the money. Nikki made us feel so welcomed the very second we walked in. From start to finish, she was great! She made sure to let us browse without hovering, checked in on us, and suggested several bikes that were great deals and the right fit for my husband. She went above and beyond that day, when she took her time to play and hold our toddler and gave him snacks while we were dealing with paperwork, on top of all of her work. Not only was she a great salesperson, she showed me that she was a great person overall. She called my husband the morning after we purchased a bike to make sure he got home alright, knowing that he was a first time motorcycle owner and had limited experience in riding. Ed, the owner, was also great. Before we even knew he was the owner, he greeted us while we were browsing and let us know that they are there to answer any of our questions. After the sale was completed, he came by personally to give us his card and told us if we ran into any trouble with the bike, he would personally come with his tow truck and get us, night or day. I don't know about you, but honestly, he did not have to do that. Only shows that they really do care about their customers. And this is exactly how businesses get repeated, loyal customers. This is a follow-up to my review dated 15 August. The owner called me and spoke with me regarding my experience the other day regarding the 10k mile check on my bike. I shared my thoughts with him and he was very receptive. IMHO this is how a business should be run. The actual work on the bike was fine. The communication process with the customers could be fined tuned though. I have been a long time customer and have pretty much always had good experiences with sales, parts and service. I appreciated the call from Ed Wallace and I hope that it provided some good feedback for an improved experience with the service department. To sum things up - two thumbs up! ;) read more

Have been to all the motorcycle dealers in the area and others in southern Washington, not once did somebody try to help me or answer any questions (non Harley). Went to this Dealer and was surprised by how friendly the staff was. Everybody was eager to just say hi and make sure if I needed help I had it. Never once did I feel pushed into a sale. The sales associates were there like an assistant to answer questions and give ideas. I felt very comfortable purchasing a used motorcycle from them and they stayed late to close the deal.. I have been to many HD locations in many different states, and the Tacoma/Fife location has always been my favorite location. The merchandise department is always kept tidy, things are easy to find, and the sales gals are always very helpful. Parts department is also kept in an orderly fashion, easy to find stuff, and if not able to find stuff, the parts guys are very helpful. I hate high pressure salespeople. You don't find that at this location. The salespeople let you browse bikes without hovering. Our sales guy was Matt, and he bent over backwards to get the sale completed as painlessly as possible. We didn't see what we wanted earlier in the week, and we chatted with Matt for a bit. He said, "we just checked in a bike that's in the service department right now, it's real sweet, do you want to look at it?" he described the bike and we agreed to look at it, and we went looking for it. it was love at first sight. we said we would have to think about it, and left.. a couple days later, we went back to get it, but it was Matt's day off. Nicki helped us, and she was awesome. We had to come back the next day to finish the sale because of some financing requirements. Matt was there. We finally got the sale completed, and he took the bike over to my car, and then gave my significant other a little lesson in the features, answered questions, and just BSed with us a little. He is awesome. The store was swamped that day because of Steppenwolf being there for a concert, but he was patient and gave us his undivided attention. It was cool. So, if you're going to buy a bike, stop in and talk to Matt. Love our new bike. Just wish they stocked boots in larger sizes for women, I wear a 13 and had to buy men's boots, which isn't a big deal. My significant other wears 14 wides and couldn't find ones to fit him either, which is typical, most every place else only stocks up to men's 13, and women's 11, so we are used to not finding shoes to fit us. read more

Don't think a dealership could get much better than this. The service writers and Mark, the service manager are awesome to work with. Always super friendly and looking to help you in any way they can. Also extremely knowledgeable and give you their honest opinions on parts or certain products. Plus the techs do great work and you can really tell they take pride in their work. All of them I have spoken with don't seem to mind taking the time to talk to you. Everyone you have working for you is amazing. I'm always, without fail greeted at the front door. As little as that may seem to some, it's huge to me. The ladies are all very nice and fun! Allen is my hero! He knows his stuff and I completely trust him and his guidance. He is quality people! Wanted to take a short ride and possibly BUY a new Harley Trike. I scheduled a ride and was called by sales. One of the first words out of this woman's mouth were, "do you have a license to drive a trike". I've been driving trikes since before this woman was born. I said, "I need a license to test out a trike in the parking lot?" She said "yes". You know, my money is good in every state and definitely other HD dealers. I was quickly discouraged from buying a trike from this place. If I have to have a trike license "which you don't" just to buy a trike then there is something wrong. After an extremely disappointing experience at another dealership the previous day, we decided to give Destination a shot. On Sunday morning we called the Silverdale location to ask if the 2 units we were interested in were still available. The salesman we spoke with said they were, so we suited up and made the 2 hour ride. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by every single member of the staff we encountered. When our salesman, Eric, introduced himself to us, he was relaxed and genuine. We briefly related our horror story of the previous day and were assured that this was NOT the way his dealership treated their customers. We took our first choice for a test run and fell in love. The bike was mechanically sound, beautiful to look at and had most of the options we were looking for. They were willing to negotiate not only on the sales price, but also on our trade in. The entire process was pretty stress free. We felt like we were welcomed into the Destination Family when we were handed the keys. Kudos to Eric and all of the Destination Harley Davidson crew! I called looking for a shirt that another dealer said destination HD had & I spoke with Amanda, right off the bat she was very rude and made it seem like helping me get this $80 shirt was a burden and waste of her time. I wasn't just going to buy the shirt that day but after dealing with her and having her hang up on me while I was still looking for things I just ordered everything online and paid the shipping. Dropped into their sales department to look at bikes with a friend. They have a decent selection of bikes there and are overpriced, if I'm honest, but it's a dealership after all. The sales woman kept saying "the STICKER price is $#,### if you catch my drift" as if to say "I know the bike is overpriced, make an offer". We made an offer low enough to match what a private seller would most likely all for (about $500 less than NADA recommended dealership price) and she almost laughed. Yes I know you have to keep the lights on but seriously that particular bike was truly overpriced, upgrades our not. We haggled for a little bit and they ultimately weren't able to come down to my friends monthly payment (self imposed) limit. We left. The shop is a little off the beaten path but is quite large once you're there. There are tons of riders just chilling in the parking lot like it's a hot hangout, LoL! They had a food truck in the parking lot which added to the hangout factor. Inside is well lit, they have tons of bikes, and even more parts and accessories. We never felt pressured by the staff, just the opposite actually; a little ignored truth bee told. Ultimately we did not buy that day and most likely won't in the future. However, if you're in the market, it isn't a bad place to start your search. read more

We had been looking at bikes for about a month. We had never been to this location and were not having any luck finding the bike for us at other Harley dealers. Destination had a good selection of used bikes but really poor customer service. We looked around outside and then went in. No one made eye contact with us or offered to help us. We stood around for about half an hour waiting to be helped, but all we received were a quick few head turns trying to not acknowledge us. Stocked up, they were incredibly helpful I got there just as they were closing (drove out from Issaquah). I bought a new 2014 Harley from Destination Harley Davidson in Tacoma, Wa. I tried to get them to take it back since I am no longer able to ride my bike because of a medical problem and they said that they would not take it back as they promised when I bought the bike if it did want it anymore. I even asked if they would take the bike on consignment and sell it for me and they said that they would not even though it only has 22 miles on it. This shows me that they are not a good place to purchase a bike from ! They also lost my registration papers when I had my bike in for service and would not replace it ! I thjnk that you would do much better if you deal with another Harley dealership !!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I was in the market for a newer bike. I have had such a great experience at Destination, that I had to share my happiness. There is a old saying, who you buy your bike from is more important than the bike you buy. I have been to about 6 different dealers around, and Destination make me feel like a person, not just a number. I am not the guy to put bad reviews about other dealers, but give Destination a chance, you will be happy. Over the last 30 days I have used the service department, clothing, sales, and parts. Parts even has a specialists that can help you customize your bike to your needs and wants. There is even a staffed deli on site to have a bite to eat. read more

Just spent over $100 at the fife/Tacoma dealership for 3 parts. The parts people were in a big hurry, somewhat belligerent and acted like they were being inconvenienced..one asked me if I bought the bike from them .. Why? These people need training in courtesy and customer service. I know it's management fault for not training them properly. There are plenty people out there that would be happy to do their job who know how to be courteous Meanwhile I'll shop elsewhere. read more

In 2014, I bought a Heritage Softail Classic, and after some thought, decided to go to Sturgis in 2015. In June 2015 I took my bike, which I paid cash for by the way, to Destination to get Sirius Satellite Radio so that I have tunes for the 1100 mile trip. After getting the radio installed, I found out that the speakers wouldn't work past about half volume. They sounded like a 300 watt amplifier pushing through a 20 watt speaker, took it back and selected better speakers and when I thought that they were done with it, there was another problem, and then another problem and another problem. Each "problem" taking another week to fix. Finally, after waiting 8 days for a coaxial cable that never showed up, and a total of 5 weeks waiting for the radio to get installed and it's still not working right, I went down there and took my bike back. They could tell by my short curt answers that I was really PO'd about the entire ordeal. I paid the bill and waited as they took my bike outside, I tried to start the bike and it wouldn't fire up. I looked the bike over and saw that they had, at some point disconnected the fuel line, why is beyond me, and failed to reconnect it. I reconnected the fuel line, started the bike and left. Needless to say, I won't be going back there again. read more
