The power is always surging and ruining your appliances in your trailer, and when your power goes out ruins $500 worth of food you just bought at Costco. They just laugh at you. They tell you they don't have the money to fix the electrical problems. they have fans on their electrical boxes with locks on them so that the inspectors can't see the fans on their electrical boxes to keep them cool there's power surge going on. They run their power lights off of your electricity and charge you for it. You tell them your dog is contacted worms and is sick and dying, and has been at both dog runs and they don't treat the dog parks for it,or quarantine them off until they're treated properly. They just use dish soap on the dog parks. They put spy cameras throughout the park to see what you're doing in eavesdrop I was told they have a camera that looks like an orange that they put in the orange trees whether that's true or not. I don't know but that was by management. You can't let people in to the gate. They don't have security after 9 o'clock so if you let someone in then you get in trouble so you're basically locked in like a prisoner you're not allowed to have deliveries inside the gate or even have a Uber pick you up at your door you have to walk for blocks even if you're disabled to get to the front..They run work without permits all the time !including electrical and they lock their fire gates with padlocks. if there was a fire you couldn't get out!they charge about $1000 a month rent now which is ridiculous! for all these violations some of the meters have caused fires and almost burnt people's trailers down while they were at work APS said the wires are melting and an electrician I knew said the place is gonna burn to the ground it's not a safe place and when the power goes out in 118° weather for four days, they give no relief to the people or any kind of money back on their Lot rent. They also do not flush the water to sanitize after repairing their leaks .they have which is just about weekly so there's parasites and dirt things in the water that come in through the dirt where their leaks are!! And it all comes into your trailer and ruined your hot water tanks and everything else!! they have landscapers patching the leaks up where it's a business. It should be a certified plumber with permits through the city. I'm glad to be out of there. They give you illegal one day eviction notices if they get mad at you!!!! as a constant hot bed of hell I was threatened by one of the receptionist workers in the front office that she was gonna get me evicted, and then next thing you know, my lease was not renewed .. her name was Shelley. I don't remember what her husbands name was drunk abusive couple. when they threaten me (her and her husband at the pool )they were drunk off their butts, and threatened to kick my ass, and throw me in the pool. Her husband did it stood over me, and then threaten my neighbor as well to kick his ass. instead of firing them they refuse to renew my lease. and I had all this on video and they even called the police on me and they said because I told him the hell's Angels would come in here and visit him that I was threatening him with organized crime. Can you imagine that it was all on video. They got the cops in their back pocket because they wouldn't do nothing. I had a sergeant out there and everything and I had this man standing over me telling me he knew I was handicapped and disabled, and he was gonna pick me up throw me in the pool. I told the police because they did nothing. They didn't even file charges on them even though I asked him to the Goodyear police department that figures that next time he touched me, they would find him all right am I gonna say more than that but they heard me! what a hell of a place! if you wanna live in trailer trash with your power, going off all the time, and the water full of parasites, cause they don't flush the system when they're done repairing their weekly water leaks!!they don't even notify you when the power is off, or when the water is off !!so I could never leave my dog alone in the trailer because it reaches 100 outside..and probably 150° within 20 minutes on a hot day in the trailer.. and she would've died. They don't notify you if the power is off they don't notify you the water is off. It's a constant mess over there full of violations and they have to be paying the city of Goodyear off because nobody will take care of it. and when you complain to the front staff, Tammy tells you that the boys said they don't have the money to make any repairs to the electrical grid or the water even though it may cause mass fires oh and the locks they put on the boxes were after I called APS for my power box surging on the weekend, so there is a record of the power surge with APS.

Love this place! First impression- the quiet location... (apart from air force jets flying over every so often = THANK YOU Military!)... Upon entering main office- clean grounds - well taken care of... thought & attention. The Staff! Helpful- Kind- Enjoyable.... We're staying a year - & hopefully more. We've lived here a month & are so happy God led us here. We're full time RV'ers & by far the best location we've stayed to date. Destiny just redid their pool & spa & we can't wait to test it out! It's absolutely beautiful.... It's a neat thing to feel like family in a place like an RV Resort... people looking out for one another etc. I absolutely give 5 . Gratitude starts in the heart. & those who appreciate much will see the goodness that is here. Those who complain & fault find ... they'll do it anywhere & everywhere. I believe in honest reviews- but when it's ALL negative ... that simply can't be. Because NOTHING is ALL negative... one can always find good in things. So. Honest Reviews welcomed. But be considerate too of people & their hard work. Find Something to Speak kindly of. That's all I have to say about Update We've been here 6mo & plan to renew our contact for another year! Update- we've been here a year & 1/2. Plan to renew again! Love it We have HY

I celebrated my 50th birthday three years ago and the place is incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating. The attentive staff makes this place very special. Istvan and Ian and Rafaela at Harvest were particularly delightful and the farm fresh food is just incredible! The Hot Springs are very soothing, relaxing and reinvigorating. Don't expect a TV in the room as they are absent. If you just wanna relax and catch up on your sleep or read a good book with no noise to be found, this is a place for you. The 7 mile dirt road to the resort is very scenic and you are likely to find burros along the way. Definitely need some kind of suv for that part. Or if you have no object to spending money, then take the helicopter from Scottsdale airport to whisk for a 20 minute ride to the resort.

The property is absolutely beautiful.... gorgeous to say the least. Superb customer service no doubt!!! Every employee on property was a delight to chat with, whether it's the cool farmer who's growing the vegetables, the housekeeping, service or upper management, everyone is extremely pleasant. My only "issues": - Hard to find the value at a price point of $100+ per hour for every hour you are there. - The food was slightly underwhelming. Not bad by any means but doesn't hit the mark commensurate with the price. (All the vegetables are amazingly tasty!!) - for a resort, it's a little too rigid in terms of having to plan each individual activity....i am i'll go with the flow semi spontaneous type of person so it didn't really fit my vibe but those who like to play in their day out this would be great for them -every "room/cabana" should have a bathtub that is large enough for two people. - too many à la carte activities at a very premium price. We didn't partake in those activities so I can't speak on those but the Farm tour was nice and complimentary thought the customer is still paying $100per hr to be there. The only reason I'm not giving this five stars is shortcomings in value for the price as well as almost every activity is à la carte and expensive. The staff at Castle Hot Springs is amazing, kudos to all those that are working hard; it's seen and appreciated.

The amenities are great. The gym is well equipped, there are tennis courts, and the pools are beautiful with a nice balance between adult and family-friendly areas. The restaurants are solid as well, which makes it easy to stay on property and unwind. Overall, a really great experience. We would definitely come back again for our next spring training trip.

I invited four girlfriends to join me, and each of them booked their own rooms. Unfortunately, after spending four days at the property, I can confidently say this was one of the most disappointing luxury hotel experiences I've ever had. The problems started at check-in. The front desk associate barely engaged with me, offered no overview of the property, amenities, or resort experience, and didn't ask whether it was my first visit. When I mentioned I was celebrating my birthday, there wasn't even a simple "Happy Birthday." I was handed a key and what turned out to be a property map, with no explanation whatsoever. My next stop was the concierge desk to inquire about pool cabanas. I was simply told they were sold out. No alternatives were offered, no waitlist was mentioned, and no effort was made to assist. Instead, I was told to look at an outside website myself. At a luxury resort, isn't the concierge's role to help guests find solutions and make arrangements? When I later asked if the resort did anything special for birthday guests, the concierge emailed me a list of items I could purchase. That response perfectly summarized the level of hospitality we experienced. The room itself was another disappointment. It felt outdated and in need of renovation, hardly what one would expect from a luxury property. Ironically, when I later visited the pool and asked an attendant about cabanas, she immediately offered to place me on a waitlist in case of cancellations--an option the concierge never bothered to mention. The following morning, I spoke with a manager, Alley, about my experience. She apologized and offered a $100 food and beverage credit, which I appreciated. However, when I returned to my room, I discovered something far more concerning: one of the pillows had visible mold on it. Since I don't sleep with pillows, I hadn't noticed it the first night. As I looked closer, I found stains on the bedding, pillows, lampshade, and even areas of the room that clearly had not been properly cleaned. Housekeeping came and changed the sheets and pillowcases, but shockingly left behind the actual moldy pillow. At that point, this had moved far beyond a service issue and into a cleanliness and health concern. I reported everything again to management. The additional response was a $50 credit. At this point, the property had failed in virtually every area that defines a luxury hotel: guest service, concierge support, cleanliness, attention to detail, and problem resolution. My friends who booked rooms experienced similar frustrations with both customer service and housekeeping. We ultimately spent much of our time dining at restaurants off property and even rented a cabana at another resort because our experience at The Phoenician was so disappointing. For a stay that cost me over $2,000, offering a total of $150 in credits felt completely out of touch with the severity of the issues. The amount wasn't the problem, it was the lack of accountability and genuine concern. I rarely leave negative reviews, but travelers should know that this property did not deliver anything close to the luxury experience it advertises. Between the poor service, moldy pillow, cleanliness concerns, and overall lack of hospitality, I cannot recommend The Phoenician. I will also be filing a complaint through Marriott Bonvoy regarding my experience. Luxury hotels are defined by service, attention to detail, and how they handle problems when they arise. Unfortunately, The Phoenician failed on all three.

Real time update for JW Marriott @desertridge…read more 1. Here for our son's birthday, brought 2 of his friends and needed to pay $50.00 for an additional wristband as each reservation allows for 4. 2. Poolside chairs, mostly reserved for an additional charge. We inquired for 2 chairs as it's 2:00pm and service closes at 5:00pm. $175.00/chair with an additional $30.00/chair reservation fee's. We opted not to do this and am hoping to find available 'free' chairs provided with the resort fee. 3. Ice cream is another issue, 3 cups of Dippy Dots (picture attached) was $38.00, not including tip. It's a nice hotel but the cost to be at the hotel once you arrive is crazy... consider this before booking, I haven't ordered the prerequisite chicken fingers yet that come with every hotel stay. Again, 5 stars for the hotel/service and amenities but 3 stars for the value... averaged out to 4.

We received great customer service here and were satisfied with our room. The lazy river is relaxing and there are so many pools and the resort is clean. We were allowed early check in which was wonderful after a 5 hour drive. So why the 3 stars? We ordered a couple of pizzas, chicken wings and a couple of beers at the food place, at the pool, located by the water slides. The guy who rang us up was friendly, but when we came to close out, he told me gratuity was automatic and to just sign for it (I was charging it to my room). I asked him "gratuity is automatic? " He said yes. I didn't think much of it and signed for it and got my receipt and went on about my day. But as I was looking at my receipt, it gave me a gratuity option at the bottom, which made me realize gratuity should not have been automatic. I confirmed with the front desk that gratuity is up to the customer. She did credit my room for the amount of the gratuity that he gave himself. In the end, it is not about the gratuity because I was going to tip him regardless. For me, it's the principal.

This was a very beautiful hotel, but some areas need improvement. Walking in, you're greeted by staff, bellhops, and staff at the front desk. You can receive assistance to your hotel rooms with your bags, and it's helpful if you're on the 2nd floor since there aren't any elevators. You walk through a beautiful scene of outdoor booths, bonfires, and a pool oasis with palm trees. It's truly a beautiful scene morning, noon, and night. The rooms are also very pretty. We had two queens in a spacious room. While there isn't a dresser, there is a long table that doubles as an office desk. There is shelving in the closet, but that's not the worst condition. There was also a Nespresso coffee bar in our room. We didn't receive any complimentary bottles of water, so I wasn't sure what they expected us to use. I certainly wasn't going to pay for the glass bottles of water, as they charged quite a bit of money. We also found that we weren't always getting our Nespresso pods refilled, and if they did, it was with decaf coffee only. Weird because why would anyone only drink decaf? We had to constantly call to get our coffee station refilled as we prepped for the day. The rooms have a balcony with French doors. Ours was facing the street, but there's a wall separating the resort from the street, which added a nice bit of privacy. Unfortunatly I had to always keep the doors to the patio open when it was 40-50 F degrees because my room was always humid! I would like to preface that I went to The Scott Resort for a BOOK RETREAT. I ended up with some warped books, which I had to work on flattening when I got home. Sometimes I felt the carpets were moist due to the amount of humidity. I wasn't sure if the humidifier was on high, but it wasn't humid outside. The conference rooms were very spacious and nice. The hotel is clean, and the staff is very friendly. I do think they charge a very high amount for food in the room service and the hotel bar. My friend paid $30 for a martini. The Scott was lovely to stay in, although there were some issues. Because of the humidity issue, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless that problem is solved.
