BACKGROUND: We bought a trailer and paid for a ceramic coating to be placed on it by the company we bought the new trailer from. The previous ceramic coating appliers absolutely thrashed the trailer with deep gouge and swirls. It looked horrible. Being a brand new trailer, I was so disappointed and upset. FAST FORWARD: We reached out to Detail 2 U for assistance to see if they could fix it for us. WOW! WHAT A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! Detail 2 U removed the ceramic coating that was originally placed on it, removed ALL of the damage from the previous company, and reapplied their ceramic coating. Our trailer looks amazing! I have attached photos. The original damage is hard to see in the photos, but trust when I say it was BAD. It looks brand new again. Worst experience I ever had with any detailing company, Jobs had to be redone multiple times. AND when I was told my car would be held for 2 to 3 days, it ended up taking a week and 3 days and my car was being driven from spot to spot by random people I don't know even without notifying me. I went in the app for my car and had to find out for myself, my car had almost no gas left in it when I got it back after leaving it with half a tank Also never fails to mention at least five times in a conversation how much of a good deal I got but when I call other high caliber PPF installers and retailers they all quoted me the same price that he did! LOL I also did a full frontal PPF and when I asked him why he did not get the very thin trim around the bumper he says I did not pay for that when I was not even aware it wasn't included if I'm paying for the full frontal PPF you'd expect a skinny CHROME trim around the bumper to be covered as well but no it was an extra $300!! I recently purchased brand new 2020 MB C63s AMG and was looking for a shop who specializes in detailing, windows tinting, paint protection film, and ceramic coating. Although Detail 2 U website does not list all the services they offer, I can confirm that they offer top of the line Llumar windows tinting film (IRX), Llumar Platinum paint protection film, and Modesta ceramic coating. I got my car's windows tinted with Llumar IRX 30% all around plus Ceramic Air 80 film on windshield, paint protection film on bumper, full hood, side mirrors, and full Modesta BC04 Nano-Titanium coating + wheel coating. It took them about 2 days to finish everything. End result came out really amazing. Even though my car is brand new, it was sitting on dealer lot for few month and accumulated contamination and water spots there. Chris, owner of Detail 2 U, together with his co-worker were able to completely remove those and cleanly apply nice layers of protection to my car. My car is so shiny now and my finger glides so smoothly over the paint surface thanks to Modesta coating. His shop is very clean and also has really nice lift that can handle low riding exotic cars.
