I had always considered getting my car detailed but couldn't really justify it. After surviving 8 years, 140,000+ miles, and several cross-country road trips with me, it was time. Maximus Auto Detailing was recommended by a family friend who regularly gets his big-money vehicles detailed here. Setting up an appointment was quick and painless. I dropped my car off in the morning and came back for it in the late afternoon. The guys at Maximus are miracle workers. My car has visited more countries and states than the average person, and has seen both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans (from a safe distance, of course). Between mile 0 and mile 140,000, my car has collected dirt and sand from 23 different national parks, sands from many of Michigan's, California's, Georgia's, and South Carolina's beaches, stubborn glitter from Halloween 2014, doggy hairs and doggy drool, spilled hot chocolate and coffee, melted chocolate that fell into that awkward abyss between the driver's seat and the center console, sweat and dirt from athletic equipment and of course the occasional french fry. I realize this review is making me sound like a hot mess, but I promise I've vacuumed and cleaned my car regularly- at least once every other month. I'm an engineer, so when I have to be on the plant floor at work I wear black jeans. I had a pair of new black jeans that I didn't wash before wearing (bad idea-always wash before wearing). The dye from the jeans seeped into my tan cloth seats. It left weird black blobs on the driver's seat. When I say these guys are miracle workers, I mean it- they were able to get 99% of the black dye out of the cloth seats. Unless you saw it before, you wouldn't even know anything was ever there! Not only did they clean the inside- they cleaned the outside too. My car actually looks brand new. I am so impressed with the work these guys have done. I've already gotten a number of compliments on how good my car looks. I VERY highly recommend Maximus Auto Detailing. These guys are incredible. read more

First time really getting our new vehicle detailed. The process and booking was super smooth and the owner was courteous. For the cost though, I think I'll be doing this service myself in the future. There were lots of obvious spots that were missed when picking it up, that anyone that did a cursory glance at the end would easily see, such as dirt still all over the mirror caps, underneath exterior latches (including over back up cam), interior smudges all over console, and even a few crumbs on the seat. All in all it wasn't a bad job but expected a dealer type detailing to it. read more

Wow...all I can say is wow! Guillermo transformed my Jeep from a trashed car that got both my brother and I and our friends through high school and college into a like new vehicle. The work he did was extraordinary! I'm almost embarrassed to admit what bad condition my car was in. The most noticeable flaws were several VERY set-in coffee and drink stains on the passenger side seat. One in particular was acquired, years ago, before an early morning flight and couldn't be cleaned up for about a week. I, personally, worked on the stain several different times without making any progress. After taking the car to Maximus, the seat is like new. He also did a great job with the exterior and engine. In word- Fantastic and Awesome. I was in town for a just a week to deal with an ill family member. He can no longer drive so I had to take over his car. The interior was filthy, disgusting actually. There aren't a lot of detailers in the area- so I had to assume the ones that are there are probably busy, but I took a chance and drove over on a Thurs morning- no appointment. Yes- they were booked- the owner advised he could have it done on Saturday. No way, my flight home was early Saturday morning- a little begging got him to agree to a 5:30 pick up on Friday- He called me at 3:30, it was ready Yippee ! The exterior was gleaming! The interior looked as good as new! WOW - what a fantastic job. I think my Niece will buy it for her daughter's 16th Birthday- These folks were fantastic! They are cash only, but I won't ding them because of it- they helped me a lot by getting this done when I had to have it! read more

My boss needed to get his car detailed following a long road trip with his kids (bc yikes) and I found Maximus on Yelp and it was pretty much a no brainer. I Messaged Guillermo, the owner, asking him for a quote and he replied within 20 minutes with all the answers to my questions and more. I made an appointment for 9 am the next day and he said it would be done by the end of the day. When I dropped it off, he took care of me himself and was very polite. Come 5:15, I called the shop to make sure it would be finished by the time I got there and it was (the only downside was that he failed to mention they only take cash or checks but this wasn't too much of an inconvenience for me). When I picked up the car, again, he was very nice and polite and I was in and out in under 5 minutes. The car was unrecognizably clean and my boss was thrilled. Went to get my interior detailed yesterday, worried about stains that had been there for a month and when I went to pick it up (I was quoted 4 hours it only took 2!!) it looked BRAND new!! Referred to Guillermo @ Maximus from a close buddy. I spilled teriyaki marinade all over the passenger side of my car. I really thought that I was going to have to rip all the carpet out to get the smell out. After bringing it to G, they got the smell out. I was blown away. Other reviews are correct, they do some high end cars here and they treated my vehicle just the same as they would one of the several Lambo's I saw parked out front! I wanted to get my truck detailed before I tried to sell it. I called on the phone to set up an appointment and the person on the other end sounded a little confused. Since they service a lot of the dealerships in the area maybe they're not used to the average Joe calling?? It was fine though, he was able to accommodate me that same day and did a good job detailing the inside for $125. My only complaint is that I have a storage area in the trunk that is accessed by lifting up on a lever. That area was not cleaned and I didn't notice it until a prospective buyer lifted the lid. Whoops, I was embarrassed. But my truck smelled fresh and the rest of the interior looked fabulous. Prospective buyers were really impressed. read more

I brought my vehicle to Maximus about a week ago for interior detailing. Although it's a vehicle we just got at the beginning of the year, we've been pretty rough in the interior with two young kids and road trips. Although you should really book an appointment in advance, the owner of the shop agreed to take a look and try to squeeze me in the day I called him. I dropped it off around 9am and it was fm ready by 5pm. They did an amazing job and the car looks new again. They were extremely friendly and helpful. They did an excellent job on the interior for only $105! It was REALLY dirty when I took my car in, but it looked show-room new when I picked it up. I was amazed at how clean they were able to get it given the condition it was in when I dropped it off. They even washed the exterior for no additional charge & had it ready to go sooner than promised. Super nice people & I would definitely take my vehicle there again.
