Noticed AutoZone on the left side went to go all the way over to the turnaround and she stopped running in the middle of the turnaround. Figures it's the first snowfall and I've got flips on :-) Put my flashers on waived the cars around me and then open My Hood. Checked my reservoir and I had absolutely zero fluid. Ironically refilled it the other day because I noticed the temperature was going down. I had two bottles of water in my car they called AutoZone just to check and see if I could pour it into the reservoir without cracking the block. Michelle who answered the phone at AutoZone didn't recommend it based on the 32 degrees temperature outside. She asked me where I was located and I informed her I was about a half a mile down the road. About 20 minutes later a pickup truck pulled in behind me and I was waiting him around when he got out and it was Louay from the AutoZone. He brought a a gallon of antifreeze for my reservoir. After a few minutes of waiting I started the car and she started. Completed the turnaround and drove over to AutoZone to pay them for the antifreeze coolant. Definitely will be sending kudos to AutoZone corporate. I didn't request assistance Michelle said she was worried because it was cold and I was stuck in the middle of a big beaver. Can we say exemplary customer service !!there off the charts!!. Time to pay it forward :-)

I was not asking them to replace my battery or perform any major work. During the battery testing process, part of my battery/connection was damaged. When I brought the issue to their attention, the staff and manager did not want to take responsibility or even acknowledge that they may have caused the damage. Even worse, the manager directly accused me of lying about the situation and what had happened to my vehicle. I found that extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Instead of trying to inspect the problem and help resolve it, I was essentially told to stay out of the store and contact corporate. What started as a simple request to test my battery turned into a much bigger problem. My vehicle ended up with absolutely no power -- no lights, no electronics, and I couldn't even lock the car. I did exactly what I was told and contacted corporate, but unfortunately they were not much help either. I was basically told that they could address the one cable that was damaged, but that the rest of the problem was my responsibility. That is extremely frustrating considering I came into the store for a simple battery test and left with a much bigger issue. I understand that mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a business handles them. Instead of taking the situation seriously, investigating what happened, and working with me toward a solution, I was accused of lying, told to stay out of the store, and then sent to corporate. Corporate ultimately did not provide a solution for the full problem either. Very poor customer service from both the store and corporate. I came in for a simple battery test and ended up dealing with a damaged connection, a vehicle with no power, being accused of lying, and being left responsible for the rest of the problem. This was an extremely frustrating experience.

Its ok mistakes happen. Called the store and they went into action to assist and rectify things WITHIN MINUTES ALL WITHOUTH THE CAR LEAVING THE HOIST! Seriously.....WOW!!!!!! Speaking with Mike Achenza, he quantified my problem, found the correct part, and after a few very short moments on hold had approval from the store manager Charlie to have the part run up to the repair shop I was using.....no extra charge! Moments later, in walks Maars, a younger associate that was articulate, gracious, and courteous....ONE OF THE MOST POLISHED ASSOCIATES IN ALL MY YEARS PATRONIZING ADVANCE AUTO PARTS!!!!!! He handle the transaction efficiently, and represents the company with a STELLAR ATTITUDE! Even the repair shop staff were impressed with the POLISHED interaction! (5-STAR!!!!!) Returned the other part I did not need to the store without issue, with the help of Kelli, the Retail Parts Pro who admittedly knows a heck of alot more abut cars than I do! It was then I got to talk with all the abovementioned staff a bit more and discover it not only a corporate HUB for all its auto parts distribution with everything in stock, but a HUB for kindness, knowledge and professionalism from the top down! When I brought it in the older white haired man said it was fine and complained that if I had a good battery and he tried returning it they would ask him why. Moving forward about six weeks I went to N & N auto service. Thinking it must be another problem he put the battery tester on there and said no it was the battery. So at this point I proceed back to Auto Value parts store but this time talking to Don Rossi, he was extremely honest and helpful and was quite upset with the gentleman that originally help me for turning me away with a bad battery. Because of the service I received today from Don I will leave a five star. But if you go in and there's an older gentleman with white hair and usually a red shirt do not trust his advice. In fact I would recommend the gentleman that served me the first time actually be fired he does not do justice to the name of this place.
