Avoid at all costs. Detailcrews was hired to extend our patio & add in irrigation to our backyard, both of which have now led to serious damage to our home. The patio grade was wrongly done that has now led to water flooding our patio every time it rains, affecting the foundation -- this issue was only raised to us after the project was done. And the sprinkler broke the very first season we tried to turn it back on after being installed, and when we reached out to them to assist, DetailCrews said it's an issue of whoever winterized it ... DetailCrews had to come back and fix the system after company that winterized it couldn't fully blow it out because DetailCrews installed the part backwards! They were literally the last ones to touch the system last winter, and it still broke. They have done nothing to rectify this two major issues, and are also lying in their responses to these reviews saying that they warned us of the risks. I absolutely do not recommend this company and would caution against anyone using them for landscaping services. read more

Do not use this company. They did more damage to my property than anything. I had multiple contractors come after and raise concerns with everything they touched. When confronted about it, they denied anything and then slammed me for not knowing anything about the work that was done... when I spoke about litigation, they offered to come fix things but I was specifically told by a reputable landscaping professional to not let them touch anything else. They even used our pictures online and spoke poorly of us whilst doing so. I paid someone to have the whole thing fixed, and wish I didn't give them a dime. It was so bad Yelp even refunded us some money due to all of the pictures and terrible work product I provided in the end. You've been warned. read more

We just had our yard renewed by Detailcrews and this is something we've been waiting years for. I can't express how frustrating it has been to try to find a contractor who would return a call, show up, provide an estimate and complete the work. I was beginning to wonder if it would ever happen, until I found this crew! Everything was explained in detail and the process was very smooth and quick! We had a deck with railing installed, as well as a corner raised bed and pavers, which replaced our aging flagstone and garden area. There were two very minor things that needed adjusting and these were done practically overnight. This team is fantastic. Bottom line. With the recent heavy rains my paver patio essentially collapsed due to poor construction by the original owner. I reached out to no less than 6 contractors. This team not only responded right away but set an actual appointment which they followed through with. The other folks didn't even get that far. 5 stars for that alone. They came out as promised and on time. Provided a reasonable quote within hours. Then to knock it out of the park they were able to come out the next day and were able to bang out the job in 2 days despite the hail monsoon that occurred during first day. We had our yard landscaped by Detail crews last summer and they have posted pictures of the work they did. We were very pleased with the hard work, communication. When the work was done, we concerned about the minimal amount of bark/mulch that was used as it didn't cover up any of the irrigation hoses. This year, we went out to refresh the bark with a rake and came to see how little bark that was used in the project. We could not move any bark around without uncovering another area. We need to add a considerable amount of bark and have just received an estimate of 1300.00 to get this done. I still think there were positives for the work and I would recommend Detail crews however I would recommend you thoroughly check the work and make sure that it meets your expectations read more

These guys did wonderful work in our yard this spring. We asked to have the entire backyard graded to improve drainage and also remove part of a hill eating of a good portion of space, and they installed a retaining wall to prevent further issues there. Part of the work also included installing a walkway on a difficult slope and a connected patio and demolishing an old deck. The work was beautiful and professional and we were extremely impressed at how fastidious the crew was about clean up. They also ran into an issue with the retaining wall not being perfectly straight halfway through, and rather than leave it as-is, they started over to make sure it was right. Detailcrews just finished the job today. We had a complete overhaul of our yard. Most companies were 7,000 over their estimate. They wanted to do all these fancy things that were not in our budget or inline with what our expectations were. We just needed our horribly overgrown yard tilled and sectioned off into rock, mulch, and grass. We wanted a blank slate to work with but couldn't do the work ourselves in a timely manner before things began to get overgrown. We had other contractors come out and till the soil but it never helped and probably made it worse because then the roots would sprout up everywhere. So we hired DetailedCrews LLC. Anel came out and gave us an estimate. Once we were set on using their services, we cut the check for half of the estimate. We thought we were cutting the check for work to be done at the end of the week but he said that he was looking at the week after. Which was fine by us. I was a little nervous send a good chunk of money off but that being said, Anel was in communication the whole week about the day and time and plans, more than any other company. Other companies it was like they could care less what we wanted and we were just another number. Anel made us feel heard and put me at ease. Here is what we had done: -entire yard tilled -roots, dirt, giant cement planters, and rock removed from our overgrown jungle of a backyard -Half the yard was rock (I think 15 ton) -Mulch on a quarter of the yard with edging for a kids play place -seeding of the other quarter of the yard -drip system installed for future project (we plan on adding raised beds) -weed barrier installed under rock and mulch. - remove chain link fence and reinstall after. -chase down our very wild and free puppy that escaped multiple times through the process (seriously they legit ran to help when he would escape like it was their puppy escaping, running off to join the circus). -work around our 2 and 4 year old kids who insisted on being part of the process. They completed all the rock the first day which was incredible. I get winded racking leaves. They laid and racked all the rock like it was no big deal. They were running back and forth all day. They worked from 9am to 6:30pm the first day to get the rock laid and then tilled and cleared the area for the mulch. After that they returned at 9:30 the next day (to be honest I figured they would be wiped from the first day and not return til later the next day), they continued to clear the rest of the yard, install the drip, unload and rack the mulch, seed the area we wanted seeded. Then they gave us follow up instructions, labeled all the cords and connections we will need once we install the raised beds. I was so blown away. The three of them worked so hard and got it done so much faster than I expected. They finished today around 3:00. I was shocked it was all done that fast. When Anel scheduled us for two days, I was skeptical but it was done in a day and a half. The crew was so kind and respectful of our wishes and helped us make our yard what we need to make our dreams possible. Can't say enough about them. read more

Anel and Allen of Detail Crews are a great team of two brothers who really know how to get work done! I needed my side yard re-graded due to the soil under my Astro turf getting washed away in the massive rains in May of 2023. My AC condenser unit sank to the point where I need to prop it up with some wood to avoid it hanging from the umbilical cord to the house. My entire yard was very uneven and needed a lot of work. Anel arrived on time for the appointment and said that he could fix it and explained exactly what he was going to do and what materials would be used to prevent it from happening again. His quoted timeline and price for accomplishing the work was exactly what he said. He is extremely reliable and trustworthy. They raised the yard so the water would drain correctly and raised the AC unit as well. They installed a French drain at the base of the yard to ensure the water would not pool the next time it rained this much. I would use them again for any other project I needed.
