Therefore, anyone considering having Lynn complete alterations, be forewarned!! -- I took my daughter's prom dress into her a month before prom. We went through everything she wanted/needed to have done and was quoted $200, and then reduced to $170 before we left when I about fell over at the price. We were told to come back 4 days before prom for her final fitting, which we did, only to find that the ONLY thing "done" was that she (had only) started creating the corset back. The hem was not done, nor were the sleeves even touched yet. When I asked about the sleeves (which were to be removed to make it a strapless dress), Lynn said, "oh, you still want that?" YES we still want(ed) that...it was one of the MAIN things my daughter wanted to make the dress look "right" on her. I had to send my daughter by herself to pick up her dress the day before prom since I had to work with cash for payment. I about fell over dead when she text me the invoice for a total of $235!!! I immediately called asking to at least honor the original quote of $200 since that's the amount of cash I sent with her. Lynn did reduce it (to which I'm AM grateful) but let me tell you, the work provided was NOT worth $200! Her hem was just tacked in a few places going around the bottom, there was no bustle done for her train (and therefore proceeded to get stepped on all night long of course), the sleeves were "done" but just so they barely resembled what we requested and lastly, the corset was created BUT didn't even match up on both sides!! She had 7 loops on one side and only 6 on the other (refer to pictures on the google review I submitted). Thankfully(!) I could hide it well enough with the bow that no one else knew but me and my daughter. It became clear to me afterwards that she obviously took on too many jobs and couldn't complete them properly--at least not ours. I work in the bridal industry and have, in the past, recommended Lynn to my brides for alterations. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will never send any of my brides to her. I don't want to have any association in the event that a bride's dress hasn't done as it should be.

So into a big machine ( 7 bucks !) go My clothes . I choose delicate wash . My first clue this wasnt going to be good was the light for " quick wash " lights up . Then an 11 minute timer . I just paid seven bucks for a wash i didn't even want not to mention there's no way my clothes are going to be clean in a quick wash . I try to explain this to the attendant who insists im going to get the wash i paid for . When the worker yells you @ im not the one who programs the machine snd I'm not trying to yell at you ( my response well Yes you really are ) anyway not much i can do My clothes are in the washer ... i also drop Off a blouse for dry cleaning and was trying to show where a stain was and was told ok so its a stain in a very mocking loud voice .., ok walk away ... so the washing machine is running , running , hey its been stuck on two minutes for a while .., lady assures me no Problem it happens .., again i just walk away . So ten minutes later she comes out to my car waving a ten dollar bill . She had taken it upon herself to move my clothes from the washer they were in to two regular washers to spin . ??! Great ! Not what i ensued for my clothes as i had two brand new crocheted baby blankets . I ask well are my clothes clean ? Ahe assures me that my clothes have gone through a full cycle Anyway i go in the laundry mat my clothes are now soaking wet . Like i can still wring water out .., she insists theyll dry . I put the clothes on four dryers , one hot , one medium one low and one delicate . I spend seven bucks and a lot more time just getting the clothes dry , so the ten bucks she returned did no good because i almost spent that much drying on top of the seven for the washer. A trip to starbucks and the local pizzeria for a slice ; come back to still wet clothes . More quarters .,, take clothes out .., these clothes look and smell no better than they did when i put them in the washer . If thats what a full cycle there does , save your money and time . I threw away two shirts and the blankets shrunk .

Facilities are clean and affordable…read more I needed to wash all of our bedding and towels. The industrial washers and dryers all worked wonderfully to wash and dry all the clothes. I also loved being able to use them for my normal clothes it saved me a bit of money vs breaking them up into smaller loads. Facility is very clean and appears to be recently remodeled. Coin machine worked great. They even had a basket that I could roll out to the car to bring my things in and out. Tip: Come with cash because they aren't able to give cash back and the atm next door has a fee.

I asked the employee if he could use their bathroom and she said no that there was a place called Luke's down the road that we could go to. So I'm expected to leave all of my belongings out on the tables, load up both of my children and go search for some place called Luke's because this laundry mat can not let a 4 year old child use the restroom there. I will NEVER be back here and I will make sure my friends and family are all aware of how this place treats customers especially CHILDREN who aren't as in control of their bladders as an adult. Ridiculous, y'all should be ashamed of yourselves. I don't see a website for the store next door to the laundry but we were paying customers and when we asked to use their restroom the idiot behind the counter had the audacity to suggest my 4 year old go outside in 50 degree windy weather and pee outside. I'm sure they don't go outside and pee and I'm sure the laundry employees don't leave and go to Luke's to pee. I'm disgusted with the pathetic, piece of garbage employees & the businesses who looked at my 4 year old and denied him a restroom. I have been using Wash Works for years. Today was the worst. I was there in the afternoon to do a…read moreload of laundry. No worker was there. I sat and talked to the many people who were there keeping a social distance. After everyone left a worker (She was short and overweight) returned from a pick-up from the mills. I was watching TV waiting for my clothes to dry. She started saying something I could not understand. I walked over, keeping my distance, to hear better. She said I had to wait in my car to protect the other customers. I looked around and saw no one. I told her that no one but myself was there. She said it was a rule. The sign on the door used the word "ask" not "rule" about waiting outside. This is voluntary. I would have waited outside if there were more people than just me. She said I still need to go outside. She at this point, not wearing any PPE, came closer to me saying I had to go outside. I told her twice that if any other person entered, I would leave. She still harassed me about going outside. I sat down to watch TV. One of the people that was there returned. I left and stood by my car. I talked to some people who were sitting in a car. The person left and I re-entered Wash Works to gather my clothes. Right away she started to harass me again about going outside while I removed my clothes from the dryer. I told her I was leaving, yet she continued to harass me about being outside. Again she did not keep her distance while she continued to harass me. I ask 4 time to stop harassing me to no effect. She still harassed me. I started yelling to stop harassing me, again with no effect. The rule given by the President, CDC and many other government agencies is to keep a social distance. Yet this woman refused to follow this rule. Yet I was wrong for watching TV by myself. I will not return to this business any longer if this is the way a loyal customer is treated.
