So fun that it doesn't even seem like a workout! I came to Detox Cycle on a Saturday with my fitness group, Fit & Fearless, if you're looking for fun ways to be more active and meet new friends, check them out on IG. Detox cycle is situated in a shopping plaza by Trader Joe's in Studio City. There's plenty of free parking in the plaza. We checked in, filled out the waiver, got our shoes, and put our things away in the locker. There is a shower and bathroom next to the lockers and the place is very clean. Once we out put our things away, we went to pick out a bike for the class. I believe they have the one workout room for the cycle class. It's a really cool setup with a DJ booth, neon lights, this projection thing on the back wall-I can't find any big words to describe it, and lots of bikes. There's also a water fountain and water refilling station right outside the workout out. The workout itself is high energy, fun, great music, and feels like you're in a club. DJ Ran is energetic, positive, and encouraging. If I lived closer, I'd definitely get a membership here but I'm glad I got to experience it. It's such a fun workout with lots of movement and you're not just sitting there pedaling the whole time. Make sure you take a towel because you will sweat A LOT! Highly recommend!! read more

Love love love this cycle house!!!! I recently purchased a pack of 10 and I've attended 3 classes. I'm obsessed! I've always enjoyed taking classes by Dj Ran and have followed him from different studios he taught at I'm so happy he has his own spot now. The studio itself is clean, nice and clean bathroom, the cycles are great and I love the whole ambience of the studio. I like that you can see yourself in the mirror while riding and I love the cool graphics in the back. I haven't taken any other classes with any other instructors but I definitely plan on next time. Dj Ran class is upbeat, motivating and a lot of fun. I highly recommend this studio. Oh and come here early if you need shoes as it's first come first serve, I like that the shoes click into the bikes and definitely size up at least for me I need to so I'm comfortable and the shoes aren't too tight. This studio is where the Trader Joes is and there is always parking, it's a shared lot with other shops, bathroom is clean, front desk staff is nice and easy to book classes online. The music in this place is so loud that I have lost Hearing in my right ear. I made the mistake of going there to take a class. I begged them to turn the music down but they refused. It wasn't until I got home that I realized that they had completely destroyed my eardrum. They have no consideration at all for people for their neighbors or anybody else. They play that music as loud as they possibly can without care for what they are doing to other people. Do not go here if you value your hearing at all. read more

I had been a loyal customer at Evolve Cycle for years (before it became Detox Cycle). I would drive the 45 minutes during traffic because I loved the community and the team. They saw me through several health issues and an ankle injury. If I needed to change a class or postpone due to an injury, they always accommodated me. This is why I kept coming back and poured all my money into the organization. However, this new leadership is quite different. I had three remaining classes during the management transition. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to access them in a timely manner. I reached out to them through their Instagram account in April, when I was having issues logging in, and then again in May. I didn't know this at the time, but unfortunately, when I reached out in May, it was two days after my sessions had expired. Unfortunately, this was all they could focus on - That there was a gap between the first and second times I contacted them, and my sessions had expired for 2 days when I contacted them the second time. What they overlooked in our back-and-forth was that the reason I couldn't access the three sessions in the first place was that I was unable to log into the new system. They took no accountability for the technical issues they caused and focused strictly on the time gap, claiming that the sessions had expired. They also presented me with what they thought was a solution - buy a new package of classes, and we will give you the three you lost in "good faith," - basically asking me to spend more money with them after the horrible experience I had. I am an extremely loyal and fair customer and would never shortchange any business. This new management, however, nickel-and-dimed me and quoted policy to me as they refused to accept that the business transition had created the issue in the first place. As a business owner myself, a word of advice - with no customer, there is no policy to be had. Lastly, I cannot forget that within their attempts to comfort me, they repeatedly said, "Sorry you feel this way" when I expressed my frustration with the situation, again taking zero accountability. I am going to be very happy to detox myself from this place, and have told several of my friends to stop going there. If I could give them zero stars, I would. If anyone has any recommendations, please don't hesitate to let me know. read more

I had surgery and tried to come back after freezing my monthly membership for a few months and they would not accomodate and reinstate a full month I still had left. They are not client-centric and only care about $$$. There are so many amazing spin studios around the area that I have now tried, not only have better management, but also better trainers, longer classes and better music. They charged my credit card extra for a class without my approval which is a total legal and privacy violation. I reached out to them with a question about using their booking system (which locked me out for weeks), and their response was so unhelpful and rude. I like the instructors but unfortunately I won't be riding there anymore because of how poorly their owners treated me. read more

I've been going spin class for years and I've had the best experience going to this cycle studio. The instructor is the dj and teaches spin at the same time. It's different than any other cycle studio I've been to. I love the high energy and vibes and everyone is so friendly. The staff is great and is always helpful.
