It was a good security measure. The other reason for the good review is because of the outstanding service of the technician, Kyle B. He is a nice aspiring young man with the right friendly attitude. He did a garage "tune-up" and diagnosed the problem--which, he said, was the door itself. He went into great length explaining to me why. He pulled that string above the door and showed me that the problem was not the mechanism but the door. He then proceeded to give me a list of prices to replace the garage door. After he left, there was a minor problem with the door due to me forgetting instructions on how to use the string above the door so I called back and Bruce, the manager, took ownership of the issue and sent Kyle back to re-check the problem. Kyle came back and fixed the garage door again and told me to call him directly for any future problems. He had a nice attitude as usual. Also, when I called Bruce to commend Kyle, we had a nice long chat and he sweetened the replacement door deal for me and gave me a good discount and put that in the notes in case I decided to go ahead and replace the garage door. Overall, I had a refreshingly wonderful experience with Alpha 1 Garage Door Service due to the prestigious service of Kyle B. and his manager, Bruce. I recommend using this company for sure.

Deyonker Window and Door, did our smaller house windows and large bedroom windows back about 11…read moreyears ago, they were terrific, so we knew we could trust them, and a few years later, they did our door wall on our walk out, so now, we had them do our large picture front window at our home, Dan came out and gave us the estimate, he then came out a second time to double check measurements, take a deposit, then they ordered the window from the factory and approximately 4 months later they were here to install it. This was a custom order, thats why it took so long. My other windows didnt take this long, they were in stock. As you can see from the pictures its is very large. They came with a very large crew and had it done in about 7 hours. This included the custom molding that they cut on site and put on, all we had to do was paint it. The crew was very polite and respectful, they laid out tarps before they even started, and they brought in and used an air compressor that was so quiet i could talk right next to it. Mark and some of the crew had been here before on our previous install. This to me indicates a company who not only keeps employees who do good work, but gives us customers an excellent job. This location was competitive in pricing and understood how Amarr handled warranty repairs. They sent a guy out the same afternoon. Unfortunately, they sent him with the wrong part. He tried to make a temporary repair, but that didn't hold. It was late in the day, so he said he'd get the right part in the morning and be back. He took care of it quickly the next day. At this point, they were better than the company that didn't understand how Amarr handled warranty repairs, better than the company that didn't get around to returning my call until 7 am (ugh!) the next day, better than the company that wanted $125 for the repair. Not perfect, but at least I can get my vehicle out of the garage again.

He was done in 20 min and barely did any work -- replaced the springs (as we needed) but the repair job was only a couple of new rollers as far as I can tell. I talked to the guy who I presume is the manager and he said the price includes their "expertise" and years of experience. They gouged us. Plus, when they were done, they didn't even clean up.
