Instead of replacing all the windows around the house like all the window selling people are telling us, Rob offered to fix the windows for a much better pricing. We are so happy with the result we asked them to remodel our three bathrooms. Again, their quote was better than the other 8 companies we compared with. Their timing and flexibility was better as well! Throughout the process of bathroom remodeling, they were extremely helpful, accommodating and easy to work with. From picking tiles and helping us with the pickup (usually pretty expensive), to going out of their ways to seal cracks for us on the wall and hanging paintings for my mom. They even offered to walk my dog when they were working with us. They are excellent at what they do. See images for the before and after of the bathrooms. We love our 3 bathrooms now. They were able to accommodate everything we asked them too. Including changing old electric outlets, adding a shower in the guest bathroom, and switching the vent to a heated vent. They even helped to fix my kitchen sink that a plumber failed after trying for 3 days! They are also honest people. I did notice a cracked window and Rob immediately ordered a new one and covered the cost. So they do honor their warranty on their work. Chris from Main Street was quick to respond and we set up an on-site consult for later in the week. I knew which windows (4 of them) I wanted replaced since an Anderson Renewal guy had come out separately to inspect & provide a quote. Chris from Main Street was extremely kind, helpful, and upfront. I chose them ultimately because of this pleasant meeting, urgency for the replacement, and fair price. He was my only point of contact the whole job which was nice and he was on top of communicating things throughout the whole process. We also have siding being replaced so he communicated with my other contractor to coordinate timing. Pricing was very reasonable compared to Renewal but more expensive than a DIY vinyl install because of the window quality. I wanted a window that would last and was willing to pay more. The Anderson 100 series installed was literally half the cost of what Renewal had quoted me (I believe they quoted the 300 series) but are very high quality windows regardless and we really like them. There are some minor aesthetic defects from the manufacturing of the windows (pictured here) but they can be trimmed off very easily and aren't a concern. The installer Dre came in with Dan as support and they did a beautiful job. I had plenty of notice beforehand and they finished the job exactly as estimated (about 6 hours) after cleaning up very nicely. All in all, I thought Main Street Windows had a competitive price, I appreciated their recommendation for the product, they did a great job communicating, and the windows look great.
