The absolute most disgusting gym with the worst service and worst patrons I've EVER gone to. Allow…read moreme to explain why: 1) Patrons are incredibly loud, rude, have no etiquette with wiping down the machines. Most patrons will will have their speaker at FULL volume without any consideration. 2) This one is specific to the men who hang out at the weight area and are so loud you can hear them from the moon. Vulgar conversation, yelling, acting like its their clubhouse without consideration for other guests. It's distracting and innappropriate. Beyond annoying. 3) The staff here is useless. Watch the manager sit on her phone the entire time. THE ENTIRE TIME! THE ENTIRE TIME! She's getting paid to literally do nothing. Her attitude reflects it as well. 4) The bathroom makes me want to vomit and is unsanitary. Horrendous behavior goes on. I do not get to enjoy anything in there like the pool or the sauna because the guests are so vulgar and misbehaved. 5) All the men there hog the machines like they own the place and intimidate you if you try and say anything. This is a dangerous place for women. 6) Staff at the front...you might want to get off your phone and be attentive to who comes in. They are always on their phone. 7) MACHINES ARE ALWAYS AND CONSISTENTLY DOWN. 8) Staff never cleans the machines. I am there frequently enough to recognize the same disgusting garbage left behind at the different stations . 9) They constantly have the most obnoxious and irrelevant vendors set up at the front. It doesn't even make sense. Girl scout cookies, the police academy, some guy selling hideous shirts. This is a gym. No one wants the hallway blocked with this ridiculous selling push. 10) THE GUESTS ARE ARE ALL INCREDIBLY LOUD, RUDE, LACK ETIQUETTE, HAVE NO CONSIDERATION FOR OTHER PEOPLE. AND THE MANAGEMENT JUST ENJOYS IT. The absolute worst gym I've ever been to. I'll be emailing corporate as well. I doubt anyone will do anything about the behavior here. What an outstanding feat to be the worst gym in the world. Disgusting. Do better, but I doubt you will. I will be posting pictures later on as well.

UPDATE: The last couple of months the music has been at a completely reasonable level (occasionally…read moreaudible, but not ruining my life). I still haven't taken a class here, so I can't give 5 stars...but the effort to be neighborly deserves recognition. Disrespectful to the neighbors. I, along with others have had to put in several noise complaints. The landlord is taking action for the noise level rendering him unable to rent out his residences. The dance studio that was marketed to the landlord as a yoga studio, is small enough that the music volume can be controlled, however, the owner jacks the music up and wears a completely unnecessary headset all of which is entirely disruptive to the neighbors. Rude when approached. Overall terrible for the neighborhood. Don't recommend supporting.

The sequence was so well-rounded, and her cues made so much sense. I appreciate when I can tell a teacher really knows what she's talking about, and Christy is the real deal. Ana's barre class is also fantastic! Finally, PiYo with Becky which was a killerrrrr and such a good workout. Do it. The studio is absolutely beautiful and the manager Christy (different Christy from the teacher and owner!) is so, so delightful. Prices are great, parking is easy. Great spot!

I have been to multiple trainers and have not had results like I have had with Jeff at Core…read morePhysique. I highly recommend him. The cost of his services are way lower than at other gyms and you get actual one on one training. I really like that I am able to make my own schedule as I have a very busy life. Jeff had created a tailored program for me that has me wanting to go work out. Great for anyone who wants to get into shape but doesn't want to spend millions doing it.

You will not regret going to see Jeff! He changed my life for the best and can absolutely do the…read moresame for you. In April, I was going through a tough breakup and at over 200 pounds. I called Jeff and went in to meet with him and was sold right away by his charm, energy, passion for the job and prices! Now, six months later, I am so glad I made that leap and am 30 pounds down not only due to his support with physical activity but because of his willingness to be there for me emotionally and mentally when necessary as it is of utmost importance to your process to have a supportive, kind and helpful voice even if it's while you are huffing and puffing through your exercises! Going to see Jeff is always bound to be full of laughs and positive energy alongside hard work! He is dedicated and focuses on your needs and tracks your heart rate to get an idea of what you need specifically and at what level you should be working. You'll never feel like you have to throw up, as I have with other trainers (not normal!!). Jeff keeps a close eye on your heart rate and body language to ensure you are working at an optimal level for fat loss or whatever it is you're looking for. After working with Jeff, I recommended him to my brother, who had a completely different set of expectations (muscle gain) than me (weight loss) for Jeff. He walked out of his first session and called me right away to say thanks for recommending Jeff and that he was pretty sure Jeff would change his life :). Sure enough, they've been working together and have made great strides too!! There is honestly no one better to start and finish your journey with! Look no further because you have found the guy that will work by your side to get you what you want! I honestly can't say enough to get you to contact him and just get out there! The drive down Riverside is always beautiful and gives me a bit of time to think before arriving and some time to be really proud on the way home. You'll be happy when you're pants fit nicely or even loosely instead of tight and your skin clears up and people start complimenting you! I know I was! It's all up to you to make the changes, but it's also really important to surround yourself with positive upbeat people who don't judge and who know what they're doing and how to tailor a program to you! Jeff can do all of that and more :) Contact me through Yelp if you have any questions regarding this review :)

I'm not like every other person who joins a gym in January because of New Year's Resolutions…read more Nope, I joined because I have an important event in a couple months and I need to get my butt in gear (literally)! I had thought I would join potentially for the weight loss benefits of going to the gym regularly, but had overlooked the benefit of endurance, both physically and mentally because being around people you may not want to be around is a special kind of endurance! I'm going to a conference out of state. Instead of loud drunk adults, this place has loud children and instead of walking for miles, seemingly in circles, you get to dance them in circles or step them or Aqua Zumba them. In any case, I feel like I'll be fit on all levels in time for my event. I had actually considered NC a couple years ago but wasn't fully sold at the time. Recently, I gave it another look and I think they have improved their website and now have an app. In addition, the membership options seem easier to understand and they have added an InScan / Body Scan machine that's free for members. That alone is worth the price of admission. It will tell you in excruciating detail how unfit you are but, hey, hopefully, you can only improve! Members can scan as much as they want but obviously, once a month is the most you should do to actually establish a trend. On membership, I opted for the month to month no contact one: $71 and no initiation fee. While that may seem high, I really need classes to feel engaged and motivated and most classes, even on Class Pass are around $20 to $25 a class, so if I go to one class a week at NC, I'm already ahead! One neat thing, the monthly pass just runs 30 days then deactivates. If you try to scan your card, it makes a noise and the staff will charge you to re-up for the next 30 days. For someone that has gotten burned on gym contacts more than I care to recall, the fact that this just expires is such a benefit to me. One less thing to worry about. You can also get the monthly membership and family and all kinds of flavors with different costs and contracts but for me, this was the perfect option. I mentioned classes and man, they have a ton: dance, Pilates, step, yoga, spin, Aqua Zumba, and they even have sports like drop-in pickleball! I've already taken a couple classes and really enjoy them. They have the app and you can add a class to your calendar from the app. You can't sign up for a class through the app though but hopefully that's in the works. You can also check into the gym with the app or with your keychain card, so that's handy. They have various lectures and courses and competitions which I'm looking forward to participating in as well. Also, they have a water bottle refill station which is great. No juice bar or anything but very close to a ton of places to quickly undo whatever you just did at the gym. Now for the neutrals and negatives: Yes, the bathrooms are old but I don't find them to be dirty or slippery or whatever some reviewers have said. They have lockers but bring your own lock and they are just day lockers. Half the time, I don't need a locker so it's not a huge deal for me but YMMV. Parking can be tricky. Free on the street if you can find it otherwise, pay with the Passport app to park in the lot. Children. It's weird if you're used to only going to gyms where it's adults only and also mostly going places where it's adults only. They are only allowed in the classes for them I think so there's that (I wish the app would let you filter those out because they have some kids classes I might want to take them you click in and see the age limits. Maybe I want to take "Creative Dance" or "Fit and Fun"). Overall, I'm already very happy with this choice and may very well convert my monthly membership to a contract. Eventually. Maybe...

We love the NC Fit club for the kids in the fall/winter/spring and all the cool classes she can do after school. They have a great indoor pool, workout area, and lots of fun classes for every age. We love coming here and it's such a nice place for the kids and adults alike!
