Throughout the haircut, the stylist appeared uncertain and unsteady, which made the experience uncomfortable and unprofessional. I did not feel confident in the process at any point. I only stayed because I was with my 16-year-old and did not want to escalate the situation in front of her. Overall, I paid $80 for a service that was not delivered as requested. On my final visit, I paid over $275 (before gratuity) for partial highlights with a Level V stylist. The color itself was beautiful, but I was surprised by the limited amount of highlighting performed and later shared photos with the stylist showing a few noticeable gaps in color. The issue appeared minor and seemed easily correctable. Instead of being invited back for an evaluation or correction, I was told the issue was related to the quality of my hair and was advised to take a collagen/biotin supplement and come back in a few months. None of these concerns about my hair were communicated to me during my appointment. Even more disappointing was the lack of follow-through from management. After I reached out, I was told the matter would be reviewed and that I would receive a follow-up. That follow-up never came. A few months later, I declined a future appointment and explained why--again, I received no response. My biggest disappointment was how my concerns were handled afterward by both the stylist and management. A disappointing appointment can often be resolved. A lack of communication and accountability is much harder to overlook. For that reason, I've chosen not to return.

This is in addition to a foot injury and crutches, meaning not only my own schedule was disregarded despite my disability and inability to drive, but also my mother's as she has been driving me around. Considering I would have missed another appointment right after my service, I was forced to leave. I am very disappointed with this standard of service, and I recommend all new customers absolutely stay away from Amaya due to her complete inability to communicate effectively and offer good customer service and quality work. The area has lots of parking. Establishment is clean and inviting. Aeron was so friendly and welcoming. She was very attentive to what I asked for. I gave her sample photos of the haircut I wanted, and she gave me everything I asked for and more! She was so sweet & patient with me, I asked lots of questions about hair styling and hair products as I don't get to do my hair often, so I sincerely appreciate her being patient and kind with me answering all my questions. Aeron was also super attentive and caring when styling my hair, stopping to ask if the blow dryer temperature was not too hot, and how was her hairbrush grip while styling my hair to make sure she wasn't hurting me. She even sent me home with some hair clips and a grip hair roller for my newly cut bangs, to help me style it! Also educated me on what hair products she recommended for my hair to style and care for it. I love my new haircut! It was worth the 3 hour drive up to have her do my hair.
