Deviled eggs, really? YES We happened to come across this place while going to grab a beer at Bearded Brewers. I have never heard of a deviled egg eatery so I became curious The Deviled Egg Co was a food truck that became so popular they opened a brick and mortar to keep up with demand. The interior is clean and modern with yolk yellow seating. The menu has plenty of options. You can order to eat in or order to go. I think a big order would be fun for parties and much easier compared to making eggs myself. We got an order of 6 eggs (around $8) and the owner was nice enough to give us some extra samplers. The flavors were...Eggceptional... I was devouring the eggs and felt like a stiff drink would be perfect. About that time I was told that they are planning on acquiring a liquor license soon. So a unique concept for sure and I loved it but I am not sure I can go to this place for either lunch or dinner. Innovative boiled eggs but you can't just eat boiled eggs to be full. The place is nice and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. You feel loved. We ordered the Cali roll, chick- fil eggs, south of the border and Buffalo bleu. They were amazing in taste. We ordered margarita and old fashioned. The old fashion was a bit different and spicy, basically not the regular one I can say. Also to add I found the drinks a little expensive according to the place. We went to other place to eat dinner after this. Even I saw a couple sitting next to us going to the attached little ceaser for food I suppose. So in all a nice place to have a little snacks I suppose or to try something new. read more

The ambiance and vibe here are very cute and the staff was very friendly and informative. We tried the buffalo chicken, traditional, smoked salmon and Cali roll deviled eggs. The Cali roll was really good, but unfortunately all the others had an overpowering vinegar taste that was not very pleasant. The staff informed us that they don't add vinegar to the eggs, but there may be vinegar from the Dijon mustard. Not a fan of the vinegary flavor in deviled eggs, but if that's your jam, this place is for you. read more

Our family looooves deviled eggs so had to try this place when in town from Des Moines. Super friendly attentive service, huge selection of eggs to try (called "rolls"), very fair price. We had 2 Flatbreads, delicious. On the eggs, our favorite was the Walking Taco, the Gyro and whatever one you choose, spend the tiny bit extra to have it fried; freakin awesome. We went to the Deviled Egg Co. for our monthly happy hour for current/previous hospital volunteers and loved it! Favorite flavors were the ballpark (hot dog, mustard, ketchup and potato chips), walking taco, Buffalo chicken ranch, Cali roll, crab Rangoon and BLT. Amazed at how delicious these deviled eggs were! All of the flavor that they have are so unique and hot the mark on what they're supposed to be. Our favorite of the 4 we tried was hands down the Walking Taco. The Cali Roll tasted just like a sushi roll. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Think sushi, but eggs instead of fish. I first went here for girls' night after a really rough weekend and it was a tasty and fun way to boost my mood! Expect to spend more, so it really is more for special occasions, but the variety of flavors, the atmosphere, and the drink options are great. My friend and I are going on a road trip from Virginia through the Midwest. This is one of the places we HAD to visit during our trip. On our way to Omaha, we realized we weren't going to make it in time to get to the Deviled Egg Co before they closed. When we called to explain our situation, they graciously let us order over the phone and waited an extra 30 minutes after closing for us to arrive to pick them up. I visited this establishment on March 2nd, 2024 for my 7 year old grand daughter's birthday with my daughter, her husband, and their 3 children. The first item of concern was that my daughter made a reservation over the phone and when we got there, they did not have a table for the 6 of us. We agreed to a corner booth where a chair was placed for my son-in-law in the aisle and a chair was placed where I was squeezed next to a table behind me. When the waitress came with our waters, she accidently dropped 4 glasses of ice water over the table and me. We know it was an accident and did not scold her as she was already terribly upset. But I was drenched waist down with ice water. The waitress tried to clean up the table, but it was awhile before someone came to clean the floor. Yet, not one employee asked about me. I stated to the waitress that I was soaked, but had to go to the bar to request some towels to try and soak up some water from my pants. Long story short, the owners offered 10% off our bill, which amounted to only $11.00. (We spent over $100.00) I asked that my $8.00 glass of wine be comped and the owner sarcastically stated that they were giving us a 10% discount! I was soaked and had been SITTING with SOAKED PANTS the whole time I was there.!!! And he could not comp an $8 glass of wine? Then to make it even worse, we got home and saw that on the bill, they had added that discount of $11 back onto my glass of wine - so that we never even got a discount. My daughter called them and was very upset that they had charged her $19.00 for my $8.00 glass of wine. They said they would refund the $11.00, but still refused to comp an $8 glass of wine when I had sat there all night in cold, wet pants. Never going there again. And although the eggs were good, the prices were high and the owners showed no compassion or integrity to the situation, and then were dishonest by adding that '$11.00 discount' back onto the price of my glass of wine. We have gotten deviled egg co for takeout quite a few times family occasions (thanksgiving, ect) and it always is a hit but this was our first time dining in. We celebrated my husbands birthday there with a group of people and had an amazing experience. First I will get into the food... it is spectacular! Not only do they have an expanding list of specialty deviled eggs but they also have quite a few other items to choose from (my favorites being the goat cheese balls and margarita flatbread) Every item of food came out looking like it was straight out of a magazine! Everyone in our group raves about the food. Second let's talk about the service. Not only was the service extremely fast but the staff made sure to give recommendations as well! The martinis are so creative and fun (the espresso martini was one of the best I have ever had) The restaurant closes at 10 and I look down at my phone and realize we are all still there and it is 10:30. I told the staff I will get everyone wrapped up to head out and they responded with "No please! No rush!!! Everyone's having fun - don't worry about rushing!" The staff genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs and that really showed in the service that we received - and I couldn't be more thankful because it really added to the great night that we had. Between the food/ drinks/ staff and atmosphere we couldn't have asked for a better place to go to celebrate! I got to experience the deviled eggs from the Deviled Egg co and it was certainly well worth time to drive out to get there! I never new this place existed! Deviled Egg Co makes many different kinds of deviled eggs and serves drinks to go with it! I would say it's pretty similar to a sushi bar, but without the rice! I kind of like it because I'm not much of a rice fan. I know, it's weird considering I'm actually from Hawai'i and my whole family eats practically everything with rice. Anyhow, the concept is pretty cool. The eggs are pretty fancy and tasty as well! I personally liked the traditional and the cali. The rest of the fam are more adventurous and liked the other ones we picked, like the salmon. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and inviting as well as the people who work there. I'm not sure if they're the owners or not, but they are super friendly and helpful and really make you feel welcome.
