I've been here twice and the only reason I don't go here more is because I live on the other side of town. But this is hands down the best pancakes in the game! I am a self proclaimed pancake connoisseur and these are the real deal! Handmade batter, crispy edges and not too thick or thin. These are just simply delicious! I came in, was seated immediately and had my food out in no time! If you ever find yourself in Elkhorn, most definitely a place to visit!

Breakfast was very good. Pancakes fluffy and the bacon crispy perfection. Scrambled eggs were a bit flat for me and the coffee a bit too bitter. The chilaquiles my daughter had were delicious. The avocado fresh! The cinnamon roll was delicious as well. They do have a lot of fun breakfast options! The staff were so friendly!

Just another delicious breakfast! If you come here on a week day, there is no wait! The coffee is delicious, the service is great, and the food is next level. I'm a savory breakfast girl, but I can't resist the churro pancakes!

Chilaquiles! Nopales! Meat Omelettes! Waffles! Can get busy on the weekends...cause it's awesome! Great blend of Mexican breakfast options. Super fast to the table...strong coffee. Incredibly talented staff...always quick and accurate! Clean tables...that's tough to do with syrup involved! Thanks to Time to Rise/Shine you can now do a three meal + dessert Javi only production!

Came here with some friends and glad I decided to try it out! I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was fire! Very crispy breading and good flavor on the steak. The pancakes were real fluffy and fresh as well! The service was on point our waitress was very fast and nice! If you haven't checked this place out give it a shot!

I was absolutely blown away by brunch here!! We entered around 9:30 on a Saturday and the place was PACKED! It never died down during our hour there. We waited about 15 minutes, and got a seat at the bar which was great, since you can see the kitchen and watch your food being cooked! I had the chicken fried steak which was the BEST I've had!! Thick piece of meat, FANTASTIC flavor and texture on the breading, and a great amount of their tasty gravy as well. I will for sure be back for this dish--especially since I am a sweet/savory brunch person, and this is the only chicken friend steak in Omaha that comes with pancakes!! Unfortunately, with how busy they were my pancakes were forgotten at first, so I had to take them to go. Any disappointment I initially had due to this vanished the second I took the first bite--these are amazing!! I didn't know I had a preference on pancake textures, but the ever so slightly doughy texture of these was absolutely perfect. My friend got a skillet, but I can't remember the name. It had queso and was amazing!! I am not a skillet person, and trying this inspired me to get a skillet dish at my next brunch, which sadly was not here so it was actually a disappointment. Overall, I would say expect a short wait and a crowded restaurant. It's a very casual vibe that caters to families with their kids menu/coloring pages, etc. This place is on the smaller side, but not too crowded or noisy at all. Service was very good considering they opened a month ago! Our server was typically a cook, and did a great job filling in on the shift. It was inspiring seeing the hard work of the staff and Javi himself running around doing anything and everything that needed to be done! If you're looking for GOOD brunch in Omaha, this place has to be on your list!!

Second time going and it unfortunately took a turn downwards. This time I went with my husband for Sunday brunch. As I mentioned last time I was eager to try the cinnamon rolls and Churro French toast. We asked for the cinnamon roll to come out ahead of meals but unfortunately never got it and had to ask for it to go as it was on our ticket. The waitress apologized and brought us two for the inconvenience and told us to warm them up for the best experience. The Churro French Toast was disappointing. It was 2 pieces of French toast cut in half. It had a small dusting of cinnamon and a caramel drizzle but was bland overall. For the price of almost $12 it was pretty disappointing as it did not come with any sides and lacked any complexity. My husband ordered a chorizo skillet with a side of country gravy. He said it was fine overall but was quite greasy from the chorizo and not that much substance to it for $15. With tip we spent almost $50 for the two of us for 2 entrees, coffee and a cinnamon roll. For the quality of food and the price considered we wouldn't be interested in returning any time soon.

I was super exited to try Time to Rise and Shine as Javi owns the place next door as well (Javi's tacos) and does great things over there. I was blown away by the menu options, flavor and speed of my service during my Friday morning brunch visit! I went for their meat-filled omelet, hash browns and speciality churro pancakes which you upgrade to for a small fee. First, the omelet was large, and full of the toppings you choose with a healthy (large) side of hash browns! Both still steaming hot off the skillet. The churro pancakes were sooo good for an added sweet treat to accompany the meal! I'll definitely be back for one of their homemade cinnamon rolls next time they are in stock!

Pancake Tacos are amazing so was the chicken and biscuits and the Farmers Bisquit platter. So goood

Pancake Tacos, the Farmers Bisquit platter and the chicken and waffles were amazing. The service was excellent too! It was a little echoey loud, but the food was FANTASTIC!

Rise and Shine is a small but nice little place my friends and I stumbled upon. Parking was easy, and we were seated immediately upon entry. The service was great, with tons of hospitality, and the food came out fast. The drink portions are huge; the orange juice was almost a liter, which I couldn't finish. For food, I chose the Green Chilaquiles Omelet, which consists of 4 fresh crack eggs filled with our freshly made tortilla chips tossed in your choice of sauce, then topped with fresh sliced avocado, fresh crumbled queso fresco, fresh chopped cilantro, and pico de gallo. It was very delicious and fulfilling. I think their prices were reasonable, even though I didn't pay. Hahaha. Definitely worth the visit while in Omaha.

This is a SPECIAL place! The menu has a variety of options from traditional to Latino options. Food came out quickly and the coffee was nice and strong! Definitely going back!

This was a fabulous place I tried with my daughter and granddaughter. They quoted us a twenty minute wait but I think it was only about 10 minutes. They put the cinnamon rolls at the front counter and I was sold! I brought home 3 for us and one for each granddaughter. I had the churro French toast but almost got the Tre Lache French toast. I sdisd not need the syrup it was so good. My daughter had the chicken fried steak. Granddaughter had the plain French toast. We all polished it off. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. You can see all of the employees hustling but did not appear overly stressed. Our server was spectacular and most pleasant. I just wish it were closer for me

The decor is minimal but I loved the different gold mirrors. When I ordered the cashier at the counter was all smiles and just a delight to talk to, she was super friendly. There are three flavors of smoothies to choose from: mango, wild berry, and strawberry. The Crescent Brûlée is a blend of caramel and vanilla, topped with whipped cream and a burnt sugar top. Both of the drinks we had tasted good. I'm not a big smoothie person--in fact, this is my first time ordering a smoothie in a long time--and I was very pleased with it. It was very smooth. Their menu is pretty extensive, in my opinion: coffee, tea, matcha, seasonal lattes, energy drinks, as well as some pastries and breakfast sandwiches. I also appreciated how easy it was to read their menu. I feel like a lot of the time in coffee shops, their menus are all over the place and you have to ask a lot of questions. This menu was nicely written. The shop has a very welcoming vibe, with different plants and displays. They also sell a few different things, such as clothes, sage, stickers, and different stones. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this coffee shop, and I will definitely be back.

The shop is on the smaller side, but it wasn't too busy on a Saturday morning, and we had no problem finding a table. I did get a vanilla latte with the tiramisu cold form and it was DELICIOUS! I would definitely try it again the next time I go. The barista that helped me was very kind and friendly. She helped me make the best selection. The types of milk you can get is Oat, Coconut, whole cream and half and half, I did wish they had a skim milk option but the coconut milk was very good in my latte. My sister ordered a Blueberry Matcha Tea, she enjoyed it and said the blueberry wasn't a strong flavor profile. I would recommend stopping in and getting a drink and having a nice conversation with someone.

Most of the dishes have sausage gravy, and you can't request not to include sausage gravy. Placed and order, server came back to our table to let us know that they can not make anything without sausage gravy if it's included. Makes me wonder if everything is pre-made and just warmed up. So I had to sit while my girlfriend had her breakfast. Update Please don't put words in my mouth. We ordered a latte. If the server chooses the side, the paying customer needs to be notified or asked. I asked it it was possible to have WITHOUT sausage gravy. I was told that was no problem. Then that they were unable to remove sausage gravy. I never spoke to you about that, again please don't out words into the customers mouth. I asked to remove the sausage gravy. I DO NOT eat pork. Removing sausage from the gravy would not total remove the pork from the gravy.... Think about how dumb that sounds. I can't believe you, who I did not speak to, would phrase it like that. Again I asked to have without Sausage gravy and the kitchen said no. After that, we noticed the charge for the latte. I said the menu said $5.75 was the small. Why did you charge for the large? Server said he would fix it. Maybe you should have the server reply as he took the order The description on the menu said sliced steak. It was not. If it is designed to be an open faced sandwich, maybe put that on the menu. When I order a sandwich that's what I expect. I was not expecting it to be sauggy to have to use a fork to eat a sandwich. This was our first time here, I did not know it was an open faced Sandwich. Rather than be surprised again and have to refuse food. We went somewhere we know how the food is served without surprises. And if we ask no sausage gravy, they kindly serve without sausage gravy. Having a well trained server could have made all the difference. I also though about ordering something else. I ask what kind of pancake syrup was available, we were told sugar and sugar fee. Picking up the server didn't understand the question, I ordered something else rather than try to get the server to understand what I meant. When I ordered hash browns, the server asked do I want them how it comes, or extra crispy? When I asked how do the hash browns normally come, the server said the "regular" way. I didn't want to make our server feel stupid, because I don't know what the regular way is either, so we went along with it and tried to make the best of it. You on the other hand fail in the area of emotional intelligence and I can't believe you would put words, creating your customers response is beyond anything I could imagine. WOW
