I tried my first HIIT class today at HEAT WAVE CROSSFIT ; it was engaging, energizing, and…read moreencouraging! The coach gave clear instructions with a demonstration. The class was designed to various levels of participation and ability, the gym and equipment were clean, and the fellow participants were friendly and kind. I was impressed by the ages of the group from 60+ down to a teenager. All had been taking the class for some time and their bodies showed strength and endurance. Thank you, Mitch, for the opportunity to try out the class while burning some calories. It was WONDERFUL!

Welcoming. Clean. Fun. Convenient. Results…read more Don't wait "until you're in shape" to join a gym like this. It's a huge mistake. Group fitness will motivate you more than you realize. Joined for a few months while we had to relocate to Bullhead temporarily. Members are a mix of under 30 and over 50 and in-between. Some people in ridiculous shape, some trying to get back to healthy. If you've done Crossfit, then you know what to expect. This place is great. If you're new to Crossfit, throw out your pre-conceived negative expectations because Crossfit isn't just random guys and girls doing intimidating barbell movements. You'll push yourself, but do so comfortably. Crossfit can seem intimidating if you're new to working out, especially in a group setting or if barbells or kettlebells are new to you, but once you go, you'll see it's really not that scary. No one is going to make you put a barbell over your head (for example). That's peer pressure, but not Crossfit. There are progressions, so you can work your way up, and also, they'll modify for you if something is out of your comfort zone due to mobility, age, strength, injury, etc. Coaches are welcoming, as are the members. Bonus: Located behind Tasa Coffee.

Equipment, water fountain, bathrooms, all dirty. Equipment like the streaming mat holder has been falling off the wall and nobody fixes it. Poor management at this location. Update: Thank you for your response, however I think it would be more appropriate for you to address the issue. Why would I have to notify the manager as a paying customer, when you are aware of the issue? As a note I have been a member of this gym for a long time and it has been great until recently.

On 3/13/26 During a late-night visit, I was involved in a situation with an overnight employee that escalated way beyond what it should have and I never even talked to a employee that night. From my perspective, information about me was reported to police that was not accurate and had nothing to do with me, which made the entire situation extremely stressful and upsetting. Since then, I still go to the gym, but I keep completely to myself and avoid all interaction with staff because I no longer feel comfortable or welcome here. That's not how a gym environment should feel. The facility itself is okay and usually clean, but staff professionalism--especially on overnight shifts--needs serious improvement. Situations should be handled calmly and fairly, not escalated in a way that negatively impacts members. I really hope management takes this seriously and looks into how staff are handling incidents, because this experience left a lasting negative impression. Also I hope nobody has to deal with a situation like this at this location.
