The phone number doesn't work and nobody wants to cultivate the studio so more classes and services are offered. Being on the 2nd floor makes it hard for people to notice it and access to it is a bit of a challenge for those who have trouble with walking far or up stairs since the elevator is not nearby. Instead I go to classes at the Senior Circle on Silver Creek Road, and to DB&G Dance studio in Fort Mohave.

She is a truly gifted yogi and teacher. I shared some of my specific interests and what I'd like to get out of our time together in advance, and she was able to craft and lead us through two beautiful sessions together, incorporating kundalini, breathwork, full body yoga/movement and integrative meditations. The space itself is beautiful, serene and carries a very healing, calming energy the moment you step inside. I highly recommend trying a class or booking a session with Ali Mae!

The fact that it was open and I didn't have to justify my existence to anyone was a win. The gym is clean, the equipment works (mostly), and the vibe is casual. You can show up looking like you just crawled out of a swamp, and nobody will judge you. I think I saw a guy in pajama pants doing bicep curls while watching The Office. Respect. That said, let's talk about the music. It's like the playlist was curated by someone who time-traveled from a middle school dance in 2004. Don't get me wrong, I love Mr. Brightside as much as the next person, but can we sprinkle in something newer? Maybe Beyoncé? Or at least throw in a motivational speech from The Rock? Also, the free weights section is a bit like the jungle. There's always that guy grunting like he's giving birth to a dumbbell, but hey, it's a gym. Live and let lift. Overall, Anytime Fitness delivers. It's not fancy, but it's reliable, convenient, and no one yelled at me for eating a protein bar mid-squat. He takes care of the gym like it's his own child and puts in all the work to show it. He is constantly asking me and my boys what machine we like and what we would like to see in the gym. He is expanding the building upstairs and putting in RED LIGHT THERAPY, MASSAGE BEDS, ADDITIONAL TANNING AND MORE SAUNAS!! He's ordered a couple new machines over the last couple months and has taken his time relocating equipment to ensure a thought out and quick lift if necessary. The cleaning lady is constantly moving around and making this gym spotless and does a great job at doing so.
