The facility is for disc golf, but don't be fooled- they serve the BEST smoked brisket in Maine- and I can say that because I'm from Texas, and have made it a point to visit nearly every "bbq" place in Maine. Seriously, the places in Portland don't come close to this- not even in cooking process. All together we had three brisket sandwiches and fries, and an order of chicken tenders and fries- all of the food went down quickly, and everyone loved it. The owners are kind and pleasant people- the husband is a Navy veteran too! I absolutely will return here and I highly recommend you visit too!

A newer disc golf to the Cumberland area. Bittersweet ridge disc golf at Harmony Hall is a…read moremouthful. It is located on the Yarmouth/gray line and can also turn into a BYOB dance hall. They have a great 18 hole course but word to the wise this is not a great course for newer players. If you have tossed the disc a few times this course should fall into a medium difficulty. The great thing about this course is the owners are trying to have a fun, clean course that involves a few different tricks instead of the typical "can you huck it far" approach. Six dollars to play all day, bring your bug spray, a bottle of water and a six pack to share with your friends. And don't forget your discs!

"You are going to be climbing a F%#king Mountain". A pretty difficult course with lots of trees. You have to be pretty accurate to stay right on target. That being said you will get a work out in as it as some massive elevation for disc golf. I didn't find any of the the holes on the course to be super memorable but overall not a bad place just way far out of the way. The course could use a little TLC in mowing and maybe some large rocks or pathways for the areas that are pretty wet. Bring plenty of bug spray, sunscreen, hiking boots, and a six pack. An updated tetanus shot wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Bathrooms are clean and maintained by staff who cleans it occasionally and you can call them to tell them if it's dirty or something. So far it was clean. Probably just some mud on the floor but nothing out of the ordinary. On the weekend we were there they had a live band which was nice. They have a pool for everyone and feels nice to hang out in the when the weather was hot. It's a nice way to cool down and especially with our two year old who loves to be in the water. He had so much fun. Totally recommend it to family's who loves camping. Would love to come back and might stay for a little bit more longer since we were only there for the weekend

So, I penned my arrival time, parking slot and attached the fee and slipped it through the mail slot. The second day, the spring thunder was rolling across the sky, filling all the upper and lower spaces with it's rumblings, then a moment of faded distance, followed by a final wrathful roar coming from behind the clouds. For you see, more and more - rightly or wrongly, I'm developing my desire to be alone with the sights and sounds of nature. From thunder clap to the little water crystals of mornings first dew, it all makes me feel a special way. As if nature is harmonizing within the depths of my souls mood. I'll sit for hours watching nature lay before me in a hush and there is no sense of movements, but I feel the flow of vital natural energy that no humans can disturb. It's here, below the trees sitting upon the grass which seems to offer soft words of comfort and sympathy. And now, in these moments - any human that might pierce suddenly upon my natural mood, seems to effect me greatly. Because one bad thought - problems in NYC, etc - and my souls tranquility is thrown into confusion.

This course is moderately hilly and moderately wooded with a well defined fairway. The course is well marked and easy to follow. Feel free to bring alcohol. Just enjoy responsibly and pick up after yourself. Dogs are allowed just require a leash. I had some much fun on this course. I can't wait to go again. This is a moderately hard course great for players of all skill level. Stop by and find your new weekend activity.
