I've seen two hygienists and would return happily to either of them. They do a thorough clean and always make sure I'm up to date on X-rays. I see the dentist once a year and although I can't remember his name, he's great. I haven't been upsold on anything and it doesn't seem like they make any recommendations without actual need. The office did forget to check me in during my last appointment, so despite my being on time I was brought in 15 minutes late. Other than this annoyance it's been a great experience thus far.

I felt that she was very rough on her cleaning procedures, the sink next to the chair (where patients usually spit) was not working and the overall experience was not very professional (at one point she splashed/splatter water on my face and shirt). I will go back to my previous hygienist next time and hope for a more pleasant visit.

After going to a much larger dental establishment which felt more like grabbing a number at the deli counter and waiting for my number to be called than an actual dentist office it was such a breath of fresh air to step foot in Dr. Lima's office. Everyone is so nice, from the staff at the front desk to the hygienists to Dr. Lima himself, I truly feel like I have found my Dentist here in PVD. I needed a deep cleaning which would involve four different visits... They accommodated my schedule and got me in for back to back visits all completed within 2 weeks. It's not often you can say that you look forward to your next cleaning but I truly do! Clean, quick, efficient and so friendly!

He drilled out the filling and put a new one in. My face was numb for over a week. I called and he said this was normal. I've had fillings before and I've never been numb for more than 8 hrs or so. He scheduled me to return to have the remaining 2 cavities filled. After my terrible experience I went to Dr. Darby in East Providence who was awesome. They did a complete x-ray and determined that I did not have any cavities! Caress was going to drill and fill 2 teeth that didn't even have cavities! I've been going to Dr. Darby ever since and those 2 teeth are still fine. To add to my bad experience, Caress Dental said I never paid them $50 and put me into collections in 2007. Two years after I had my filling. I was never made aware of this since I had moved. I just discovered this after applying for a loan. Stay away from this place!

I was so nervous as it was my first time being put under anesthesia and Dr. Hartman and his staff were fantastic. I don't even remember the "count from ten" moment (I don't think there was one), and woke up before I knew it. I kept telling my boyfriend that I was feeling like a rockstar when I woke up thank you thank you so much Dr Hartman and staff, four days post op, never felt any pain on the top two and just a little soreness on the bottom.

You ask to be on a cancellation list. They call you and tell you that somebody canceled. I then arrived for my "appointment" only to be informed that I was discarded from the schedule because I did not answer their "phone call" which I never got in the first place. I figured mistakes happen, so I made another "appointment" for June 2nd @ 9:00 am. I even stayed, and filled out all of my insurance info since I was a new patient. Two weeks went by, and silly me did not call to confirm/double check with them because I figured I was physically there and filled out all of my information. Additionally, there was no phone call from them either to confirm. I bet you can guess what happened next. I arrived to find that I was not on the schedule. They tried to offer me another appointment for September - a whole three months away. I just told them to forget it I will go somewhere else. Last Monday I drove to Randolph from Sturbridge to have a temporary crown glued back in place. I…read morehad the pleasure of meeting Kaysea for the first time and was impressed. Casey did a great job of cleaning and fitting the temporary. I really saw Kaysea's skill when Dr Emami decided to replace the temporary. Kaysea started the process by taking molds. This is usually a painful process for me due to 'bumps' on the inside of my lower gums. I alerted Kaysea to this and she was able to make it painless. Kaysea then made and adjusted the new temporary. It was dramatically better than the initial one both in size and fit. Kaysea made a number of adjustments before gluing it in place and then Dr Emami made the final adjustments. While I will, of course, be careful not to dislodge the temporary I've never had a temporary that fit this well or was more functional. Add all that to Kaysea's excellent 'chair side manner' and I want to share my appreciation. My wife, Denise, and I have been clients for many years and, as evidenced by our willingness to drive 3 hours round trip, have been very happy with our dental care. Adding talent such as Kaysea to the team makes Dental Specialities even more compelling

The office has a robot named GRACE answering the phone, absolutely useless at booking apointments, you'll wait on hold for 10 minutes before it gets to the part of the automation where it asks you to press 1 for a call back. Press 1, it plays a message about invisiline and puts you back in the hold que. The actual human staff has booked me with other doctors and made my dentist work with two patients at the same time. He's always training his assistants, never had the same assistant twice. One time the assistant shoved the xray thing in my mouth 6 times before moving me to another chair where the machine was actually working. Nevermind the fact that the physical office building is fairly new but it's all falling apart. I love my dentist, he's worked on my teeth for 20+ years but I have to switch. A doctor's office is only so good as the support staff.
