After retiring several miles distant, I still do the drive in to Lincoln Dental. I find their fees to be "just right." I've had cavities filled and crowns out on. This time I called with pain on Sat. and an appt. was set up that fit with my schedule. Unfortunately I will need a tooth extraction, and they recommended that I arrange for that closer to home because of the anesthesia. But then they gave me an idea about what to expect, and questions to ask.

He was very rude saying I have to keep it clean and stay away from mexican food (which I do not eat). i later found a piece of tooth in the hole which I saved and went back. he didn't want to aee the tooth fragment and wouldn't even look in my mouth. He is terrible and narcissistic. Do not go to him!

He used to be one of those people who avoided seeing the dentist unless there's pain. He thinks they're all the same, but they're not! My previous dentist would point out certain problems, like a chipped tooth and receding gum lines but never bothered to suggest any treatments other than an expensive mouth guard to keep me from grinding my teeth at night. It really annoyed me that he made a joke about my chipped tooth. One of my fillings started to wear down and became sharp like a dull saw. Luckily my previous dental office had a long wait for openings and I managed to book an appointment with Dr. Yousef for an earlier appointment! After a cleaning and assessment, he noticed my chipped tooth, receding gum line and immediately had treatment plans in mind. Dr. Yousef fixed my chipped tooth, smoothed down my chain saw molar, and filled in the deep recesses of my receding gum lines, which would avoid Gum Graft Surgery in the future. He did all of this in less than one hour!!! I was amazed!!! Also, I love that he's polite and respectful and doesn't make stupid jokes like my previous dentist, even though he's not a very talkative man. Btw...I opted for no local anesthesia because I hate having a numb mouth for hours. I really appreciated how gentle, quick, and efficient he was. Verified my information offered to drop off my member services card and was given a rude answer that they could not do anything. This has to be one of the best kept secrets in Rhode Island!…read more Did you know that if you don't have dental insurance, you can still get a high-quality dental screening and cleaning free of charge? That's right! CCRI's dental hygiene school offers free dental cleanings done by students and supervised by professional dentists. When I entered CCRI's "C Entrance" I was provided with hand sanitizer, screened for signs of covid and given a name tag. It was then, that I was greeted by my amazing dental hygienist, Josephine! She asked a very long list of questions and procedures that she went through and made the experience of going to the dentist a really pleasant one. Now let me tell you that they do the whole sha-bang in their screening: Questions about sugar consumption, heart rate monitor, blood pressure check - everything! I was able to get a extensive screening done, a cleaning and a flouride treatment all free of charge. They even loaded me up with a bunch of dental goodies at the end (just like at the dentist). If you're concerned about your exam being done by a student, you shouldn't be. They do an incredibly thorough job and there is a instructor checking to make sure everything is done correctly. The ONE downside is that the exam is pretty long. For me, it lasted about three hours and other patients have to come back for a second visit on occasion. But if you have the time, it's a really good deal and they do a spectacular job. Did I mention that it's free?
