I had taken my wife's car to this shop to get an alignment. I knew from the moment I walked in I felt a negative vibe with this shop. Starting with that the employees didn't even say good morning or even acknowledge my presence there. The staff there looks upset to be working at this place. My car was there getting an alignment. I paid the 100 $ and drove the car thinking the job was correct. The car pulled to the right but I couldn't take it back. I had to go to work and was on vacation right after work. When I came back on Tuesday, i went to the shop to tell them that the car was pulling badly to the right side. The manager told me that my tires were worn out and didn't want to realign my car. I sent the pics of the tires to my bro and he said that wasn't true. Then I went to Costco and they said that wasn't true. I'm tired of b.s shops and people who don't want to work and take advantage of people. I will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've taken various cars of mine to this place and was never as disappointed as the last 2 times. The prices are just over the top and you get nothing included. Many places will give you a tire rotation or fluids topped off or something included but instead want to charge $35.00 for a tire rotation on top of the $80 something for a SYNTHETIC BLEND oil change. Over $100 for fully synthetic. $65.00 this would have cost me at Tire Kingdom with a tire rotation and top off of fluids. And then $25.00 for a nail in the tire to repair but didn't adjust the air in the other tires. Just feel ripped off. read more

I learned about Devonaire Service and Tire from the positive reviews on Yelp. My first visit was over a year ago and most recent, a couple of weeks ago. Both of my visits were simply outstanding! I always deal with the owner, Alexander. He is courteous, professional and most importantly - explains everything and answers any questions clearly and thoroughly. This is a family run business and they are keen on providing honest automotive service, which is hard to find in this city. I have only had the tires on my BMW replaced and had an alignment performed here but Devoniare Service and Tire is more than just a tire shop - they have general mechanics on site to help with any auto related issue. I am a 'car guy' so Alexander understood how important it was that my rims were not damaged. Because my car had run flat tires and these are harder to remove, he had to purchase special tools to remove the tires while not damaging the wheels. He kept me aware of the process the whole way to ensure my car was being taken care of like his own. This shop houses the latest and greatest tire removal, balancing and alignment equipment. I also had an alignment performed here and it lasted a year (with no excessive tire wear) before needing another. My car feels planted and smooth as a result of the equipment and knowledge used. On my last visit a couple weeks ago, Alexander offered to lend me a car because I was tight on time and needed a car. Who does that anymore? Great service and great prices! 5 stars is not enough for Alex and his team. Our car broke down nearby. We are not from around here so finding Devonaire was life saving. Alex was helpful in diagnosing the problem, finding the part that day and getting it fixed quickly. Took my car for alignment and after paying over $100 it continues to pull to the right like if nothing had been done. Took the car back and they said nothing could be done. I then took the car to another place and they were able to fix what Devonshire couldn't. Devonaire did nothing to the car. read more

Came here today for a tire rotation and an oil change. Was very happy with the customer service, price, and work. I've been to places where they've purportedly "rotated" my tires, but didn't. Also happy with the fact that they filled up my tires without having to be asked. :) unfortunately, many places I have been to have made this kind of "expected" service so rare. I needed some major work done on my Lexus and again went to Devonaire Service & Tire. Antonio was very helpful by taking me into the bay and showing the problems with the car. I received a detailed estimate of labor and parts. The work was done within 1 day. My car was returned with absolutely no dirt on the inside or outside of the car. They were extremely clean when handling my car. The old parts were available for my viewing. They will also do a visual inspection of your car and detail concerns for upcoming maintenance. Relying on professionals to assist with my car maintenance, I would 100% trust their recommendations, pricing and technical work. They are very respectful and honest with their customers. I'm reviewing the service I obtained for mounting and balancing tires: Shop might as well be called Little Cuba. Four people in the shop and nobody can speak English. Secondly, they scratched all 4 brand new $1000 rims with no apology. Instead made up some BS that all shops will scratch your rims. Not even an apology or a discount. After reading the post on Yelp was very curious to try to go and see this shop. I was in dire need of getting some tires and and/or change in everywhere I looked everybody was basically either overcharging you or telling you things our not wrong with your car but not this place. The mechanics and Service personnel assisting me and getting 2 new tires and an old change at a reasonable price but not neglecting quality. The tires were amazing, the old change was fast, and the customer service from this place was so on point it was unbelievable. If more places maintain their sense of quality and service as this place it wouldn't be awful to get an old change or work on your car. I will highly recommend to anyone and will be sure to come back. read more

I'm very disappointed in my last encounter with Devonaire. Years ago they were my "go to" mechanic, so when Jiffy Lube couldn't remove the broken oil cap, I took it to Devonaire on Christmas Eve. They were able to remove the cap and change the oil. I also asked them to check the headlight alignment, as I thought the left light wasn't aimed correctly. Total cost: $67.14. Not bad I guess, but the receipt mentioned a shop supplies fee of $27.00 and no mention of the charge for the headlights. Also, the receipt also stated they, "topped off all fluids", but when I put on a new oil cap (they suggested I use the old one, which required a pliers to remove) I noticed the windshield washer container was only half full, and there was very little anti-freeze in the overflow container. I took the car back this morning, one day after Christmas, and asked him to explain the receipt to me, and to show him the fluid levels. He explained that the $27 office supply charge was actually for removing the broken oil cap and aligning the headlights, and the antifreeze level must have leaked out since Christmas Eve. He offered, if I wanted, to fill both reservoirs with WATER. I asked three times if the headlights needed adjusting, but never got an answer, and am left wondering if they even checked them. The only satisfaction I had as I left was the thought that I will never be coming back. read more

First took my 54 chevy on air-ride and they were meticulous to not damage the rockers on the lift. You can schedule appointments for things like oil changes, and they will tell you when to wait for the car or when to leave it. It is a family business and the owner runs it with his kids. They are a little more expensive perhaps but they are able to target what needs to be fixed. read more

Excellent service and timely turn around on my oil change that was done. Talked to Raul on the phone who gave me a price and time to bring in my SUV for a simple oil change. Brought it in at the designated time. Waited in their comfortable customer lounge while the work was done. Funny thing is I was waiting to ask him about my brakes on the truck that I noticed had become soft and mushy when applying the brake. No noise or grinding but still had to apply way too much pressure to stop the truck. I have had several different repairs made on my not so new Ford Escape in the last year. The most recent had been the prior week. You can imagine how I felt when the air Conditioning in my car started was blowing warm air. This had nothing to do with the previous repairs at all. All I could think was oh no it's the compressor and a lot of $$$. So I drove over this morning The owner said he would check it out. I waited in the nice air conditioned waiting area. He told me it was a slow leak and it was two valves causing it. I asked how much to fix the calves and recharging the system. You can imagine my surprise when he waived the charges. This was a first. All I can say is wow! The owner is a piece of garbage. I spent over 15k in my trucks at this place and the owner had owned me money for a warranty on a brand new engine that I bought off him. The engine broke in 3 months and the company paid him for warranty and he held the money for 6 months. When he was his last payment with me he told me to never come back. They put a whole new engine the first time and couldn't make it work for 3 months. I got a different mechanic to do it and he put a whole new engine the second time in 3 days. Just shows how much they know. Also they're a rip off. If you want your work to be done wrong and get ripped off then go to this garbage place. read more

We've been here twice this past week. Once for a Dodge Grand Caravan that was having major break issues and had been seen by 4 other mechanics including a dealer and no one could figure it out or they were guessing so we brought it here. We brought it Thursday it was ready by Saturday. They were courteous and friendly and even let us know on whether they were able to look at the car or not great communication. The second car we brought was for a Chevy Cruze the nut that was holding the oil was stripped that not even a special tool could remove it. They were able to remove it within the hour. This is a nice family owned business. I went there due to their awesome Yelp reviews after seeing a nail in one of my rear tires. As soon as I walked in I was greeted. They quoted me $25 for the repair, and when I mentioned that others were charged $20 they took the time to explain that there were different ways to do the repair depending on the severity of the puncture. I was just making sure I wasn't being charged a Lexus price, as some places tend to do that. They directed me to their waiting area and 20 minutes later my car was ready. After quoting me $25, the cost was only $20 as it wasn't a deep puncture! I highly recommend this shop. They are honest and trustworthy. read more

Okay I called 3 days ago to ask about pricing, it was good pricing but I had things to do. They were very informative on the phone too. Today I went to my main tire shop and was told to go away cause they're busy. Being a young girl, I don't have patience. So I decided to drive over here. And I'm glad I did. It's Saturday 11am and when I got here, they of course were packed and told me 2 hours. I said I would call back later to see if they were going to be good, but the man insisted he get my information. They asked for the vin and they ran to my car to go get it. They were very kind! He asked if I got pricing and I told them the prices I got, though the prices I got were wrong he actually met me close to the price and gave discount. No hassle at all, and to be honest I didn't mind paying their regular price, because it was fair too. He actually said to take a seat, that they would put me at the top of their list and I'm at the waiting room now. They're really cool and they speak English too. Rare in Miami. I'm liking the shop so far, they seem professional and care about cliental. He also said he would check before he aligns my car, if they are even able to do the alignment. (brother borrowed my car and of course, crashed and lied about it!) so they don't charge me for work they can't do. read more

I went in today suspecting I had a nail in one of my front tires as I heard a loud pop when driving on US1 yesterday. The owner of the shop was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. He offered to evaluate my car free of charge and after he came back with the diagnosis, he told me that all my car needed was to fill the tires with more air and there was no nail in my tire. He filled my tires and reset the computer so the "low tire pressure" sign was off- he did this all for free. I am incredibly shocked by his kindness and I recommend everyone to go to this humble mechanic's shop! I will be back for any future automobile concerns! read more

I found this place on yelp with all the good reviews. I am still new to the area and was somewhat skeptical being a girl in a new area that auto shops would rip me off. But because of the good reviews I decided to give it a try when I needed my oil change. They were super tentative and gave me the price right away. I afraid I was going to have to wait for awhile because I came in mid day. They gave me an estimated amount and were super efficient. They even asked me about other things such as when my tires were rotated and also educated me on how many miles I should go before getting my tires rotated. I seriously know NOTHING about cars and just go when the light turns on. But I am glad they were telling me things so I would know in the future. Believe the reviews!!! I came here as my dealer was trying to charge me nearly $400 to replace a tire with a nail in it. I spoke with another tire repair shop which was much farther north that told me to find a smaller shop near me with good reviews, as they will try to plug tires without trying to sell you a new one/a whole new set. Well the reviews were 100% accurate on this shop. They explained that they would try a plug but as the nail was close to the sidewall, if needed, I may need to get a new tire. They gave me a great quote on a comparable tire. In 10 minutes the plug was done and I was out of there (very inexpensive, btw). I went in today on a hopeful whim and spent very little money, but they now have a customer for life. This kind of service and honesty is unheard of in Miami, in this day and age, and generally in the auto industry. Thank you! read more
