Never come here! I've spent $1500 at this shop to fix my truck over the last year. Recently I asked them to replace my front tires with new ones and leave the best ones out of the four on the back. When I went to put air in my back tire today I noticed they left the tire that had a broken air stem valve on my truck which had been there before I changed the tires. It was impossible to put air in that tire with a broken valve so I drove straight to the shop. I went back and asked as a courtesy since they had left that bad tire on my truck and failed to notice the bad valve( they must not have checked the air pressure on all tires )to replace the valve at no cost. After getting a no from Juan the owner came out and said his shop could not afford to lose $20 and they would NOT replace it as a courtesy. My patronage and all the money spent prior was not worth a $20 repair to them that would take less than 15 mins. for something they should have caught had they checked all four tires. I came in with a 2017 Silver VW Tiguan mini SUV that had all the services lights on. An engine light, a steering wheel with exclamation light, IBS light, air bag light , tire pressure light, etc. All the lights that could be on were on. My care is fairly new and super under miles since I work remote. I am a young female so I do not know anything at all about auto repair and so rely on the shop employees. I was told straight off that I would have to pay a diagnostic fee of a hundred whether they fixed anything or not. Which in my opinion sounded like too much, but I am at the mercy of time since I have a road trip I need my car for. They told me the issue would be resolved with a tire sensor replacement which would cost a total of over $230. Which also sounded expensive but again I don't know how much a sensor is. They then had to keep my car overnight replacing it and the next day I am told the entire ABS or "hydrolic control unit" has to be replaced. I have no idea what this is but it will cost me another two grand. My uncle at this point stepped in saying that they need to put back my old sensor since that was clearly not the problem to begin with and for me to just pay the diagnostic fee and take my car back since I cannot afford the full IBS replacement. The shop then tells me that they got rid of my old sensor so I still have to pay for the new sensor and that labor even though it did not pay my issue at all for me to get my car back. My uncle tried calling multiple times and they kept hanging up on him being extremely rude. They refused to give me my money back for getting rid of my old sensor and not fixing my problem. read more

I went to this place prior to get my tires on one of my cars balanced and they did a decent job. However, I went two weeks ago for an estimate to have something looked at my other car. I was told it would be a while because they didn't have anyone available. I left and came back today and was told that the "diagnostic fee" would be $110 (which i could conveniently use to apply to the repairs if done with them). I thought I was hearing things. A diagnostic fee to check out noises on my car? I did not need the car hooked up to a computer and they know this and yet they had the nerve to attempt to charge $110 to give me a repair estimate? Why wasn't I told this the first time and I wouldn't have wasted my time coming back. This place is a joke. I have been going to local repair shops for years and this is a first. I have been charged for hooking the car up to the computer for a diagnosis but for suspension or driving issues, never. This place just lost a potential customer for life due to them trying to take advantage of customers. Just for reference I went to another shop down the street and they provided me with a thorough diagnosis free of charge and will be doing the work with them. Overall a really great experience. I had to have one new tire put on with an alignment and went in as a "walk in" on Saturday morning. My coworker recommended them and he was right on point. They are affordable and efficient. Their mechanics work hard, get it right, and are efficient. As for the price they really do have great rates ($155), I worried that it would have cost twice as much. The only thing that takes one star away is "checking out". I saw my car moved in to several bays as they worked on it and finally sat parked for quite a long time before I had to approach the counter and ask if my car is ready. I probably would have been out an hour earlier if I was paying closer attention. Ultimately I finally found a service center I can count on to get honest work done at a fair price. Terrible service and deceptive. I have taken my car before for a regular oil change and they were decent so when my car had an oil leak, I thought of them. I have a hybrid car and had taken it to a few other places but had been told the leak couldn't be identified. I thought of Miller 40 so I took it there. This was in Nov of 2023. I explained to them my car was leaking oil and no one could figure out how to fix it, they assured me they would be able to resolve the issue. They kept my car overnight after telling me it would be ready same day. That was fine, I understand that can happen. I went to pick up my car the following day and my total amount due was over $500. I asked if they were able to fix the leak and they said yes. My car ran fine for about two months so I figured it was fixed. This week the same issue started happening again. I called them to let me them know and was told "we never fixed the leak, we just fixed the oil sensor." I would have to pay $130 diagnostic fee plus whatever it would cost to fix the leak, something I was told they had done. I misplaced my original invoice so I called to see if they could email it to me. They are refusing to do so. They said if I want to see the invoice, I would have to go in person so they can "look for it". Something they were able to find quickly this morning when I called. It feels like I am getting the run around and they don't want to take care of an issue they were supposed to fix. I never mentioned anything about a sensor when I took my car back in Nov. My issue was the oil leak. Very disappointing. I am out $500 and need to spend more money to get the issue fixed. Would not recommend this place. read more

Not too bad considering I got what I wanted. I went for a simple oil change but I bring my own oil and filter, they did the job for $25 on a Ram 1500. I would say advertise the labor rather than giving me the whole slew that we don't normally do this but in the end the result was decent. I do have a complaint and that is that the mechanics left hand prints all over my white truck, they could have easily wiped it down. If this would have been done inside or on cloth it would have been more difficult to clean. I'll probably be going some where else next time since I've been doing this for some time and never had this issue at any other location. read more

This being the only auto shop I have used in Miami, I can't speak to how they compare to other local shops, but compared to what I have experienced with other shops around the country, this place is top notch. I had an AC issue on my Civic and they took care of it in an efficient and (most importantly) honest manner. They invited to me to look at the identified problem itself and thoroughly showed me how and why it was happening. When I came back a couple days later to have them do the work, they specified which components were going to be replaced and were forward about which components did NOT have to be replaced, so I firmly believe they were honest in their assessment without trying to take advantage of my vehicle's issue. On top of all this, they were very timely, in that I told Paul, the main desk employee, that I could come back the next day to pick it up if they needed extra time and yet they still had it done the same day. Finally, Paul and his fellow employees are customer-oriented. I will be driving 15 hrs north in a minivan in a couple days and Paul invited me to bring that vehicle in for a once-over maintenance check to make sure everything was in working order. It was done free of charge and, again, he and his colleagues were honest in their assessment and did not try to find anything to charge me on. I might have even noticed them topping off my engine oil, but I can't confirm. Miller 40 has my highest recommendation. And most importantly, I will say this. My father was in communication with Paul during the entire AC fix with the Civic and afterwards told me Miller 40 has his seal of approval. If my father trusts someone, they most definitely are of quality! read more

When the A/C went out in my Nissan Altima, I tried to get Palmetto Nissan to fix it and they wanted over $1,000. I came to this place and it was much cheaper. When I had issues with my Scion, they did a thorough tune up and got the car working like new. Now, they keep my Chevy running smooth as I will be there tmr at 8 am. Terrible experience at this auto service; vehicle had check engine light on, and after performing and being charge for a full diagnose; I have to retrieve my vehicle with exact same light on, and a terrible squeaky Noice; Paid a total of $ 615.23, for a diagnose, and a gas pump replaced, and my vehicle still not working properly. They keep telling me, they could keep playing with their diagnose system, and keep charging me for possible solutions, but no guaranty. No idea on what type of mechanics do they have, it seems they do not have qualified and licensed mechanics, just people walking around acting like they are working, when in essence, they were not doing anything. My vehicle stays at this location for three days, and they couldn't solve the problem. I could not refuse charges, if I want to take my vehicle out of this shop; in other words, they still my money. Please do not step at this store for service, avoid the waste of time, money, and the aggravation of seeing them laughing at you; like if you hire their service for fun. They have always quoted a fair price and are always punctual about the time it takes to work on it . I work close by and it's always ready and I have never had to wait extra time . STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! After having a very bad experience years ago and hearing that this place changed management i decided to give them a try once again. They didnt disappoint as they gave me excellent service, so good that i even trusted them with changing my oil, a job that i can easily do. Even brought my wifes car and had its brakes replaced. Now to the present, one morning my car started to shake and my engine light was blinking, tried to diagnose it with my tool but it didnt show exactly what was wrong, i cleared the code and made a decided to go to a shop. So having a pleasant experience with this shop i decided to go to them. They diagnosed it and charged me $98 for it, not problem as i trusted them. Thats when everything went sideways. The service rep that was taking care of me, which i will give the name "Omar" told me that the the spark plugs needed to be changed and to be safe he told me that the engine coils needed replacement to. Hearing this explanation i assumed that the spark plugs was the main culprit and the engine coils can wait. I was given a qoute of 220 for the spark plugs and 800 for the engine coil. I decided that i would only want the spark plug repairs only. "Omar" told me that if i only wanted to replace my spqrk plugs and learned that my coil was broken, i would be charged another set of spark plugs plus additional labor. Why would i be charged !gain for a newly replaced spark plugs?? So u told him to change the spark plugs only and change the oil too After 2 hours of waiting, when he gave me the key he told me "when the endgine light is till on just come back (a little creepy) So i went inside my car started it And the problem was still there, Car shaking and engine light stil lit. Thats where i got suspicious, because normally, they would clear all codes after each repair, but my light was still on. So i asked omar, he said "oh its still on because the coil my still be broken" i responded that "why is the engine light still on if you cleared the code?" I mean, i have a ten dollar diagnostic tool that can clear it and this shop couldnt? And if they did clear it, it would awhile before it shows up again. I guess they just wanted to show me that it was the engine coil that was broken and theu jsut wanted to charge for the spark plugs too. So i paid. Left that place, bought an engine coil at an auto part store and changed it myself.with this pandemic im not gonna spend $900 on spark plugs and engine coils. TLDR: So beware guys. Used this place for many years; first when it was a franchise (don't recall which) and then when Martin and his family owned it and have had good experiences there till recently. Within past year spent total of approximately $6,000+ there on major repairs under new ownership, never complained, never haggled, just paid it b-c I knew transmission was really broken and my AC was as well, etc. When took my car there last time they weren't great and this past time was over the top poor customer service. I begged the guy not to let me go out there to drop off my car and take an uber to office for no reason if he wasn't going to be able to get to my car. With super demanding job and as only caregiver of my aging mom and a bunch of rescue animals, I asked him to please help me protect my time. I left car there, spend $20 on uber to office, spent $20 on uber back 8 hours later & was nonchalantly told nothing had been done on my car all day. Now I will have to rent a car for my trip to the keys tomorrow & as a consequence incur that expense as well. Not pretty. I won't be returning to this business. read more
