This place is awesome!!! I've recently had the opportunity to come across my first ever Rolex Daytona #116503 which wasn't my first choice. The first time I walked into Devon's I was assisted by Tony and eventually Zach came into the picture in the end. I've always wanted a Rolex and my first choice was a simple Submariner for my first Rolex. Obviously with the popularity of these models it's not available at the moment. Fast forward a couple weeks later I decided to stop by and see if any new timepieces came in. Zach was there and he greeted me with the utmost respect as always. Long story short, I was given the opportunity to purchase my first ever Rolex and it happens to be a Daytona instead of a Submariner. Win win situation in my opinion. Walking around Roseville Galleria looking for nothing to buy but was window shopping and stumbled upon DeVons Jewelers. Went to look at the Rolex's and met Dave, the salesman. We slowly talked about watches and I mentioned I appreciated the quality and stability of the Rolex brand and he asked about my Submariner I was wearing. We continued to delve deeper into the appreciation of paying so much for a watch and he offered to clean up the bracelet and remove the scratches. I was hesitant as some jewelers don't know how to polish the bracelet and do it incorrectly thus lowering the value of the watch. He impeccably removed them and asked if I was satisfied. I said I owned a Tudor Tiger and he offered the next time I was in town to have it brought in to clean up. Needless to say I took him up on the offer and without hesitation, did a fantastic job. Now THAT is customer service. I understand it is a high dollar world that looks for the bottom line, but having him behind the counter showing appreciation for others' watches and know that it costs a pretty penny to get into Rolexes. I received a bracelet for my birthday and wanted to exchange it for something more sturdy. I asked to see there selection of bracelets and the salesman said to me " it's over there in that case " I walked over there and saw a selection of 5 bracelets. None if them were of any interest to me. I waited for the salesman to acknowledge me and told him I would like to just return my merchandise . He looked at my receipt and told me that because it was paid for in cash I would have to wait for a check to be mailed to me. Apparently they don't do cash refunds. I found that to be frustrating. I did ask to get my rings cleaned and he did that without any question and I did appreciate that It's to bad they don't have more selection of what I wanted . So a month ago I got super excited when I heard they were getting an all new Rolex section but the open date was unknown. Well today I found out they relocated to their new spot for 3 days! This is a "shout out" to everybody at the DeVon's Roseville Galleria store! I recently went in with my daughter to find a Mother's Day gift and Zack patiently helped us during a very busy time. We purchased a simple gold bracelet that needed to be sized in time. When we went in to pickup the bracelet it was still a little too big. With no hesitation at all Zack determined another link needed to be removed and he assured us it would be ready in time. It was! Yesterday was Mother's Day and she is happily wearing her bracelet today. I have purchased many expensive items from DeVon's over the years including Rolex watches and diamonds however, the biggest testament to why I keep coming back is when they treat us so well when only purchasing a simple bracelet that needed to be ready on time. Not my favorite Devon's Jewelers to go to. The employees don't seem to trust their customers. Always asking for identification. I had a Rolex sent in to be refurbished and it took over 2 1/2 months to get the watch back from Rolex service Center. Granted given time for the holidays, but almost 3 months wait is not acceptable. Further when I initially turned in my Mom's watch. To be serviced, they made me feel like I stole it! When in actuality, my Mom had passed away 3 years ago and the family divided up her treasures. To keep my Mom's memory alive, I took it in to have it serviced and restored. I buy thousands of dollars in jewelry from Devon's at the Arden Fair Store, but I will not be returning to the Westfield Galleria Devon's any time soon. read more

This place is amazing! Matt is a guy that you can tell truly cares about customers having an amazing experience. My fathers birthday is coming up soon. A milestone birthday... turning 60. So I wanted to surprise him with a new Rolex. He has done a lot for me and wanted to get him something really nice. With COVID in full effect as this location just opened back up I reached out on the first day to see if they had the Rolex Air King for my dad. And Matt said he did. I got super excited because no other AD had one and couldn't find one earlier because every AD was closed due to the pandemic. He did mention that it was reserved for someone else that was waiting for one to show up. I was heart broken because I thought I wasn't going to have enough time to find this watch for my dad before his Birthday. But I did tell Matt of course that is the right thing to do and I totally understood. With both of my fingers crossed when I got off the phone with Matt, he called me back and said the other customer is no longer interested. I was so happy. I will always remember that day. When I came in to pick up the watch Matt was a class act and presented the timepiece for my father in an amazing way and taught me a little more about Rolex that I didn't know before. Okay, so here I am, a week and a half away from my wedding day, only to find out that DeVons NEVER ORDERED MY WEDDING BAND! Let me back this story up so ya'll can get the complete picture. Three weeks prior, I had walked in and was looking for my wedding band. Knowing my wedding was in a month, the salesman, Mike, helped me find a ring that he said would arrive within a week, took my name and phone number down and said he would give me a call when it came in. Wallah, another thing checked off my wedding to do list...or at least I thought. About two weeks later, I happened to be at the galleria on an unrelated shopping trip and decided to just stop in to check on the status of my ring. Looking back, the salesman, Mike (I've learned there's two Mikes so not sure which one), looked kind of spooked to see me. He went and looked to see if it had arrived and told me he would give me a call as soon as it came in. Let me restate that: THE SAME SALESMAN that took my original order, also looked for the ring and said it wasn't in yet. Hmmm, okay. Five days later, my fiancé and I were at Arden. (Yes, a lot of shopping has happened in preparation for the big day.) Thankfully, my fiancé suggests that maybe I should check the DeVons Arden location to see if they have the same ring or something similar. THANK GOODNESS I DID! I explained the situation to the salesman at Arden and the following conversation happens: Salesman: "Did you put a deposit down?" Me: "No, he didn't ask for a deposit." Salesman: "Oh." (long pause) "There's no way they would have ordered a ring, without a deposit." Me: (insert shocked face emoji) The salesman at Arden then called over to the Roseville location, just to make sure, and after being on the phone for some time...NO RING OR ANY RECORD that a ring had been ordered under my name! WTF?! Here's my biggest problem. I am a really understanding person and know mistakes happen BUT, if you didn't order the ring, why did you LIE TO MY FACE when I came in the second time and say you'd give me a call when it came in?! That is beyond me! Needless to say, only after completely stressing out over this situation, I took my business elsewhere and purchased a beautiful wedding band--that I took home the same day. As I'm searching for several watches including a limited release Rolex, the not interested in selling salesman asks me where the Rolex that I'm wearing came from. After telling him it was purchased at another authorized dealer, he told me oh, well that watch that you are looking for is reserved for our customers only. Looks like he just lost the sale with. As a person who is going to buy at least one additional watch at the same time, I was shocked. Tourneau in San Francisco is much more accommodating and willing to sell. Not to mention, a much much nicer boutique with 3-4x the inventory. Don't waste your time here unless you are interested in the small town politics of the management. read more

My husband and I have been loyal DeVons customers for 25+ years beginning with the Sunrise Mall location and now Roseville Galleria. We now live in New Hampshire but make certain to stop by DeVons anytime we're in the area, roughly once a year. They kindly order and ship directly to New Hampshire for us (we live in a tax free state) in order to save us the California sales tax. After a lengthy illness during which my husband lost a considerable amount of weight, he was horrified to discover that his wedding band had slipped off his finger and was lost. This past summer, we stopped by DeVons and had the pleasure of interacting with Zach who helped us find just the perfect replacement white gold band. Three weeks ago I stopped by and met the new Roseville store manager, Matthew, who was kind enough to show me some lovely diamond bracelets so that I could give my husband his requested "Christmas ideas"! Thanks so much to all the kind ladies and gentlemen at this location who always help clean and polish my jewelry and are very accommodating and understanding when dealing with us and our time limitations when visiting from out of state. My husband and I were shopping around local jewelry stores to see if we could find a nice anniversary present for me. We were highly disappointed when we went to DeVons. The reasons why: First thing we heard when we walked into the store was one of the sales ladies yelling at a customer on the phone, then we walked around the store and were completely ignored, when we asked questions about the jewelry they gave us no good answers, and when they quoted us on the price of a diamond we later found out that they had tried to charge us WAY more than the diamond was actually worth. I guess that when you have a jewelry store in the mall they take every opportunity to make you pay for their outrageous rent. read more

I thought that I needed to buy an extra link for my Rolex. I have gone all over Sacramento looking for a place and was finally referred to Devon's at Roseville since they are an authorized dealer. When j entered the store I was greeted very quickly by a sales associate and then referred to their Rolex specialist. Turns out he was able to move the pin on the clasp of the watch band and it now fits perfectly. In the meantime he had actually helped me figure out the Oyster Perpetual model and year (since I had forgotten that info at home) and knew what link I would need to order if necessary. He also cleaned the watch bracelet, and reset the date and time for me and all at no cost. Needless to say, when I need to make a jewelry purchase I will be coming back. I never write reviews but I felt the need to on this place, because it's been such an overwhelmingly positive experience. My fiancé & I checked their selection against other jewelry stores & not only did they have more quality merchandise, but the quality of their service was far superior to other store's staff as well. No high pressure salespeople- period. Also the other reviewers mentioned "quotas"- well, they don't have any here because it's basically the only large jewelry chain that is completely employee run & owned. As it was explained to me, once upon a time it was family owned, but upon the death of the owner, he willed it to the employees, who are vested in the company. In other words, they don't work like other stores where they MUST sell to get a paycheck. One more reason the service is great here. Maybe that's why some people reviewing were offended that there wasn't someone pouncing on them immediately? Personally, I hate that. I was married once before & got an engagement set thru Tiffany's about 5 years ago, and while their stores & pieces are more high-end overall, the selection isn't as great & honestly you're paying a lot for the social cache that comes with the name and the little blue box. Ok, getting down to the details- we have been to the store about 7-10 times. We've almost exclusively dealt with Randy. I can't say enough about this guy! He is awesome! Totally knowledgable, very personable, and never rushes you. It took us several visits to decide on an engagement ring. He told us the Tacori trunk show was coming up & that there was a bunch of inventory we could see all at once, since we were already leaning that way. It was WELL worth it, particularly because we wanted a less common rose gold setting and an antique style ring. We found exactly what we wanted, plus we got my fiancé's ring & a free men's ring for work (it's his "stunt ring") & free Tacori earrings. Can't beat that! Seriously, the trunk show is the way to go. When I saw it in person- ... It is just the most beautiful ring I've ever seen. (Ask Randy about the rose gold 3-stone Tacori ring with the emerald cut! He has a picture of it!!) Fast forward 6 weeks after our engagement. Despite being SUPER careful with my ring (taking it off to wash dishes or clean, etc) I looked down one day to find a little chip in the stone near a prong. I was so upset & worried they wouldn't fix it, I avoided taking it back for another month. We finally called Randy & he told us to come right in. He took a look & said, "Don't worry about it. We'll cover it & send it to Tacori to repair." (Did I mention he ALWAYS remembered us?) It was done & back in Roseville in under a week. (Tacori is a CA based company- how convenient!) My fiancé picked it up & was again assured by Randy that the repair was on the house when he asked what we owed. (It's usually $75!) not only that, when I got home to my ring that night, the stone was obviously upgraded & cut in a fancier pattern than the one I sent it away with. And what gal doesn't love some extra sparkle?! They have two customers for life! Seriously, don't waste your time elsewhere- these guys are professionals. read more
