I went in and Randy was able to help me send it off for service. After a few months (Covid delays) on the repair they called me right away when it came back from Rolex servicing. Rolex covered it as well. The ladies who called me were also very sweet and even did some follow up on the repair status as time went on. They helped me get back up and running. I was also able to see their amazing Tudor watch collection and definitely would recommend working with Devon's for any jewelry purchase. I have a love hate relationship with this store. Came in three years ago (Sept 2019) to discuss purchasing my first Rolex. Had a great experience talking to Matt. I have stopped in one or twice a year since to tell them I'm still interested...always been a great experience talking with Matt and as well as Tony. However, in three years, I have never been offered the opportunity to purchase anything Rolex. However, with an anniversary coming up, I was wandering around the mall and decided to browse. I came in because they're the local Rolex dealer. I was given the opportunity to piggy back off the relationship of a family member to another Rolex dealer but I figured I'll come in and see how the process works. If I could help it I'd like to stay local and establish my own continuing relationship with a dealer; this is where I met Dave Hansen. Having been in sales before I appreciated his approach and not being intimidating or pushy. He easily could have said "no we are sold out of Rolexes, kick rocks" and catered to his existing client base, but we chatted a bit, set my expectations realistically and put my name on a list for 2 different watches for myself and my fiancée. I will check in with him continuously but I am very excited to place these orders when available! It's not often one achieves personal milestones and I'm happy Dave at Devons is my consultant to help me with the process in acquiring me a trophy for my milestone. Though the selection is limited due to being a small store, the price ranges were really affordable and we liked that. We also really love the assistant manager Randy Begotka- who we bought the wedding ring from. My fiancé and I brought my engagement ring in for resizing back on Saturday (3/14/2020). During our time at the store (Roseville Galleria location) we bought my wedding band. We were informed by the Assistant Manager that both items would be available for pickup the following Friday (3/20/20). When we called that Friday, we were told our items were locked in their vault, and not to worry, due to Coronavirus shelter in place, that was put into place Thursday 3/19/19 for the following day Friday 3/20/20. We asked what are the options of getting my ring and they had no resolution. I expressed to them how, though this situation is not their fault, this is my wedding ring, not just a piece of jewelry- a necklace, earrings or bracelet, etc- and the fact that they took no initiative prior to this. No warning. No phone call reaching out and letting us know that this would be the result prior. We have called several time and spoken to a female name Susie, as well as, the store manager Matt Teresi. Who are refusing to work with us in anyway. I would have only been without my ring for 2 weeks but now that the stay in order is extended an additional month, I am going to be without my ring for over a month and a half. Another frustration, we asked them to check to make sure that they even received my ring back from being sized, they said they are unable to verify that. We are extremely disappointed and frustrated beyond belief that the manager is unwilling to work with us on helping and making an exception for me to get my ring back as soon as possible and we are not okay with this outcome. The customer service is terrible!! Went in today with my parents for my dads wedding band since we love what Devon's has to offer (other locations) and they ( this Roseville Galleria location) didn't even acknowledge us. We were waiting around for a few minutes and these girls were just standing around talking. When I said hey are you guys available to assist, one of them finally came to show us the rings. However, she wasn't helpful at all, didn't really want to show us the rings.. I kept asking her to show us various ones with different width of the bands and she kept responding with "oh it's the same size".. NO IT WASN'T! When I told her I want to see it anyways, she finally pulled it out.. i literally had to show her the comparison for her to respond with "ohhhh i didn't know what you were talking about"... ummmm lady I am an American and I am fluent in English, which part didn't make sense to you?! We ended up buying the ring anyways because we liked it but probably not shopping there again for the lack of customer service. I found this store (Randy, Sam, Matt) not only affable, professional, & transparent, but, most impressively, all possessing unique sartorial elegance (as seen in their watches)! Collectively, I appreciated their blunt honesty and extensive watch knowledge; particularly, the symbiosis amongst Randy, Matt, and Sam, how their unique areas of knowledge converge. Randy, over decades, has an honed eye for future horological collectibles, learning from his vast unmatched experiences is honestly worth a visit in itself for any WIS. We have previously only purchased our jewelry at this location for the last 15 years. A few days ago we went into the store to have my three stone diamonds placed in a new setting. I wanted a Tacori setting but was informed they no longer sell Tacori . My second solution was to customer design my ring and again I was told they can't accommodate and have no ideas how to help me?! This is basic information and a place like Devon's can't custom design rings?! Absolutely the worst customer service ever!! was the horrible sales associate. I decided to call and spoke to the manager Randy who was even worse to deal with. The manger Randy then tells me they can custom design ?! Regarding a previous reviewer stating that Devon's would not sell him a Rolex unless he "spent 1000s of dollars" on other products in the store, all I can tell him is WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF ROLEX! DeVon's is one of the most reputable dealers around. Sadly the reviewer will find the same answer at every dealer he walks into, so I wouldn't put much stock in his review. This has been the situation with Rolex for years, especially the stainless steel sports models. The brand keeps their supply low and demand is extremely high, so it's nearly impossible to get one. Simple law of supply and demand folks. This is not unique to DeVon's. The dealers who AREN'T reputable are the ones who sell every Rolex steel sports model that they receive out the back door to market flippers who double the price and immediately resell them to desperate customers on eBay and Chrono24. DeVon's does NOT do that, and in fact they ban anyone from further Rolex purchases if they're discovered to be a flipper. Matt, Randy, and the rest of the DeVon's crew are fantastic people. Their customer service is second to none, and their brand new Roseville store is beautiful. You can't go wrong with these guys. Whether looking for an engagement ring or you're interested in the latest Tudor watch, a visit to DeVon's will be well worth your time. I recently took my daughters engagement ring to Devons to be enlarged and to have the prongs repaired. The ring is 86 years old. She had a jewelers in Ventura give her an estimate that was 4x higher than what Devons charged. Devons did a beautiful job and it only took 10 days. The employees are so nice. Finding the steel sports models by Rolex is becoming increasingly difficult, especially for the more collectible pieces such as the GMT Master II BLNR (also known as the Batman) which is the watch I was lucky enough to purchase here. Steven Gallegos is your go to guy if you want the proper Rolex experience. Long story short I have been wanting my first Rolex to add to my collection and had been in the market with Rolex for two years. I live in Sacramento, originally went to Devon's to start the process (our local Rolex retailer.) Got in the system, work with someone etc. Since then, I have walked into other Rolex retail locations and have been turned away at the door. My recent experience at this store was very pleasant. I called right at opening and was greeted by Zach. I explained I had inherited a Rolex from my late father and needed it sized. He explained that I could bring it in any time and have the adjustment performed free of charge. About an hour or two later I stopped by the store. Immediately Zach greeted me asking if I was the one who called earlier. He took a look at my watch and gave me some advice on getting it serviced through Rolex. Exceptional customer service by a group of people who are passionate about what they do. Had an incredible experience purchasing our Rolex from Steven. What's extra special is that the first time I met him is when I came in with friends who are on a list for Rolex. Even though I was not the primary buyer, Steven treated me with value. Granted I went in on Saturday night so they may have been tired from working all day BUT when I walked in with my fiance, NO ONE acknowledged me. And I mean NO ONE. We got a couple of stares but that was it. We were looking for wedding bands for our upcoming wedding. We walked up to a couple of cases, where there were workers standing around but we didn't even get a "hello". We waited for a few minutes but ended up leaving. If you don't want to bother even acknowledging our presence, then we will take our money elsewhere. Not sure if it is because we aren't the usual demographics that would walk in there OR that we were both in sweaters and not dressed up but I found it a bit offensive that even after standing around for a few minutes, no one even bothered to say anything to us.
